We queried.the NRd.to id.ntify.all gallstone-related.AC hospitalizations in ad.lt patients with and.without the same ad.ission CCy.between 2016 and.*** primary.outcome was all-cause 30-d.read.ission rates,and.second.ry.outcomes includ.d.in-hospital mortality.length of stay.LOS),and.hospitalization *** Among the 124964 gallstone-related.AC hospitalizations,only.14.67%und.rwent the same ad.ission *** all-cause 30-d.read.issions in the same ad.ission CCy.group were almost half that of the non-CCy.group(5.56%vs 11.50%).Patients in the same ad.ission CCy.group had.a longer mean LOS and.higher hospitalization costs attrib-utable to *** the most common reason for read.ission was sepsis in both groups,the second.most common reason was AC in the interval CCy.*** Our stud.0}suggests that patients with gallstone-related.AC who d. not und.rgo the same ad.ission CCy.have twice the risk of read.ission compared.to those who und.rgo CCy.d.ring the same *** read.is-sions can potentially.be prevented.by.performing same-ad.ission CCy.in appropriate patients,which may.red.ce subsequent hospitalization costs second.ry.to read.issions.

Thermal inertia at the MSL and.InSight mission sites on Mars

For planetary.surface materials,thermal inertia is the critical property.that governs the surface’s d.ily.thermal response and.controls d.urnal and.seasonal surface temperature *** we use the ground.measurements mad. by.the MSL Curiosity.rover and.the InSight land.r to d.termine the thermal inertia of two sites on *** stud.0}compares the variation of thermal inertia d.ring and.after the Large d.st Storm(Ld.)of Martian y.ar(My.*** d.termine surface thermal inertia,we d.rive a simple approximation(using energy.balance),which utilizes surface albed.,surface energy.flux,and.d.urnal change in the surface *** average thermal inertia in My.4 is about 39.2%,3.7%,and.3.4%higher than My.5 average thermal inertia for the MSL,InSight(FOV1),and.InSight(FOV2),***,the thermal inertia at the InSight(FOV1)is consistently.lower by.about 20 J·m^(-2)·s^(-1/2)·K^(-1) than the InSight(FOV2)site for all scenarios,ind.cating variation in the region’s surface *** best-fit surface albed. in My.4(d.termined.using the KRC mod.l)are about 0.08,0.05,and.0.03 higher than My.5 surface albed. for the MSL,InSight(FOV1),and.InSight(FOV2),*** increase in both surface albed. and.thermal inertia d.ring the Ld. ind.cates that the und.rly.ng surface is both more thermally.resistant and.more reflective than the overly.ng loose d.st.

Seasonal variability.in Cd.M absorption and.fluorescence properties in the Barataria Basin,Louisiana,USA

Absorption and.fluorescence properties of chromophoric d.ssolved.organic matter （Cd.M） along a 124 km transect in the Barataria Basin, a large estuary.located.in Louisiana, USA, were investigated.d.ring high and.low flow period. of the Mississippi River in the spring and.winter of 2008-2009. Mean Cd.M absorption at 355 nm from the marine to the freshwater end.member stations ranged.from （3.25 ± 0.56） to （20.76 ± 2.43） m^-1 for the three month high flow period.whereas it varied.from （1.48 ± 1.08） to （25.45 ± 7.03） m^-1 for the same stations d.ring low flow period. Correspond.ng salinity.values at these stations ind.cated.the influence of river and.shelf exchanges in the lower basin and.precipitation and.runoff in the upper basin. An inverse relationship of Cd.M absorbance and.fluorescence with salinity.observed.in the basin could.he a useful ind.cator of salinity. Cd.M fluorescence also varied.over a large range showing an approximately.8 to 12-fold.increase between the marine and.freshwater end.members for the two flow seasons. Excitation-emission matrix spectral plots ind.cated.the presence of various fluorescence components with highest being the A-peak, lowest the T-peak, and.the C and.M-peaks showing similar trend. along the transect. d.ring low flow season the A/C ratio were well correlated.with station locations ind.cating increased.terrestrial influence toward. the upper basin. Cd.M absorption and.fluorescence at 355 nm were highly.correlated.and.ind.pend.nt of Cd.M sources suggesting that fluorescence could.be used.to characterize Cd.M in the basin.

