The occurrence of benign prostate hyperplasia(BPH)was related to disrupted sex steroid hormones,and metformin(Met)had a clinical response to sex steroid hormone-related gynaecological ***,whether Met exerts an antiproliferative effect on BPH via sex steroid hormones remains ***,our clinical study showed that along with prostatic epithelial cell(PEC)proliferation,sex steroid hormones were dysregulated in the serum and prostate of BPH *** the major contributor to dysregulated sex steroid hormones,elevated dihydrotestosterone(DHT)had a significant positive relationship with the clinical characteristics of BPH *** of adenosine 5'-monophosphate(AMP)-activated protein kinase(AMPK)by Met restored dysregulated sex steroid hormone homeostasis and exerted antiproliferative effects against DHT-induced proliferation by inhibiting the formation of androgen receptor(AR)-mediated Yes-associated protein(YAP1)-TEA domain transcription factor(TEAD4)***’s anti-proliferative effects were blocked by AMPK inhibitor or YAP1 overexpression in DHT-cultured BPH-1 *** findings indicated that Met would be a promising clinical therapeutic approach for BPH by inhibiting dysregulated steroid hormone-induced PEC proliferation.

多糖作为生物医药和食品加工与生产中广泛使用的高分子聚合物之一,具有抗肿瘤、免疫调节、降血糖、抗氧化、抑菌等生物活性。越来越多的学者从动物、微生物和植物中分离与纯化多糖并对其生物活性及应用进行研究。多糖的生物活性受单糖组成、分子量、糖苷键类型、分支度、空间构象等多种因素影响,如何实现活性多糖的设计、构建、筛选和高效生产一直是多糖研究的重点和难点。基于分子量与多糖生物活性的构效关系进行综述,介绍分子量对多糖抗氧化、抗肿瘤、抗炎、益生、免疫调节和抑菌等活性的影响,并对由分子量差异造成的多糖生物活性变化进行了讨论和展望,以期为从分子量角度改善多糖生物活性的研究及应用提供理论参考。

目的:探讨互动式头针联合基于rTMS的肢体功能锻炼对脑卒中康复肢体功能障碍患者临床疗效、运动功能、神经保护因子及生活质量的影响。方法:根据随机数字表法,2021年1月—2023年1月驻马店市中心医院就诊的137例脑卒中偏瘫患者分为对照组(68例)和观察组(69例)。对照组患者进行基于rTMS的肢体功能锻炼,观察组在对照组的基础上联合互动式头针,两组均连续治疗1个月。比较两组临床疗效,治疗前后的运动功能、神经保护因子及生活质量。结果:观察组临床疗效较对照组更为显著(P<0.05)。经治疗两组FMA-上肢评分与FMA-下肢评分均有所升高,观察组较对照组升幅更大;两组5m折返试验时间均有所减少,观察组较对照组降幅更大(P<0.05)。经治疗两组脑源性神经营养因子、神经生长因子及神经营养素-3水平均有所升高,观察组较对照组升幅更大(P<0.05)。经治疗两组躯体疼痛、活力、生理功能、躯体功能、精神健康、总体健康、情感职能及社会功能评分均有所升高,观察组较对照组升幅更大(P<0.05)。结论:互动式头针联合基于rTMS的肢体功能锻炼在脑卒中康复肢体功能障碍中疗效确切,可有效改善患者运动功能,调节神经保护因子水平,提高其生活质量。

Review on application of phase change materials in asphalt pavement

Phase change materials(PCMs)can regulate the temperature in asphalt pavement and minimize temperature-related problems,such as rutting and thermal cracking,because of their ability to store and release latent *** PCMs can also enable additional road surface functions,such as snow melting ability,freeze-thaw cycle resistance,and heat island *** functions are helpful in achieving intelligent,green,and sustainable transportation *** the research on PCMs for asphalt pavement has been carried out for more than 10 years,a systematic material system and mature application technology have not yet been *** main reasons for restricting the development of this technology include the lack of suitability between the PCMs and asphalt pavement,the quantitative characterization of phase change temperature regulation property,and the evaluation of the effect of phase change energy storage on improving pavement *** the published review has made a comprehensive summary of the existing research,it has yet to identify the key restricting the development of this technology and carry out a review and discussion based on *** grasp the development status of the application of PCMs in asphalt pavement,sort out the development needs and break through the technical barriers,this study systematically summarizes the preparation and performance of PCMs for asphalt pavement,compares the performance and evaluation methods of asphalt mixtures with different PCMs,and summarizes the numerical simulation methods of phase change asphalt ***,this study presents potential approaches to address critical technical issues and discusses possible future research.

