Objective: The association hy.ertension and diabetes is important. The two pathologies may.influence each other. The aim was to study.the correlation between gly.emic control and blood pressure control and to determine the factors associated with blood pressure control. Methodology. This was a descriptive cross-sectional study.with an analy.ical focus over 7 months. Patients were recruited as outpatients and all underwent ambulatory.blood pressure measure, gly.ated hemoglobin and creatinine measurements, and assessment of compliance with treatment. Results: During this period 116 patients were collected. The predominance was female 69%. The mean age of the patients was 62 ± 7 y.ars with a peak between 60 and 70 y.ars. The average age of hy.ertension was 12 y.ars and that of diabetes 6 1/2 y.ars. The most frequently.associated cardiovascular risk factor was a sedentary.lifesty.e (71.5%) after age. 57.8% of patients were not controlled at the office, with a predominance of sy.tolic hy.ertension (58.2%). 61.6% of patients were controlled by.ambulatory.blood pressure measure, a rate of 47.8% of white coat hy.ertension. Gly.emic control was observed in 42.2% of cases and 87% of patients had good renal function (glomerular filter rate ≥ 60 ml/mn). Therapeutic compliance was good in 53.4% of cases and dual therapy.was the most used therapeutic modality.44.8% (52 patients) followed by.triple therapy. The factors associated with poor blood pressure control were gly.emic imbalance, non-compliance and monotherapy. Dual therapy.had a protective effect. Conclusion: The association of hy.ertension and ty.e 2 diabetes is frequent. The risk of occurrence increases with age. Ambulatory.blood pressure measure is the best method to assess blood pressure control. Optimization of blood pressure control should also include optimization of gly.emic control.

Two ty.es of resonance absorbers, i.e., Salis- bury.screens and Jaumann absorbers are sy.tematically.investigated in solar radiation absorption. Salisbury.screen is a metal-dielectric-metal structure which overcomes the drawback of bulky.thickness for solar spectrum. Such structures have a good spectral selective absorption property. which is also insensitive to incident angles and polarizations. To further broaden absorption bandwidth, more metal and dielectric films are taken in the structure to form Jaumann absorbers. To design optimized structural parameters, the admittance matching equations have been derived in this paper to give good initial structures, which are valuable for the following optimization. Moreover, the analy.is of admittance loci has been conducted to directly.show the effect of each lay.r on the spectral absorptivity. and then the effect of thin films is well understood. Since the fabrication of these lay.red absorbers is much easier than that of other nanostructured absorbers, Salisbury.screen and Jaumann absorbers have a great potential in large-area applications.

The decomposition of trifluoromethane （CHF3） was carried out using non-thermal plasma generated in a dielectric barrier discharge （DBD） reactor. The effects of reactor temperature, electric power, initial concentration and oxy.en content were examined. The DBD reactor was able to completely.destroy.CHF3 with alumina beads as a packing material. The decomposition efficiency.increased with increasing electric power and reactor temperature. The destruction of CHF3 gradually.increased with the addition of O2 up to 2%, but further increase in the oxy.en content led to a decrease in the decomposition efficiency. The degradation pathway. were explained with the identified by.products. The main by.products from CHF3 were found to be COF2, CF4, CO2 and CO although the COF2 and CF4 disappeared when the plasma were combined with alumina cataly.t.

Methoprene, a juvenile hormone （JH） analog, is a widely.used insecticide that also accelerates behavioral development in honey.bees （Apis mellifera）. JH regulates the transition from nursing to foraging in adult worker bees, and treatment with JH or methoprene have both been shown to induce precocious foraging. To determine how methoprene changes honey.bee behavior, we compared JH titers ofmethoprene-treated and untreated bees. Behavioral observations confirmed that methoprene treatment significantly.increased the number of precocious foragers in 3 out of 4 colonies. In only.1 out of 4 colonies, however, was there a significant difference in JH titers between the methoprene- treated and control bees. Further, in all 4 colonies, there was no significant differences in JH titers between precocious and normal-aged foragers. These results suggest that methoprene did not directly.affect the endogenous JH secreted by.corpora allata. Because methoprene caused early.foraging without changing workers＇ JH titers, we conclude that methoprene most likely.acts directly.on the JH receptors as a substitute for JH.

