BACKGROUND The classification of uterine sarcomas is based on distinctive morphological and immunophenoty.ic characteristics,increasingly.supported by.molecular genetic *** on neurotrophic ty.osine receptor kinase(NTRK)gene fusionpositive uterine sarcoma,potentially.aggressive and morphologically.similar to fibrosarcoma,are limited due to its recent ***-TRK immunohistochemistry.IHC)analy.is serves as an effective screening tool with high sensitivity.and specificity.for NTRK-fusion *** SUMMARy.We report a case of a malignant mesenchy.al tumor originating from the uterine cervix,which was pan-TRK IHC-positive but lacked NTRK gene fusions,accompanied by.a brief literature review.A 55-y.ar-old woman presented to the emergency.department with abdominal pain and distension,exhibiting significant ascites and multiple solid pelvic *** examination revealed a tumor encompassing the uterine cervix,extending to the vagina and uterine corpus.A punch biopsy.of the cervix indicated NTRK sarcoma with positive immunochemical pan-TRK ***,subsequent next generation sequencing revealed no NTRK gene fusion,leading to a diagnosis of poorly.differentiated,advanced-stage *** The clinical significance of NTRK gene fusion lies in potential treatment with TRK inhibitors for positive *** such rare tumors is crucial due to the potential applicability.of tropomy.sin receptor kinase inhibitor treatment.

Annual effective dose values from^137Cs activity.concentrations in soils of Manisa,Turkey

In this study.the activity.concentrations of the fallout radionuclide ^(137(Cs in 150 soil samples collected from 13 districts of Manisa Province were determined using a gamma ray.spectrometer with a Na I(Tl) *** health risks to people resulting from external exposure were evaluated by.estimating the outdoor absorbed gamma dose rate and annual effective dose rate(outdoor and indoor).The activity.concentration of ^(137)Cs varied from 3.6 ± 2.0 to 124.1 ± 11.0 Bq kg^(-1),with an average value of43.3 Bq kg^(-1).The average values of the outdoor absorbed gamma dose rate and annual effective dose(outdoor plus indoor) were found to be 1.3 n Gy.h^(-1),and 8.0 μSv y.(-1),(6.38 + 1.59 μSv y.(-1)),*** results were compared with internationally.recommended values.

The aim of this work is to investigate the mechanical properties and microstructures of friction-stir welded(FSWed) St52 structural steel joints. In this study. St52 steel plates with a thickness of 4 mm were butt-welded by.friction-stir welding(FSW) using a tungsten carbide tool having a conical pin. The microstructure of the welded zone consists of equiaxed fine ferrite, grain boundary.ferrite, Widmanstatten ferrite, and aggregates of ferrite + cementite. The microhardness measurements showed that the hardness of the welded zone was significantly.higher than that of the base metal. The FSWed St52 joint exhibited a significant strength overmatching in the weld region and a strength performance similar to or slightly.higher than that of the base plate.

Euphorbia tirucalli L.:Review on morphology.medicinal uses,phy.ochemistry.and pharmacological activities

The intention of current review is to make available up-to-date information on morphology. ecological biodiversity. medicinal uses, phy.ochemistry.and pharmacolog-ical activities on different parts of Euphorbia tirucalli (E. tirucalli). This plant has a number of medicinal uses. Latex of E. tirucalli is vesicant and rubefacient which is used for rheumatism, warts, cough, asthma, ear-ache, tooth-ache and neuralgia. It acts as a purgative in small doses while in big doses it is bitter irritant and emetic. Milky.juice is alexiteric, carminative and purgative. It is useful in whooping cough, gonorrhea, asthma, leprosy. dropsy. dy.pepsia, enlargement of spleen, colic, jaundice and stone in bladder. The fresh milky.juice is good alternative in sy.hilis and a good application in neuralgia. A decoction of branches is used in gastralgia and colic. Bark is used in treatment of fractures. Poultices prepared from the stem are useful to repair the broken bones. Boiled root liquid acts as an emetic in cases of snake-bite and for infertility.in women. The wood is used for rafters, toy. and veneering purposes. It is also useful against leprosy.and foot paraly.is subsequent to childbirth. Determination of ^(210)Po and ^(210)Pb depositions in lichen and soil samples collected from K?prüba??-Manisa,Turkey

üIn this study. we aimed to determine the accumulations of ^(210) Po and ^(210) Pb in soil and lichen samples in K? prü bas??. The K? prü bas?? district is home to the largest uranium deposits in Turkey. To date, there has been no study.recorded in the literature related to ^(210) Po and ^(210) Pb depositions in lichens in K? prü bas??. Six different lichen species(Cladonia convoluta, Parmelina tiliacea, Phy.cia stellaris, Pleurosticta acetabulum, Xanthoparmelia conspersa, and Xanthoria parietina) as well as soil samples were collected from seven sampling locations around K? prü bas??. Lichens were used as biomonitors for ^(210) Po and ^(210) Pb deposition. The ^(210) Po and ^(210) Pb activity.concentrations were measured in all the samples by.alpha spectrometry. The activity.concentrations in the lichen samples ranged from 64 to 577 Bq kg^(-1) with an average of 266 Bq kg^(-1) for ^(210) Po and from 78 to 565 Bq kg^(-1) with an average of 333 Bq kg^(-1) for ^(210) Pb. The activity.ratios of ^(210) Po/ ^(210) Pb ranged from 0.80 to 1.99. In the lichen species,the mean ^(210) Po activity.values varied from 154 Bq kg^(-1) in Pleurosticta acetabulum to 390 Bq kg^(-1) in Xanthoparmelia conspersa. The range of the mean ^(210) Pb activity.was between 153 Bq kg^(-1) in Cladonia convoluta and 378 Bq kg^(-1) in Parmelina tiliacea. In the soil samples, ^(210) Po and ^(210) Pb activity.concentrations were ranged from14 to 1268 Bq kg^(-1) and from 19 to 1113 Bq kg^(-1),respectively. While the values of ^(210) Po and ^(210) Pb measured in the lichen samples are comparable with those of the literature, the results of ^(210) Po and ^(210) Pb in the soil taken from the uranium mine are higher than the results of the literature studies.
