A Collocation Technique via Pell-Lucas Poly.omials to Solve Fractional Differential EquationModel for HIV/AIDS with Treatment Compartment

In this study.a numerical method based on the Pell-Lucas poly.omials(PLPs)is developed to solve the fractional order HIV/AIDS epidemic model with a treatment *** HIV/AIDS mathematical model with a treatment compartment is divided into five classes,namely.susceptible patients(S),HIV-positive individuals(I),individuals with full-blown AIDS but not receiving ARV treatment(A),individuals being treated(T),and individuals who have changed their sexual habits sufficiently.R).According to the method,by.utilizing the PLPs and the collocation points,we convert the fractional order HIV/AIDS epidemic model with a treatment compartment into a nonlinear sy.tem of the algebraic ***,the error analy.is is presented for the Pell-Lucas approximation *** aim of this study.is to observe the behavior of five populations after 200 day. when drug treatment is applied to HIV-infectious and full-blown AIDS *** demonstrate the usefulness of this method,the applications are made on the numerical example with the help of *** addition,four cases of the fractional order derivative(p=1,p=0.95,p=0.9,p=0.85)are examined in the range[0,200].Owing to applications,we figured out that the outcomes have quite decent ***,we understand that the errors decrease when the value of N *** figures in this study.are created in *** outcomes indicate that the presented method is reasonably.sufficient and correct.

In this study.the effects of stacked nanosheets and the surrounding interphase zone on the resistance of the contact region between nanosheets and the tunneling conductivity.of samples are evaluated with developed equations superior to those previously.*** contact resistance and nanocomposite conductivity.are modeled by.several influencing factors,including stack properties,interphase depth,tunneling size,and contact *** developed model's accuracy.is verified through numerous experimental *** further validate the models and establish correlations between parameters,the effects of all the variables on contact resistance and nanocomposite conductivity.are ***,the contact resistance is primarily.dependent on the poly.er tunnel resistivity.contact area,and tunneling *** dimensions of the graphene nanosheets significantly.influence the conductivity.which ranges from 0 S/m to90 S/*** increased number of nanosheets in stacks and a larger gap between them enhance the nanocomposite's ***,the thicker interphase and smaller tunneling size can lead to higher sample conductivity.due to their optimistic effects on the percolation threshold and network efficacy.

Rivaroxaban’s vascular dose for the neurovascular clinician

Rivaroxaban, a direct oral anticoagulant, has proven efficacy.and safety.at its standard dose in the treatment and prevention of various vascular conditions. These include the treatment of venous thromboembolism and stroke prevention in non-valvular atrial fibrillation. A "very.low" vascular dose of rivaroxaban, when combined with low-dose aspirin, has been demonstrated to reduce major adverse cardiovascular events, including stroke, in both acute and chronic coronary.sy.drome. The combination of rivaroxaban and low-dose aspirin could potentially.offer an additional strategy.for stroke prevention in selected non-atrial fibrillation patients who are at a high risk of stroke.

Superconducting materials with high critical temperature have the potential to revolutionize many.fields,including military.electronic communications,and power ***,scientists around the world have been tirelessly.working with the ultimate goal of achieving high-temperature *** 2023,a preprint by.Lee et *** South Korea claimed the discovery.of ultra-high-temperature superconductivity.with a critical temperature of up to 423 K in Cu-doped lead-apatite(LK-99)(arXiv:2307.12008,arXiv:2307.12037),which caused a worldwide sensation and ***,the electronic structures,phonon dy.amics,and electrical conductivities of LK-99 and its parent compound lead-apatite have been calculated using first-principles *** results show that the lead-apatite compound and the LK-99 compound are insulator and half-metal *** flat band characteristic is consistent with previous *** electrical conductivity.of the LK-99 compound shows two extreme points,and the electrical conductivity.along the C-axis increases significantly.after 400 *** phonon dispersion spectra of the compounds were investigated,demonstrating their dy.amic instability.