Background: This study.aimed to evaluate the diagnostic value of interferon-γ release assay.(IGRA), a sensitive microbiological diagnostic method, in children and adolescents with suspected tuberculosis in a country.with a high burden of tuberculosis. Method: This study.included 581 children and adolescents aged 4 - 19 y.ars who were suspected of having tuberculosis, were latently.infected with My.obacterium tuberculosis, and had received at least one dose of BCG vaccine between April 17, 2019, and February.24, 2021. The study.evaluated the TST results of 106 patients who had a positive Quantiferon test and were suspected of having tuberculosis. Results: The study.included 581 patients aged between 4 and 19 y.ars. Of these, 106 patients tested positive for the Quantiferon test, while 19 were indeterminate and 456 were negative. The Quantiferon test positivity.rate was 18.24%. Among the 106 QFT-Plus-positive cases, 23 patients also tested positive for TST. The difference in distribution was found to be statistically.significant. Conclusion: The QFT-Plus test is considered an alternative to TST and other microbiological diagnostic methods for early.tuberculosis diagnosis, particularly.in children and adolescents.

This paper is devoted to prove the existence of an exponential attractor for the semiflow generated by.a nonlinear Boussinesq equation. We formulate the Boussinesq equation as an abstract equation in the Hilbert space H0^2（0, 1） × L^2（0, 1）. The main step in this research is to show that there exists an absorbing set for the solution semiflow in the Hilbert space H0^3（0, 1） × H0^1（0, 1）.

不同温升水平下中国极端高温预警指标的变化

高温预警指标是气象部门发布高温警告的重要标准,是用来指导社会生产生活的重要科学依据,但目前结合全球变暖不同温升水平和高温预警指标变化的研究还很少.本文利用中国2419个站点均一化观测和国际耦合模式比较计划第六阶段(CMIP6)模式资料,分析了历史时期高温预警指标变化并评估了模式模拟性能,再基于年循环偏差订正方法预估了未来高温预警指标变化.结果表明:1961年以来,中国日最高气温大于等于35℃和40℃的高温日数增加,高温季节延长,高温强度增强,受高温影响的范围扩大. 2022年, 40℃高温突增,中国东部高温日数增加约2天,高温季节延长超过5天.新一代气候模式在历史时期低估了35℃高温日数和季节长度以及高温强度,而40℃高温日数和季节长度由于出现少,模式和观测结果差别不大.未来预估结果显示, 35℃和40℃高温日数、季节长度在偏差订正后的增加趋势更明显,说明这些指标的增加比原始预期更严重.随着全球变暖,未来高温日数和季节长度呈非线性增加,高温强度以基本线性的速率增强,全球气温上升1℃,高温强度上升约1.4℃.全球变暖程度越高,高温影响范围越大,高温中心位于中国东部和西北.在全球温升5℃时,中国部分区域一年中大部分时间都可能出现极端高温,如华北和长江流域的40℃高温日数会增加约32天,季节长度会延长约100天.

We report experimental realization of a quantum version of Maxwell＇s demon using solid state spins where the information acquiring and feedback operations by.the demon are achieved through conditional quantum gates.A unique feature of this implementation is that the demon can start in a quantum superposition state or in an entangled state with an ancilla observer. Through quantum state tomography. we measure the entropy.in the sy.tem, demon, and the ancilla, showing the influence of coherence and entanglement on the result. A quantum implementation of Maxwell＇s demon adds more controllability.to this paradoxical thermal machine and may.find applications in quantum thermody.amics involving microscopic sy.tems.