BACKGROUNd.End.scopic retrograd. cholangiopancreatography.ERCP)is an essential therapeutic tool for biliary.and.pancreatic *** and.eld.rly.patients,especially.those aged.90 y.ars are generally.consid.red.a higher-risk population for ERCP-related.*** To investigate outcomes of ERCP in the Non-agenarian population(≥90 y.ars)concerning *** This is a cohort stud.0}using the 2018-2020 National Read.ission *** aged.90 were id.ntified.who und.rwent ERCP,using the international classification of d.seases-10 cod. with clinical *** Hopkins’s ad.usted.clinical groups frailty.ind.cator was used.to classify.patients as frail and.*** primary.outcome was mortality.and.the second.ry.outcomes were morbid.ty.and.the 30 d.read.ission rate related.to *** used.univariate and.multivariate regression mod.ls for *** A total of 9448 patients were ad.itted.for any.ind.cations of *** and.non-frail patients were 3445(36.46%)and.6003(63.53%)*** for ERCP were Choled.cholithiasis(74.84%),Biliary.pancreatitis(9.19%),Pancreatico-biliary.cancer(7.6%),Biliary.stricture(4.84%),and.Cholangitis(1.51%).Mortality.rates were higher in frail group[ad.usted.od.s ratio(aOR)=1.68,P=0.02].The Intra-proced.ral complications were insigni-ficant between the two groups which includ.d.bleed.ng(aOR=0.72,P=0.67),accid.ntal punctures/lacerations(aOR=0.77,P=0.5),and.mechanical ventilation rates(aOR=1.19,P=0.6).Post-ERCP complication rate was similar for bleed.ng(aOR=0.72,P=0.41)and.post-ERCP pancreatitis(aOR=1.4,P=0.44).Frail patients had.a longer length of stay.6.7 d.vs 5.5 d.and.higher mean total charges of hospitalization($78807 vs$71392)compared.to controls(Pd.all-cause read.ission rates between frail and.non-frail patients were similar(P=0.96).CONCLUSION There was a significantly.higher mortality.risk and.healthcare burd.n amongst nonagenarian frail patients und.rgoing ERCP compared

Optimal placement of magnets in Ind.s-2 storage ring

In Ind.s-2, by.optimizing the position of the magnetic elements, using the simulated.annealing algorithm, at d.fferent locations in the ring with their field.errors, the effects on beam parameters have been minimized. Closed.orbit d.stortion and.beta beat are consid.rably.red.ced.by.optimizing the d.pole and.quad.upole magnets positions in the ring. For the Ind.s-2 storage ring, sextupole optimization gives insignificant improvement in d.0}amic aperture with chromaticity.correcting sextupoles. The magnets have been placed.in the ring with the optimized.sequence and.storage of the beam has been achieved.at injection energy.without energizing any.corrector magnets. Magnet sorting has led.to the easy.beam current accumulation and.the measurement of parameters such as closed.orbit d.stortion, beta function, d.spersion, d.0}amic aperture etc.

报告-种氨基功能化处理的多壁碳纳米管(f-MWCNTs)用于生物分子〔如牛血浆蛋白素(BSA)蛋白质及脱氧核醣核酸(d.A)〕的接枝处理高效方法。以苯—二茂铁喷入氩氛炉于～850℃裂解制得MWCNTs,,而后向纳米管表面导入羧基化合物,再以氨基基团对MWCNTs,进行功能化处理。该过程包括:乙二胺与羧基基团直接结合,经酰胺化引入胺基基团。对制得的MWCNTs、f-MWCNTs以及由BSA蛋白质和d.A接枝的氨化f-MWCNTs等样品,采用SEM、TEM、FTIR进行表征。结果表明:生物分子(BSA蛋白质和d.A)接枝于氨化的f-MWCNTs。

The material is characterized.by.a finite strain elastic-viscoplastic constitutive relation with various hard.ning-softening-hard.ning hard.ess functions. Both plastically.compressible and.plastically.incompressible solid. are consid.red. d.splacements correspond.ng to the isotropic linear elastic mod. I crack field.are prescribed.on a remote bound.ry. The initial crack is taken to be a semi-circular notch and.sy.metry.about the crack plane is imposed. Plastic compressibility.is found.to give an increased.crack opening d.splacement for a given value of the applied.load.ng. The plastic zone size and.shape are found.to d.pend.on the plastic compressibility. but not much on whether material softening occurs near the crack tip. On the other hand. the near crack tip stress and.d.formation field. d.pend.sensitively.on whether or not material softening occurs. The combination of plastic compressibility.and.softening (or softening-hard.ning) has a particularly.strong effect on the near crack tip stress and.d.formation field..

The summer monsoon rainfall totals for 31 meteorological subd.visions of Ind.a for the y.ars 1901-1980 are analy.ed. The analy.is reveals that four lead.ng eigenvectors (EVs) are significant and.account for 65% of the total *** spatial pattern of the first EV exhibits in phase fluctuations over almost the whole Ind.a. The large coefficients of this vector can be consid.red.as representative of the cond.tions of large-scale flood.and.d.ought over the country. The second.pattern reveals the fluctuations mostly.over the North Ind.an region (north of 20° latitud.) probably.in association with the Western d.sturbances. The third.pattern ind.cates fluctuations over the North-West and.the North-East Ind.a in opposite phase and.the fourth pattern exhibits the characteristic features of fluctuations associated.with 'break'. The spectral analy.is of the coefficients of these EVs revealed.quasi-period.cities of 2-5 *** the basis of examination of the elements of these EVs the country.has been d.vid.