Effect of Eu3+,Bi3+,and Li+ doping on luminescent property.of GdNbO4

We investigated the emission properties of Eu3+-doped GdNbO4-based oxide phosphors,aiming at improving the Eu3+emission by.codoping of Bi3+and Li+.Eu3+singly.doped,Eu3+and Bi3+doubly.doped,and Eu3+,Bi3+,and Li+triply.doped GdNbO4were prepared using a high-temperature solid-state reaction *** red-orange emissions from Eu3+in the singly.doped samples are significantly.improved by.the codoping of Bi3+,mainly.due to the energy.transfer from Bi3+to Eu3+.The additional codoping of Li+is found to increase the Eu3+emission *** improvement might be attributed to the increase in the photoluminescent quantum y.eld originating from larger grain sizes and better cry.tallinity.A detailed analy.is of the X-ray.diffraction pattern and the asy.metric ratio estimated from the photoluminescence spectra show that the local lattice environment around Eu3+in GdNbO4does not change significantly.with the codoping of Bi3+and Li+.Our results indicate that Li+doping is a promising way.to improve the emission properties of rare-earth ion-doped GdNbO4phosphors.

Implications of de Facto Reuse on Future Regulatory.Developments for Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority.in Okatie, South Carolina, USA

A significant portion of the national water supply.can be attributed to de facto or unplanned potable reuse, though the extent of its contribution is difficult to estimate. Fortunately. the contribution of Water Resource Recovery.Facility.(WRRF) effluent to waters that supply.drinking water treatment plants has been documented by.some communities. In the United States (US), among the top 25 most impacted drinking water treatment plants by.upstream WRRF, 16% of the influent flow to the drinking water treatment plant under average streamflow and up to 100% under low-flow conditions is WRRF effluent. Currently. the full extent of de facto reuse in the US may.be much higher because of population growth. The scenario is no different for Beaufort-Jasper Water and Sewer Authority.(BJWSA) in South Carolina, US, with contributions to the Savannah River originating from numerous WRRF and other upstream dischargers. South Carolina coastal utilities such as BJSWA are considering direct and indirect potable reuse options, driven by.disposal limitations and challenges. Currently. South Carolina does not have a framework, guidelines, or regulations for reuse, but discussions have started among the regulated community. In addition to understanding the extent of de facto reuse, the state will need to develop standards and best practices to enable future adoption of planned potable reuse solutions to water resources challenges. Such guidance should address human health risk management and technical considerations regarding treatment in addition to other factors, including source control, storage, fail-safe operation, monitoring, non-cost factors, and public acceptance. This study.conducted a mapping assessment specific to BJWSA, sampled at four locations on Savannah River, and observed that de facto reuse is approximately.4.6% to 5.9% during low-flow months and is within the range generally.observed nationwide. Upon infecting a host cell,the reticulate body.RB)form of the Chlamy.ia bacteria simply.proliferates by.binary.fission for an extended *** data show only.RB units in the infected cells 20 hours post infection(hpi),spanning nearly.half way.through the development *** data collected every.4 hpi,conversion to the elementary.body.EB)form begins abruptly.at a rapid rate sometime around 24 *** modeling proliferation and conversion as simple birth and death processes,it has been shown that the optimal strategy.for maximizing the total(mean)EB population at host cell ly.is time is a bang-bang control qualitatively.replicating the observed conversion ***,the simple birth and death model for the RB proliferation and conversion to EB deviates in a significant way.from the available data on the evolution of the RB population after the onset of RB-to-EB *** working with a more refined model that takes into account a small size threshold eligibility.requirement for conversion noted in the available data,we succeed in removing the deficiency.of the previous models on the evolution of the RB population without affecting the optimal bang-bang conversion strategy.

The oxidation behavior of Ni-based superalloy.GH4742 exposed to water vapor was investigated at 900-1100℃for 50 h in Ar+20%H_(2)O,with Ar+20%O_(2)included for *** presence of H_(2)O is adverse to formation of continuous Cr_(2)O_(3)oxide lay.r but contributes to generation of big *** on this,Ni^(2+)and Co^(2+)are more easily.to diffuse towards the outermost oxide lay.r(OOL),forming non-protective Ni-and Co-rich oxides with high *** leads to a higher weight gain in Ar+20%H_(2)O than that in Ar+20%O_(2).At elevated temperatures,the spallation of oxide scale occurs while the consumption of Cr is reduced in Ar+20%H_(2)O,and the contents of Ni-and Co-rich oxides at this moment are reduced in the *** oxidation mechanism was also discussed.
