BACKGROUND For children and adolescents,deliberate self-harm(DSH)is becoming a mental health problem of *** several studies on the prevalence and factors of DSH in the world,there is little information on DSH among children and adolescents in *** study explores the prevalence,types,associated risk factors and tendency of DSH in pediatric psychiatric inpatients in *** To understand the situation of DSH among hospitalized children and adolescents and its related *** In this study,we retrospectively studied 1414 hospitalized children and adolescents with mental illness at Xiamen Mental Health Center from 2014 to 2019,extracted the demographic and clinical data of all patients,and analyzed clinical risk factors of *** A total of 239(16.90%)patients engaged in at least one type of DSH in our ***(n=115,48.12%)was the most common type of ***(n=171,71.55%)were more likely to engage in DSH than males(n=68,28.45%).DSH was positively associated with depressive disorders[OR=3.845(2.196-6.732);P<0.01],female[OR=2.536(1.815-3.542);P<0.01],parental marital status[OR=5.387(2.254-12.875);P<0.01]and negative family history of psychiatric illness[OR=7.767(2.952-20.433);P<0.01],but not with occupation,substance use and history of physical *** Our findings suggest that for patients with depression,females,an abnormal marriage of parents,and no history of mental illness,attention should be paid to the occurrence of DSH.

A New Industrial Intrusion Detection Method Based on CNN-BiLSTM

Nowadays,with the rapid development of industrial Internet technology,on the one hand,advanced industrial control systems(ICS)have improved industrial production ***,there are more and more cyber-attacks targeting industrial control *** ensure the security of industrial networks,intrusion detection systems have been widely used in industrial control systems,and deep neural networks have always been an effective method for identifying cyber *** intrusion detection methods still suffer from low accuracy and a high false alarm ***,it is important to build a more efficient intrusion detection *** paper proposes a hybrid deep learning intrusion detection method based on convolutional neural networks and bidirectional long short-term memory neural networks(CNN-BiLSTM).To address the issue of imbalanced data within the dataset and improve the model’s detection capabilities,the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique-Edited Nearest Neighbors(SMOTE-ENN)algorithm is applied in the preprocessing *** algorithm is employed to generate synthetic instances for the minority class,simultaneously mitigating the impact of noise in the majority *** approach aims to create a more equitable distribution of classes,thereby enhancing the model’s ability to effectively identify patterns in both minority and majority *** the experimental phase,the detection performance of the method is verified using two data *** results show that the accuracy rate on the CICIDS-2017 data set reaches 97.7%.On the natural gas pipeline dataset collected by Lan Turnipseed from Mississippi State University in the United States,the accuracy rate also reaches 85.5%.

SDCC: software-defined collective communication for distributed training

Communication is crucial to the performance of distributed training. Today's solutions tightly couple the control and data planes and lack flexibility, generality, and performance. In this study, we present SDCC, a software-defined collective communication framework for distributed training. SDCC is based on the principle of modern systems design to effectively decouple the control plane from the data *** abstracts the operations for collective communication in distributed training with dataflow operations and unifies computing and communication with a single dataflow graph. The abstraction, together with the unification, is powerful: it enables users to easily express new and existing collective communication algorithms and optimizations, simplifies the integration with different computing engines(e.g., Py Torch and Tensor Flow) and network transports(e.g., Linux TCP and kernel bypass), and allows the system to improve performance by exploiting parallelism exposed by the dataflow graph. We further demonstrate the benefits of SDCC in four use cases.

Ensemble successor representations for task generalization in offline-to-online reinforcement learning

In reinforcement learning(RL), training a policy from scratch with online experiences can be inefficient because of the difficulties in exploration. Recently, offline RL provides a promising solution by giving an initialized offline policy, which can be refined through online interactions. However, existing approaches primarily perform offline and online learning in the same task, without considering the task generalization problem in offline-to-online adaptation. In real-world applications, it is common that we only have an offline dataset from a specific task while aiming for fast online-adaptation for several tasks. To address this problem, our work builds upon the investigation of successor representations for task generalization in online RL and extends the framework to incorporate offline-to-online learning. We demonstrate that the conventional paradigm using successor features cannot effectively utilize offline data and improve the performance for the new task by online fine-tuning. To mitigate this, we introduce a novel methodology that leverages offline data to acquire an ensemble of successor representations and subsequently constructs ensemble Q functions. This approach enables robust representation learning from datasets with different coverage and facilitates fast adaption of Q functions towards new tasks during the online fine-tuning *** empirical evaluations provide compelling evidence showcasing the superior performance of our method in generalizing to diverse or even unseen tasks.

