Vertical drains are used to accelerate consolidation of clay. in ground improvement *** zones exist around these drains,where permeability.is reduced due to soil disturbance caused by.the installation *** solution is widely.used in practice to consider the effects of drain discharge capacity.and smear on the consolidation *** this study.a computationally.efficient diameter reduction method(DRM)obtained from the Hansbo solution is proposed to consider the smear effect without the need to model the smear zone *** by.analy.ical and numerical results,a diameter reduction factor is analy.ically.derived to reduce the diameter of the drain,while achieving similar solutions of pore pressure dissipation profile as the classical full model of the smear zone and *** the DRM,the excess pore pressure u obtained from the reduced drain in the original un-disturbed soil zone is accurate enough for practical applications in numerical *** performance of DRM is independent of soil material *** also show equally.accurate performance of DRM under conditions of multi-lay.red soils and coupled radial-vertical groundwater flow.

The Ananthakrishna model, seeking to explain the Portevin-Le Chatelier effect, is studied with or without non-sy.chronous perturbations. For the unperturbed model, Bogdanov-Takens bifurcation and zeroHopf bifurcation are detected. For the perturbed model, rich dy.amical behaviors are given by.researching the Poincaré map, including solutions of different periods, quasi-periodic solutions, chaotic solutions, and ***, an augmented temperature-dependent perturbation amplitude induces a transition from non-serrated to serrated flow on the stress-time curve. Notably. on the stress-strain curve, the phenomenon of repeated y.elding diminishes with an increase in the value of a temperature-dependent parameter, while it persists with an increase in the value of a temperature-independent parameter. Sensitivity.analy.is sheds light on the factors exerting the most significant influence on dislocation density.

We present radial velocity.RV） curve templates of RR Ly.ae first-overtone（RRc） stars constructed with the Mg I b triplet and Hα lines using time-domain Medium-Resolution Survey.spectra of seven RRc stars from Large Sky.Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope（LAMOST） Data Release 9. Additionally. we derive the relation between the stellar RV curve amplitudes and g-band light curve amplitudes from Zwicky.Transient Facility.ZTF）public survey. For those RRc stars without ZTF g-band light curves, we provide the conversions from the light curve amplitudes in ZTF r-and i-bands, Gaia G-band, and V-band from the All-Sky.Automated Survey.for Supernovae to those in ZTF g-band. We validate our RV curve templates using the RRc star SV Scl and find the uncertainties of sy.temic RV are less than 2.11 km s-1and 6.08 km s-1based on the Mg I b triplet and Hα lines,respectively. We calculate the sy.temic RVs of 30 RRc stars using the RV curve templates constructed with the Mg I b triplet and Hα lines and find the sy.temic RVs are comparable with each other. This RV curve template will be particularly.useful for obtaining the sy.temic RV of RRc using the LAMOST spectroscopy.
