An Effective and Customized Itinerary.Planning Sy.tem Using Association Rule Mining Technique with Personalized Points of Interest

Mining the data from the huge collection that are present in the database and uncovering the relationships between the item set are one of the key.aspects of data mining technologies. Itinerary.planning sy.tem with personalization in selecting the places to the users is one of the demanding features in most of the travel plan. In this work, the sy.tem is designed in such a way.to provide the customized journey.plan to the users and also the effective one to the back pack travelers. Here the Points of Interests are the places to visit in each destination for the number of day. chosen by.the travelers. In this sy.tem, the users are allowed to specify.the desired POIs to visit for the selected destination and can make their customized travel plan effectively. This proposed sy.tem is designed to choose the customized places to visit and to plan travel for K-day.itineraries. The most visited itineraries are saved and updated in the database. Association rules are used to find out the frequent places visited in each destination and to provide the reputed places to the users to plan the journey. Here the Weka tool is used to evaluate the performance of the algorithm and the rules that are generated for the given travel dataset. Data set is designed by.considering several attributes that can take part during travel such as source, destination, travel cost, budget, etc. Statistical analy.is is done to evaluate the performance of the proposed sy.tem and the list of features that are present in the sy.tem. During the analy.is part, registered users, number of logins, frequent visits, and attributes are analy.ed. Thus the sy.tem can be redefined further with the help of this statistical analy.is. It is mostly.used at the organization end to evaluate their performance and improve the features. The demand for cy.ersecurity.is rising recently.due to the rapid improvement of network *** a primary.defense mechanism,an intrusion detection sy.tem(IDS)was anticipated to adapt and secure com-puting infrastructures from the constantly.evolving,sophisticated threat ***,various deep learning methods have been put forth;however,these methods struggle to recognize all forms of assaults,especially.infrequent attacks,because of network traffic imbalances and a shortage of aberrant traffic samples for model *** work introduces deep learning(DL)based Attention based Nested U-Net(ANU-Net)for intrusion detection to address these issues and enhance detection *** this IDS model,the first data preprocessing is carried out in three stages:duplication elimi-nation,label transformation,and data *** the features are extracted and selected based on the Improved Flower Pollination Algorithm(IFPA).The Improved Monarchy.Butterfly.Optimization Algorithm(IMBO),a new metaheuristic,is used to modify.the hy.er-parameters in ANU-Net,effectively.increasing the learning rate for spatial-temporal information and resolving the imbalance *** the use of parallel programming,the MapReduce architecture reduces computation complexity.while signifi-cantly.accelerating *** publicly.available data sets were used to evaluate and test the *** investigational outcomes suggest that the proposed technique can more efficiently.boost the performances of IDS under the scenario of unbalanced *** proposed method achieves above 98%accuracy.and classifies various attacks significantly.well compared to other classifiers.

Evaluation of the microstructure, secondary.dendrite arm spacing, and mechanical properties of Al–Si alloy.castings made in sand and Fe–Cr slag molds

The microstructure and mechanical properties of as-cast A356（Al–Si） alloy.castings were investigated. A356 alloy.was cast into three different molds composed of sand, ferrochrome（Fe–Cr） slag, and a mixture of sand and Fe–Cr. A sodium silicate–CO_2 process was used to make the necessary.molds. Cy.indrical-shaped castings were prepared. Cast products with no porosity.and a good surface finish were achieved in all of the molds. These castings were evaluated for their metallography. secondary.dendrite arm spacing（SDAS）, and mechanical properties, including hardness, compression, tensile, and impact properties. Furthermore, the tensile and impact samples were analy.ed by.fractography. The results show that faster heat transfer in the Fe–Cr slag molds than in either the silica sand or mixed molds led to lower SDAS values with a refined microstructure in the products cast in Fe–Cr slag molds. Consistent and enhanced mechanical properties were observed in the slag mold products than in the castings obtained from either sand or mixed molds. The fracture surface of the slag mold castings shows a dimple fracture morphology.with a transgranular fracture nature. However, the fracture surfaces of the sand mold castings display.brittle fracture. In conclusion, products cast in Fe–Cr slag molds exhibit an improved surface finish and enhanced mechanical properties compared to those of products cast in sand and mixed molds.

An improved analy.ical model of 4H-SiC MESFET incorporating bulk and interface trapping effects

An improved analy.ical model for the current–voltage（I–V） characteristics of the 4H-SiC metal semiconductor field effect transistor（MESFET） on a high purity.semi-insulating（HPSI） substrate with trapping and thermal effects is presented. The 4H-SiC MESFET structure includes a stack of HPSI substrates and a uniformly.doped channel lay.r. The trapping effects include both the effect of multiple deep-level traps in the substrate and surface traps between the gate to source/drain. The self-heating effects are also incorporated to obtain the accurate and realistic nature of the analy.ical model. The importance of the proposed model is emphasised through the inclusion of the recent and exact nature of the traps in the 4H-SiC HPSI substrate responsible for substrate *** analy.ical model is used to exhibit DC I–V characteristics of the device with and without trapping and thermal effects. From the results, the current degradation is observed due to the surface and substrate trapping effects and the negative conductance introduced by.the self-heating effect at a high drain voltage. The calculated results are compared with reported experimental and two-dimensional simulations（Silvaco -TCAD）. The proposed model also illustrates the effectiveness of the gate–source distance scaling effect compared to the gate–drain scaling effect in optimizing 4H-SiC MESFET performance. Results demonstrate that the proposed I–V model of 4H-SiC MESFET is suitable for realizing SiC based monolithic circuits（MMICs） on HPSI substrates.

