In this study,the workability of cement-based grouts containing n-TiO 2 nanoparticles and fly ash has been investigated *** characteristic quantities(including,but not limited to,the marsh cone flow time,the mini slump spreading diameter and the plate cohesion meter value)have been measured for different percentages of these *** use of fly ash as a mineral additive has been found to result in improvements in terms of workability behavior as ***,if nano titanium oxide is also used,an improvement can be obtained regarding the bleeding values for the cement-based grout *** such experimental data,a multi-layer perceptron artificial neural network model has been developed(5 neurons in the hidden layer of the network model have been developed using a total of 42 experimental data).70%of the data employed in this model have been used for training,15%for validation and 15%for the test *** results demonstrate that the artificial neural network model can predict marsh cone flow time,mini slump spreading diameter and plate cohesion meter values with an average error of 0.15%.

Neotethyan Ophiolites and Their Geodynamic Evolution During the mesozoic: A Global Overview

Neotethyan ophiolites evolved in multiple seaways separated by Gondwana–derived ribbon continents within an eastward widening, latitudinal oceanic realm(Neotethys) throughout the mesozoic. Opening and closure of these seaways were diachronous events, resulting in E–W variations in the timing of oceanic crust production and ophiolite emplacement. The Neotethyan ophiolites are highly diverse in their crustal–mantle structures and compositions, isotopic fingerprints, and sedimentary cover types, pointing to major differences in their mantle melt sources and tectonic and paleogeographic settings of magmatic construction(dilek and Furnes, 2019). The Jurassic Western Alpine and Ligurian ophiolites in Europe and their counterparts in southern and northern Iberia formed in a narrow basin(Western Tethys) that developed between Europe and North Africa–Adria–Iberia. Their peridotites represent exhumed, continental lithospheric mantle, and the ophiolites display a Hess–type oceanic crustal architecture with mOrB geochemical signatures(dilek and Furnes, 2011). All these ophiolites were incorporated into continental margins from the downgoing oceanic lithosphere of the Western Tethys. Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous ophiolites east of Adria formed in different Neotethyan seaways(dilek et al., 1990), and their rift–drift, seafloor spreading and suprasubduction zone(SSZ) magmatic construction involved multiple episodes of melting, depletion and refertilization of previously or actively subduction metasomatized mantle sources. Deep mantle recycling processes through subduction zone tectonics and/or plume activities played a major role in their melt evolution, and in the incorporation of mantle transition zone(mTZ) materials into their peridotites(Fig. 1;dilek and yang, 2018;Xiong et al., 2019). The TESS light curve(LC)of the marginal contact binary A A Cet was analyzed simultaneously with the radial velocity and the orbital period(OP)change of the system was *** physical parameters of the system were obtained by analyzing the LC of A A Cet with the Wilson-Devinney method,and the absolute parameters of the components were calculated using the results *** the components of AA Cet,the masses and radii were calculated as m_(1)=1.39±0.04 m_⊙,m_(2)=0.48±0.02 m_⊙,and r_(1)=1.64±0.03 r_⊙,r_(2)=1.01±0.04 r_⊙,*** Cet is a marginal contact binary with a temperature difference of 1305 K between its components.A total of 14 eclipse times were obtained from the TESS data and used in the OP analysis together with those collected from the *** has been observed that the change in the OP of AA Cet is in the form of a decreasing *** mass transfer between the components has been interpreted as the reason for this *** OP decrease amount of A A Cet was obtained as dP/dt=0.0062±0.0006 s yr^(-1).and the reason for this decrease was attributed to a 3.3(9)×10^(-8)m_⊙.mass transfer per year from the more massive component to the less massive *** age of A A Cet has been estimated as 7 Gyr,as the age of contact systems helps us to understand their evolution.

much has been learned in the past 40 years about the great diversity of the internal structure and geochemical compositions of Phanerozoic ophiolites, indicating that these on-land fragments of ancient oceanic lithosphere formed in distinctly different tectonic settings during their igneous evolution. recent studies in Archean and Proterozoic greenstone belts have shown that the Precambrian rock record may also include exposures of a diverse suite of ophiolite complexes as part of craton development in the early history of the Earth. We review the salient features of the Precambrian ophiolite record to highlight what has been learned about Precambrian oceanic spreading systems since the original Penrose definition of ophiolites in 1972. Some of the diagnostic, characteristic, typical, and rare aspects of ophiolites of all ages are presented in a table in order to help determine if tectonically deformed and metamophosed sequences in Precambrian shield areas may be considered as ophiolites. The results of this comparative study are important in that they enable researchers to more realistically characterize allochthonous mafic/ultramafic rock sequences as ophiolitic or non-ophiolitic. This approach is more deterministic in contrast to some other arbitrary classification schemes requiring three or four of the Penrose-style ophiolitic units to be present in the Precambrian record for a specific rock sequence to be considered ophiolitic. Once these tectonic fragments are recognized as remnants of ancient oceanic lithosphere, great progress shall be made in understanding early Earth history. We discuss the significance and implications of the Precambrian ophiolite record to constrain the mode and nature of the plate tectonics that operated in deep time.

This study has been conducted with the purpose of determining the hydroelectric potential that can be utilized by Cine dam which will be constructed for irrigation, overflow control and for energy production purposes on the Cine stream (which is located as an important arm of Büyük menderes river in Turkey). The study will also compare other research conducted by various organizations. In order to determine the hydroelectric energy potential, the SImAHPP 4 (Simulate and Assess the Feasibility of Hydropower Projects) professional software has been utilized. It has been observed that the calculated hydroelectric potential conforms to energy potential calculated by other organizations such as DSI (State Hydraulic Works). Especially the turbine power, installed power, turbine design flow rate and annual energy production values in the studies have been realized with close values to the real ones. The power plant which is planned to have an average of natural streams of the past 43 years has been designed with an annual power production capacity of 210.87 GWh/year (without regulation ratio) and with installed power of 48,144 mW along with a design flow rate of 35 m3/s. As a result, since these water structures have high costs associated with them and also since they will have to be functional for many years, it will be beneficial to use various different computational methods.

In this study, the emulsion homopolymerization system containing vinyl acetate, potassium persulfate, a new cationic polymeric surfactant and water was studied by the applying semi-continuous emulsion polymerization process. The effects of new polymeric emulsifier on the physicochemical properties of obtained vinyl acetate latexes were investigated depending on vinyl acetate percentage in the polymerization recipe, and two thermal initiators in homopolymerization.

In this paper, for the purpose of measuring the non-self-centrality extent of non-self- centered graphs, a novel eccerttricity-based invariant, named as non-self-centrality number （NSC num- ber for short）, of a graph G is defined as follows： N（G） =∑vi,vj∈V（G）｜ei-ej｜ where the summation goes over all the unordered pairs of vertices in G and ei is the eccentricity of vertex vi in G, whereas the invariant will be called third Zagreb eccentricity index if the summation only goes over the adja- cent vertex pairs of graph G. In this paper, we determine the lower and upper bounds on N（G） and characterize the corresponding graphs at which the lower and upper bounds are attained. Finally we propose some attractive research topics for this new invariant of graphs.

The Steiner formula and the mixture area formula given by m(U|¨)ller were expressed under the one-parameter closed planar homothetic motions in the complex sense . Also, using the generalization of Steiner formula, the result of Holditch theorem for homothetic motions is got. In the case of the homothetic scale h≡1 the results given by m(U|¨)ller are obtained as a special case.
