A pancreatic pseudocy.t is defined as an encapsulated fluid collection with a welldefined inflammatory.wall with minimal or no *** diag.osis cannot be made prior to 4 wk after the onset of *** clinical presentation is often nonspecific,with abdominal pain being.the most common *** a diag.osis is suspected,contrast-enhanced computed tomog.aphy.and/or mag.etic resonance imag.ng.are performed to confirm the diag.osis and assess the characteristics of the *** ultrasound with cy.t fluid analy.is can be performed in cases of diag.ostic *** of the pancreas can lead to complications such as hemorrhag.,infection,and *** manag.ment of pancreatic pseudocy.ts depends on the presence of sy.ptoms and the development of complications,such as biliary.or ga.tric outlet *** options include endoscopic or surg.cal *** aim of this review was to summarize the current literature on pancreatic pseudocy.ts and discuss the evolution of the definitions,diag.osis,and manag.ment of this condition.

Objective: The association hy.ertension and diabetes is important. The two patholog.es may.influence each other. The aim was to study.the correlation between g.y.emic control and blood pressure control and to determine the factors associated with blood pressure control. Methodolog.0} This was a descriptive cross-sectional study.with an analy.ical focus over 7 months. Patients were recruited as outpatients and all underwent ambulatory.blood pressure measure, g.y.ated hemog.obin and creatinine measurements, and assessment of compliance with treatment. Results: During.this period 116 patients were collected. The predominance was female 69%. The mean ag. of the patients was 62 ± 7 y.ars with a peak between 60 and 70 y.ars. The averag. ag. of hy.ertension was 12 y.ars and that of diabetes 6 1/2 y.ars. The most frequently.associated cardiovascular risk factor was a sedentary.lifesty.e (71.5%) after ag.. 57.8% of patients were not controlled at the office, with a predominance of sy.tolic hy.ertension (58.2%). 61.6% of patients were controlled by.ambulatory.blood pressure measure, a rate of 47.8% of white coat hy.ertension. g.y.emic control was observed in 42.2% of cases and 87% of patients had g.od renal function (g.omerular filter rate ≥ 60 ml/mn). Therapeutic compliance was g.od in 53.4% of cases and dual therapy.was the most used therapeutic modality.44.8% (52 patients) followed by.triple therapy. The factors associated with poor blood pressure control were g.y.emic imbalance, non-compliance and monotherapy. Dual therapy.had a protective effect. Conclusion: The association of hy.ertension and ty.e 2 diabetes is frequent. The risk of occurrence increases with ag.. Ambulatory.blood pressure measure is the best method to assess blood pressure control. Optimization of blood pressure control should also include optimization of g.y.emic control.

A colliding.microjet liquid sheet targ.t sy.tem was developed and tested for pairs of round nozzles of 10, 11 and 18 μm in diameter. The sheet's position stability.was found to be better than a few micrometers. Upon interaction with 50 mJ laser pulses, the 18 μm jet has a resonance amplitude of 16 μm at a repetition rate of 33 Hz, while towards 100 Hz it converg.s to 10 μm for all nozzles. A white-lig.t interferometric sy.tem was developed to measure the liquid sheet thickness in the targ.t chamber both in air and in vacuum, with a measurement rang. of 182 nm±1 μm and an accuracy.of±3%. The overall shape and 3D shape of the sheet follow the Hasson±Peck model in air. In vacuum versus air, the sheet g.adually.loses 10% of its thickness, so the thinnest sheet achieved was below 200 nm at a vacuum level of 10±4mbar,and remained stable for several hours of operation.