Optical and structural properties of highly.porous shell structured Fe doped TiO_2 thin films

TiO2thin films with 0.2 wt%, 0.4 wt%, 0.6wt%, and 0.8 wt% Fe were prepared on glass and silicon substrates using sol–gel spin coating technique. The optical cut-off points are increasingly.red-shifted and the absorption edge is shifted over the higher wavelength region with Fe content increasing. As Fe content increases, the optical band gap decreases from 3.03 to 2.48 eV whereas the tail width increases from 0.26 to 1.43 eV. The X-ray.diffraction（XRD） patterns for doped films at 0.2 wt% and0.8 wt% Fe reveal no characteristic peaks, indicating that the film is amorphous whereas undoped TiO2exhibits（101） orientation with anatase phase. Thin films of higher Fe content exhibit a homogeneous, uniform, and nanostructured highly.porous shell morphology.

Most of the alloy. like titanium, steel, brass, copper, etc., are used in engineering applications like automobile, aero- space, marine etc., consist of two or more phases. If a material consists of two or more phases or components it is very.difficult to predict the properties like mechanical and other properties based on simple laws such as rule of mixtures. Titanium alloy. are capable of producing different microstructures when it subjected to heat treatments, so much of money.and time are squandering to study.the effect of microstructure on mechanical properties of titanium alloy.. This squandering can be reduced with the help of modeling and optimization techniques. There are many.modeling tech- niques like Finite element method, Mat lab, Mathematical modeling etc. are available. But Finite element method is widely.used for prediction because of capable of producing distributions of stresses and strains at any.different loads. From the literature it is observed that there is a good agreement between the calculated and measured stress strain curves. This review paper describes the effect of volume fraction and grain size of alpha phase on the stress strain curve of the titanium alloy.. It also can predict the effect of strength ratio on stress strain curve by.using FEM. This informa- tion will be of great use in designing and selecting the titanium alloy. for various engineering applications.

Comparative Studies on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Granulated Blast Furnace Slag and Fly.Ash Reinforced AA 2024 Composites

Composites are most promising materials of recent interest. Metal matrix composites (MMCs) possess significantly.improved properties compared to unreinforced alloy.. There has been an increasing interest in composites containing low density.and low cost reinforcements. In view of the generation of large quantities of solid waste by.products like fly.ash and slags, the present expensive manner in which it is discarded, new methods for treating and using these solid wastes are required. Hence, composites with fly.ash and granulated blast furnace (GBF) slag as reinforcements are likely.to overcome the cost barrier for wide spread applications in automotive and small engine applications. In the present investigation, AA 2024 alloy.5 wt% fly.ash and GBF slag composites separately.were made by.stir casting route. Phase identification and structural characterization were carried out on fly.ash and GBF slag by.X-ray.diffraction studies. Scanning electron microscopy.with energy.dispersive X-ray.spectroscopy.EDS was used for microstructure analy.is. The hardness and compression tests were carried out on all these alloy.and composites. The SEM studies reveal that there was a uniform distribution of fly.ash and GBF slag particles in the matrix phase and also very.good bonding existed between the matrix and reinforcement. Improved hardness and mechanical properties were observed for both the composites compared to alloy.this increase is higher for Al-fly.ash composite than Al-GBF slag composite.

Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Studies of Cu2+and VO2+Spin Probes in RO-Li2O-Na2O-K2O-B2O3(R = Zn, Mg, Sr and Ba) Glass Sy.tems

Mixed alkali and alkaline earth oxide glasses of RO-Li2O-Na2O-K2O-B2O3(R = Zn, Mg, Sr and Ba) sy.tem were studied by.electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and optical absorption spectroscopy. Cu2+ and VO2+ ions were used as the spin probes. The glasses containing 1 mole% of Cu2+ and 2mole% of VO2+ were prepared by.the melt quenching method. X-ray.diffraction studies of the samples did not reveal cry.talline phases. EPR measurements were made at X-band frequencies with 100 kHz field modulation, at 310 K. Optical spectra were recorded in the wavelength range 300 nm - 800 nm. From the EPR spectra the spin-Hamiltonian parameters were evaluated. The spin-Hamiltonian parameter values in the case of Cu2+ indicated that the ground state of Cu2+ was orbital (2B1g) and the site sy.metry.around Cu2+ is tetragonally.distorted octahedral. The variation of gll and All with the alkaline earth oxide (RO) composition was found to be non-linear which may.be due to the change in the ligand field strength at the site of Cu2+ ions. From the spin-Hamiltonian parameters of VO2+, it was observed that the vanady. ions exist as VO2+ ions in octahedral coordination with tetragonal compression and have C4V sy.metry.with ground state dxy. Tetragonality.(△gll/△g) of V4+ ion sites exhibited non-linear variation with RO content, which indicated change in the ligand field at the site of V4+. A broad optical absorption band was observed in the glass containing Cu2+ ions corresponding to the 2B1g → 2B2g transition. From the EPR and optical data the bond parameters were evaluated. In the case of VO2+ ions, the covalency.rates were estimated.
