BACKGROUND Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is a complex neurodevelopmental disorder with multifaceted *** recent studies,neuroinflammation and immune dysregulation have come to the forefront in its *** are studies suggesting that stem cell therapy may be effective in the treatment of *** to evolve the landscape of ASD treatment,focusing on the potential benefits and safety of stem cell *** A detailed case report is presented,displaying the positive outcomes observed in a child who underwent intrathecal and intravenous Wharton’s jelly-derived mesenchymal stem cells(WJ-MSCs)transplantation combined with *** the study demonstrates a significant improvement in the child’s functional outcomes(Childhood Autism Rating Scale,Denver 2 Developmental Screening test),especially in language and gross motor *** serious side effects were encountered during the 2-year *** the findings support the safety and effectiveness of WJ-MSC transplantation in managing ASD.

Natural and artificial chiral materials such as deoxyribonucleic acid （DNA）, chromatin fibers, flagellar filaments, chiral nanotubes, and chiral lattice materials widely exist. Due to the chirality of intricately helical or twisted microstructures, such materials hold great promise for use in diverse applications in smart sensors and actuators, force probes in biomedical engineering, structural elements for absorption of microwaves and elastic waves, etc. In this paper, a timoshenko beam model for chiral materials is developed based on noncentrosymmetric micropolar elasticity theory. the governing equations and boundary conditions for a chiral beam problem are derived using the variational method and Hamilton＇s principle. the static bending and free vibration problem of a chiral beam are investigated using the proposed model. It is found that chirality can significantly affect the mechanical behavior of beams, making materials more flexible compared with nonchiral counterparts, inducing coupled twisting deformation, relatively larger deflection, and lower natural frequency. this study is helpful not only for understanding the mechanical behavior of chiral materials such as DNA and chromatin fibers and characterizing their mechanical properties, but also for the design of hierarchically structured chiral materials.

Laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)yields unique advantages during the fabrication of titanium *** the present work,ti-6.5 Al-3.5 Mo-1.5 Zr-0.3 Si alloy specimens with excellent mechanical performances were fabricated by *** as-built specimens displayed relatively high strength and ductility under modest volume energy densities(VEDs),whereas they manifested high strength with low ductility under high *** investigate the key reason of this phenomenon,the specimens were designed with two VEDs ranges of 60 J/mm^(3) and 85 J/mm^(3).Special attention was paid to the influences of residual stress and micro-deformation on microstructures and mechanical properties for the first *** results indicated that the residual stresses and relative density of the 60 J/mm^(3) range specimens were higher than that of the 85 J/mm3 range *** multiplication and dislocation movement promoted by the residual stress were hindered by the initialα’phase grain boundary(prior-α’GB),leading to the formation ofα’metastable *** mean tensile strength and elongation of the 60 J/mm^(3) range specimens were 1248.1 MPa and 12.3%,respectively,whereas the corresponding values for the 85 J/mm^(3) range specimens were 1405.3 MPa,5.0%,*** deformation,the strength and ductility of the specimens were first improved by lamellar structures generated from prior-α’phases,and then effectively enhanced by the interaction between the{10–12}twins and ***,pores significantly reduced the ductility;hence,high VED specimens with large twins and numerous large pores increased the strength and reduce the ductility.

A new apparatus, with a segregable conical water cooling condenser, which is heated by an electric arc using the evaporation-condensation method to prepare carbon-coated nanopowder, has been developed by the authors. Numerical simulation of the temperature field is done by the ANSyS software, and temperature in the reaction vessel is measured with the help of an experiment, to verify the simulation result. Influence of the temperature field in the reaction vessel, on the process of preparing nanopowder is then discussed simply. It is shown that the segregable conical water cooling condenser and carbon-coated surface process can be used to prepare steady carbon-coated metal nanopowder, at a lower cost and higher yield rate than the traditional structure. Simulation of the temperature field in the apparatus shows that the arc heating method can form a temperature field in the apparatus, which is quite favorable for nanopowder formation. Experiments show that the rational parameters using this apparatus, with the arc heating method to prepare carbon-coated nanopowder are electricity 60-100 A and arc length 5-8 mm.

Ce is prone to catastrophic oxidation at room temperature and its oxidation resistance is difficult to be improved by ***,we found that the oxidation resistance of active metal Ce can be significantly improved by the addition of 20 at.%*** ion beam lift-out technique and scanning transmission electron microscopy analysis disclosed that a discontinuous Ga-rich layer was generated beneath the oxide layer in the coarse-grained Ce-Ga *** Ga-rich layer formed by selective oxidation of Ce acts as a diffusion barrier for Ce outward diffusion and ceases the O/M interfacial reaction when a critical concentration of Ga(75 at.%)is *** nanocrystallization,uniform distribution of Ga was *** oxidation,a relatively continuous Ga-rich layer was formed which further enhanced the oxidation *** introduction of noble elements combining with nanocrystallization may provide a novel strategy for the protection of metals with high activity and poor oxidation resistance.

A model considering quantitative effects of diffused carbon and nitrogen gradients and kinetics of phase transformation is presented to examine metallo-thermo-mechanical behavior during carburized and nitrided quenching. Coupled simulation of diffusion, phase transformation and stress/strain provides the final distribution of carbon and nitrogen contents as well as residual stress and distortion. Effects of both transformation and lattice expansion induced by carbon and nitrogen absorption were introduced into calculating the evolution of the internal stress and strain. In order to verify the method and the results, the simulated distributions of carbon and nitrogen content and residual stress/strain of a ring model during carburized and nitrided quenching were compared with the measured data.

Microstructural stability of a nickel base single crystal alloy DD8 has been *** heat treated specimen showed good microstructural stability at 950℃.While under the as-cast condition,a kind of rod-like phase precipitated in the interdendritic region of as-cast specimen during thermal *** phase,which has bcc structure,was enriched with ***-calc also predicted precipitation of a bcc phase at around 950℃.the Cr-rich bcc phase was considered asα-Cr and formed due to the segregation of Cr under the as-cast condition.
