In this paper, the grain boundary diffusion process（GBDP） using a Dy70Cu30（at.%） alloy as the diffusion source was performed in a commercial sintered Nd–Fe–B magnet, and the effect of heat treatment time on the microstructure and magnetic properties of the magnet was investigated in detail. For the processed magnets heat-treated at 860℃, as heat treatment time increased, the coercivity and the depth of（Nd,Dy）2Fe14B core–shell structure increased first and then decreased. however, when the heat treatment time was more than 2 h, the diffusion path of Dy from the Dy-rich shell phase into the Nd2Fe14B grains was revealed, and a nearly.h.mogeneous（Nd,Dy）2Fe14B phase was formed, which brought on the decrease in both the depth of visible core–shell structure and the coercivity of Nd–Fe–B magnet.

In this work, the previously developed coarse-grained （CG） particle models for biomembranes and red blood cells （RBCs） are reviewed, and the advantages of the CG particle methods over the continuum and atomistic simulations for modeling biological phenomena are discussed. CG particle models can largely increase the length scale and time scale of atomistic simulations by eliminating the fast degrees of freedom while preserving the mesoscopic structures and properties of the simulated system. Moreover, CG particle models can be used to capture the microstructural alternations in diseased RBCs and simulate the topological changes of biomembranes and RBCs, which are the major challenges to the typical continuum representations of membranes and RBCs. The power and versatility of CG particle methods are demonstrated：through simulating the dynamical processes mvolving significant topological .changes e.g. lipid self-assembly vesicle fusion and membrane budding.

AIM：To determine the effects of Rutin on methanol induced optic neuropathy and compare the results with the effects of ***：Totally 30 rats were divided into 5 groups,with 6 rats in each group as follows：healthy controls（C）,methotrexate（MTX）,methotrexate＋methanol（MTM）,methotrexate＋methanol＋ethanol（MTME） and methotrexate＋ methanol＋Rutin（MTMR）.In all rabbits except those of the control group,MTX,diluted in sterile serum physiologic,0.3 mg/kg per oral was applied for 7 d by the aid of a *** this procedure to the rats of MTM,MTME and MTMR groups,20% methanol with a dose of 3 g/kg per oral was given by the aid of a *** MTME group,4 h after the application of methanol,20% ethanol was applied by the same way with a dose of 0.5 g/*** the other hand,in MTMR group 4 h after the application of methanol,Rutin,which was dissolved in distilled water,was applied by the same way with a dose of 50 mg/***：There were statistically significant differences in tissue 8-hydroxy-2 deoxyguanine（8-OhdG）,interleukin-1β（IL-1β）,tumor necrosis factor-alpha（TNF-α）,malondialdehyde（MDA）,myeloperoxidase（MPO）.glutathione peroxidase（t GSh） and superoxide dismutase（SOD） levels between groups（P〈0.001）.In MTMR group tissue 8-OhdG,IL-1β,MDA,and MPO levels were similar with the healthy controls but significantly different than the other *** histopathological evaluations,in MTX group there was moderate focal destruction,hemorrhage and decrease innumber of astrocytes and oligodendrocytes;in MTM group there was severe destruction and edema with decrease in number of astrocytes and oligodendrocytes;in MTME group there was mild hemorrhage,mild edema,mildly dilated blood vessels with congestion while in MTMR group,optic nerve tissue was resembling the healthy ***：Rutin may prevent methanol-induced optic neuropathy via anti-inflammatory effects and decreasing the oxidative *** treatment options are warranted in this disease to avoid loss of vision in pat

A new technology-rotationally accelerated shot peening（RASP）, was developed to prepare gradient structured materials. By using centrifugal acceleration principle and large steel balls, the RASP technology can produce much higher impact energy compared to conventional shot peening. As a proof-of-concept demonstration, the RASP was utilized to refine the surface layer in pure copper（Cu） with an average grain size of 85 nm. The grain size increases largely from surface downwards the bulk, forming an800 ？m thick gradient-structured surface layer and consequently a micro-hardness gradient. The difference between the RASP technology and other established techniques in preparing gradient structured materials is discussed. The RASP technology exhibits a promoting future for large-scale manufacturing of gradient materials.

In this paper, linear and quadratic finite element models are devised for the three- dimensional helmholtz problem by using a hybrid variational functional. In each element, contin- uous and discontinuous helmholtz fields are defined with their equality enforced over the element boundary in a weak sense. The continuous field is based on the C° nodal interpolation and the discontinuous field can be condensed before assemblage. hence, the element can readily be in- corporated seamlessly into the standard finite element program framework. Discontinuous fields constructed by the plane-wave, Bessel and singular spherical-wave solutions are attempted. Nu- merical tests demonstrate that some of the element models are consistently and considerably more accurate than their conventional counterparts.
