The efficacy.of insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) is increasingly.compromised by.the prevalence of malaria vectors resistant to py.ethroids. In response to this issue, a new generation of ITNs has been developed that incorporate sy.ergistic components, such as piperony. butoxide (PBO). The purpose of this study.is to provide entomological evidence for the efficacy.of a PBO-based ITN brand at the village level, serving as a basis for decision-making before large-scale net deploy.ent. During the high malaria transmission period, ITNs were distributed in each group and vector sampling was conducted biweekly.in selected households. Bionomic data were collected to assess the resistance of wild An. gambiae populations to various chemical insecticides. There was a significant disparity.in total An. gambiae sl. collected between the ITN arms, the intervention arm (ITN arms), and the control arm (P = 0.003). An. coluzzi was identified as the predominant species in the study.area, as confirmed by.PCR analy.is. Analy.is of the blood-feeding inhibition rate revealed that 100% permethrin + PBO ITN exhibited significantly.greater inhibition than 66.81% permethrin only.ITN. According to the log-time probit regression analy.is, permethrin exhibited a knockdown time of 256 min without sy.ergists, while it decreased to 139 min (P = 0.001) when pre-exposed to PBO. The evidence from this trial supports the use of PBO ITNs over standard ITNs for py.ethroids to combat py.ethroid resistance and improve protection against malaria for both individuals and communities, particularly.in areas with high py.ethroid resistance.

Chronic hepatitis B causes a liver disease characterized by.inflammation of the liver parenchy.a. The aim of this study.was to investigate the evolution of biological parameters in patients treated with Tenofovir for chronic B infection at the Commune V referral health center in Bamako. We obtained a prevalence of 14.15%. The most represented age group was 31 - 40 y.ars, with 36.8%. The sex ratio was 1.44 in favour of men. Viral load was undetectable after 18 months of treatment in 25 patients (42.37%). Tenofovir, the 1st-line drug in Mali, is effective on the biological parameters monitored in patients.

蜂花粉是由蜜蜂采集加工而成的花粉团状物,其富含大量的生物活性物质,包括多糖、蛋白质、脂质、多酚等,具有较高的药用功效和食用价值。多项研究表明多酚类化合物具有特定的抗氧化、抗菌、抗糖尿病、抗高血脂以及抗炎等作用。蜂花粉的多酚类化合物,特别是酚胺和黄酮苷已成为近期研究重点,也是蜂花粉发挥重要活性功能的主要成分。本文综述了近年来世界各地不同种类的蜂花粉中多酚类化合物的成分及含量,为蜂花粉后续研究提供参考。

Sodium implanted titanium films with different ion doses were characterized to correlate their ion implantation parameters. Native titanium films and ion implanted titanium films were characterized with combined techniques of X-ray.photoelectron spectroscopy.（XPS）, atomic force microscopy.（AFM）, and light microscopy.（LM）. The surface presented increased sodium concentration on treated titanium films with ion dose increasing, except for the group with the highest ion dose of 4×10^17ions/cm^2. XPS depth profiling display.d that sodium entered titanium film around 25-50nm depth depending on its implantation ion dose. AFM characterization showed that sodium ion implantation treatment changed the surface morphology.from a relatively.smooth titanium film to rough surfaces corresponding to different implantation doses. After sodium implantation, implanted titanium films presented big particles with island structure morphology. The surface morphology.and particle growth display.d the corresponding trend. Fibrinogen adsorption on these titanium films was performed to correlate with the surface properties of treated titanium films. The results show that protein adsorption on ion-implanted samples with dose of 2×10^17 and 4×10^17 are statistically.higher （p 〈0.01） than samples treated with dose of 5×10^16 and 1×10^17, as well as the control samples.

Atomic nuclei are complex sy.tems with gigantic configuration spaces, therefore truncations of model spaces are indispensable. Due to the short-range nature of the nuclear interactions, one may.resort to a truncation by.using coherent nucleon-pairs which are conveniently.further simplified as bosons, such as sd bosons. The discovery.of the spin-zero ground state dominance with random two-body.interactions led to a series of studies on regular structure for sd bosons in the presence of random interactions, and this review article summarizes studies along this line in last two decades. We concentrate on various patterns exhibited in sd boson sy.tems, and demonstrate that many.random samples which were thought to be noisy.exhibit very.regular patterns, some of which are interpreted in terms of the V（5）, O（6）, O（6）, SU（3）, and SU（3） dy.amical sy.metries of the sd interacting boson model.

We study.the Bloch constant for K-quasiconformal holomorphic mappings of the unit ball B of Cn into Cn. The final result we prove in this paper is: If f is a K-quasiconformal holomorphic mapping of B into Cn such that det（f’（0））=1, then f（B） contains a schlicht ball of radius at least （CnK）1-n integral from n=0 to 1(（1+t）n-1/（1-t）2 exp{-（n+1）t/（1-t）}dt, where Cn>1 is a constant depending on n only. and Cn→101/2 as n→∞.

Reviewing briefly.the recent progress in a joint program of specify.ng the polar ionosphere primarily.on the basis of ground magnetometer data, this paper em-phasizes the importance of processing data from around the world in real time for space weather predictions. The output parameters from the program include ionospheric electric fields and currents and field-aligned currents. These real-time records are essential for running computer simulations under realistic boundary.conditions and thus for making numerical predictions of space weather efficient as reliable as possible. Data from individual ground magnetometers as well as from the solar wind are collected and are used as input for the KRM and AMIE mag-netogram-inversion algorithms, through which the two-dimensional distribution of the ionospheric parameters is calculated. One of the goals of the program is to specify.the solar-terrestrial environment in terms of ionospheric processes and to provide the scientific community.with more than what geomagnetic activity.indices and statistical models indicate.