Inhibition of the maize salt overly sensitive pathway by ZmSK3 and ZmSK4

Soil salinity is a worldwide problem that adversely affects plant growth and crop productivity. The salt overly sensitive (SOS) pathway is evolutionarily conserved and essential for plant salt tolerance. In this study, we reveal how the maize shaggy/glycogen synthase kinase 3-like kinases ZmSK3 and ZmSK4, orthologs of brassinosteroid insensitive 2 in Arabidopsis thaliana, regulate the maize SOS pathway. ZmSK3 and ZmSK4 interact with and phosphorylate ZmSOS2, a core member of the maize SOS pathway. The mutants defective in ZmSK3 or ZmSK4 are hyposensitive to salt stress, with higher salt-induced activity of ZmSOS2 than that in the wild type. Furthermore, the Ca^(2+) sensors ZmSOS3 and ZmSOS3-like calcium binding protein 8 (ZmSCaBP8) activate ZmSOS2 to maintain Na^(+)/K^(+) homeostasis under salt stress and may participate in the regulation of ZmSOS2 by ZmSK3 and ZmSK4. These findings discover the regulation of the maize SOS pathway and provide important gene targets for breeding salt-tolerant maize.

抗生素作为一种常用的疾病治疗药物,在生物医疗、公共卫生等领域中发挥着巨大作用.然而,当其通过食物链在人体内大量累积时,会对机体造成较大的危害.因此,针对食品、药品及环境中残留抗生素的高效检测至关重要.基于核酸适配体传感器的分析技术是一类简单、高效、灵敏的检测方法,在食品分析、环境监测和医药检测等领域有着广泛应用.该类方法借助多种酶促或非酶促核酸扩增策略,构建不同类型(荧光、比色、电化学等)的核酸适配体传感器来检测不同种类的抗生素,实现分析方法的高灵敏度和低检测限.文中综述了当前核酸适配体传感器在抗生素分析检测领域的应用及研究进展,并归纳总结了几类常见的抗生素分析方法的优缺点,最后对核酸适配体在抗生素分析领域的应用和发展进行了前景展望,并总结其未来发展趋势、研究焦点与挑战.

Evaluating the performance of genomic selection on purebred population by incorporating crossbred data in pigs

Genomic selection(GS)has been widely used in livestock,which greatly accelerated the genetic progress of complex *** population size was one of the significant factors affecting the prediction accuracy,while it was limited by the purebred *** to directly combining two uncorrelated purebred populations to extend the reference population size,it might be more meaningful to incorporate the correlated crossbreds into reference population for genomic *** this study,we simulated purebred offspring(PAS and PBS)and crossbred offspring(CAB)base on real genotype data of two base purebred populations(PA and PB),to evaluate the performance of genomic selection on purebred while incorporating crossbred *** results showed that selecting key crossbred individuals via maximizing the expected genetic relationship(REL)was better than the other methods(individuals closet or farthest to the purebred population,CP/FP)in term of the prediction ***,the prediction accuracy of reference populations combining PA and CAB was significantly better only based on PA,which was similar to combine PA and ***,the rank correlation between the multiple of the increased relationship(MIR)and reliability improvement was *** for individuals with low correlation(Cor(Pi,PA or B),the reliability improvement was significantly lower than other *** findings suggested that incorporating crossbred into purebred population could improve the performance of genetic prediction compared with using the purebred population *** genetic relationship between purebred and crossbred population is a key factor determining the increased reliability while incorporating crossbred population in the genomic prediction on pure bred individuals.

Variation analysis of growth traits of four poplar clones under different water and fertilizer management

To determine appropriate quantities of water and fertilizer required for early growth of hybrid poplar cuttings,we recorded the growth traits of four clones grown under four factors(irrigation and nitrogen,phosphorus,and potassium fertilizers),each with four levels,using an orthogonal experimental design.A logistic model was used to estimate growth in *** growth curves for tree height were sigmoid,and the model R^2 values were greater than 0.9,which indicated that the fit was highly *** results for tree height and basal diameter indicated that all sources of variance showed significant differences(p<0.001).The average tree height and basal diameter for all the four clones under the different treatments ranged from 155.39 to 235.04 cm,and from 13.71 to 17.42 mm,respectively.A highly positive correlation between the extreme k value and tree height was observed,suggesting that the k value was an accurate estimation of tree *** model parameters,the earliest average time point for the onset of the rapid growth period of poplar clones was 131 d,and the highest average increment in tree height during the rapid growth period was 138.78 *** highest average tree height for all clones under each factor was 219,210.51,200,and 201 cm when treated with either 1200 mL of water applied every third day,3 g of nitrogen,0 g of phosphorus,or 0 g of potassium,*** most suitable treatment for the early growth of hybrid poplar cuttings,as suggested by the developed logistic model,was 1200 mL of water applied every third day and three applications of 1 g nitrogen(in the form of CH4N2O).