Experimental study on the effect of flexible joints of a deep-buried tunnel across an active fault under high in-situ stress conditions

During dislocation,a tunnel crossing the active fault will be damaged to varying degrees due to its permanent stratum *** previous studies did not consider the influence of the tunnel’s deep burial and the high in-situ stress,so the results were not entirely *** this paper,the necessity of solving the anti-dislocation problem of deep-buried tunnels is systemically *** the model test of tunnels across active faults,the differences in failures between deep-buried tunnels and shallow-buried tunnels were compared,and the dislocation test of deep-buried segmental tunnels was carried out to analyze the external stress change,lining strain,and failure mode of *** results are as follows.(1)The overall deformation of deep-buried and shallow-buried tunnels is both *** failure mode of deep-buried tunnels is primarily characterized by shear and tensile failure,resulting in significant compressive deformation and a larger damaged *** contrast,shallow-buried tunnels mainly experience shear failure,with the tunnel being sheared apart at the fault crossing,leading to more severe damage.(2)After the segmental structure design of the deep-buried tunnel,the‘‘S”deformation pattern is transformed into a‘‘ladder”pattern,and the strain of the tunnel and the peak stress of the external rock mass are reduced;therefore,damages are significantly mitigated.(3)Through the analysis of the distribution of cracks in the tunnel lining,it is found that the tunnel without a segmental structure design has suffered from penetrating failure and that cracks affect the entire *** cracks in a flexible segmental tunnel affect about 66.6%of the entire length of the tunnel,and cracks in a tunnel with a short segmental tunnel only affect about 33.3%of the entire length of the ***,a deep-buried tunnel with a short segmental tunnel can yield a better anti-dislocation effect.(4)By comparing the shallow-buried segmental tunnel in previous

Musculoskeletal ultrasound to evaluate the efficacy of acupuncture: a review

Acupuncture is a typical example of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been used in China for hundreds of years to treat a wide range of illnesses. However, in the clinic, issues and deficiencies were primarily seen in four areas: loss of accuracy in the operation process;difficulty understanding the depth of acupuncture;difficulty using reinforcing and reducing techniques;and lack of a clear dynamic effect of acupuncture points following acupuncture. Musculoskeletal ultrasonography may quantitatively evaluate the acupuncture location and display the distribution of small nerves near and within the fascia of the acupuncture point in real time. The subjects were asked how they felt about receiving Qi when the needle body reached different depths and different tissues. The Qi obtained from an acupuncture point and the connective tissue of the fascia can be further understood by combining the physiological response of the acupuncture point with the anatomical structure,which offers a new method for defining the nature of the acupuncture point and standardizing the acupuncture point.

ControlService: a containerized solution for control-algorithm-as-a-service in cloud control systems

As an extension of networked control systems, cloud control systems(CCSs) have emerged as a new control paradigm to improve the service quality of emerging control missions, such as data-driven modeling and automated vehicles. Existing studies have used the workflow-based restructured method to optimize the computation-intensive algorithms in the CCSs. However, the challenges here are how to define and submit these algorithms' workflows as cloud services and execute these algorithms' workflows in a containerized manner. Based on these challenges, we propose a containerized solution for the control-algorithm-as-a-service(C3aS) in the CCSs, namely Control Service. It offers the control algorithm as a cloud workflow service and uses a customized workflow engine to realize the containerized execution. First, we employ a cloud workflow representation method to define a control algorithm into an abstract cloud workflow form. Afterward, we provide a cloud service representation of the abstract cloud workflow. Next, we design a workflow engine and submit the cloud service to this workflow engine to implement containerized execution of this cloud service in the CCSs. In the experiment, we discuss the cloud service form and containerized implementation of the subspace identification method. Experimental results show that the proposed Control Service has significant performance advantages in computational time, reduction percentage, and speedup ratio compared with the baseline method.
