Ultrasonic microfeeding of powders is a new and promising method for use in solid freeforming and pharmaceutical dosing. In this work, computer-controlled microfeeding systems using ultrasonic vibration of a capillary were built. A wide range of controlled, stable rates of flow and switching control were achieved in the acoustic vibration system and uniform powder doses were obtained in the ultrasonic system. Experimental results show that nozzle diameter, transmission fluid depth, waveform, voltage amplitude, frequency and oscillation duration all influence the dose mass. Among these factors, nozzle diameter, voltage amplitude and oscillation duration can be best used to control the dose mass. An artificial neural network （ANN） technique was applied to predict the dose mass. Based on these research results, four types of microfeeding were proposed.

Accurate interpretation of clutter seismic reflection is of great significance to make clear the structural geometry and kinematics *** on field investigations,boreholes and seismic data,forward modeling is carried out under the trishear model of fault-propagated fold principle,and the activity characteristics of the main faults in the study area are quantitatively analyzed using the balanced restoration technique,which may provide important indication for the potential petroleum exploration and *** results show that separated by Tuziluoke and Tugerming fault,the structural style of the study area can be divided into the deeply buried forelimb,the kink band and the tiny anticline backlimb *** Tuziluoke fault has been active with strong intensity since the sedimentary period of the Kuqa Formation and,which controls the formation of the growth strata in the deep buried forelimb of the Tuziluoke *** Tugerming fault has been active intermittently since the end of the Jurassic,causing the strata denudation of the Late Jurassic to Paleogene in varying degrees and the development of series of regulating *** multi-stage tectonic activities caused the structural high of the anticline migrated from east to west.

Investigation of carbon dioxide photoreduction process in a laboratory-scale photoreactor by computational fluid dynamic and reaction kinetic modeling

The production of solar fuels via the photoreduction of carbon dioxide to methane by titanium oxide is a promising process to control greenhouse gas emissions and provide alternative renewable fuels. Although several reaction mechanisms have been proposed, the detailed steps are still ambiguous, and the limiting factors are not well defined. To improve our understanding of the mechanisms of carbon dioxide photoreduction, a multiphysics model was developed using COMSOL. The novelty of this work is the computational fluid dynamic model combined with the novel carbon dioxide photoreduction intrinsic reaction kinetic model, which was built based on three-steps, namely gas adsorption, surface reactions and desorption, while the ultraviolet light intensity distribution was simulated by the Gaussian distribution model and Beer-Lambert model. The carbon dioxide photoreduction process conducted in a laboratory-scale reactor under different carbon dioxide and water moisture partial pressures was then modeled based on the intrinsic kinetic model. It was found that the simulation results for methane, carbon monoxide and hydrogen yield match the experiments in the concentration range of 10^(−4) mol·m^(–3) at the low carbon dioxide and water moisture partial pressure. Finally, the factors of adsorption site concentration, adsorption equilibrium constant, ultraviolet light intensity and temperature were evaluated.

Defects evolution in n-type 4H-SiC induced by electron irradiation and annealing

Radiation damage produced in 4H-SiC by electrons of different doses is presented by using multiple characterization techniques. Raman spectra results indicate that SiC crystal structures are essentially impervious to 10 Me V electron irradiation with doses up to 3000 kGy. However, irradiation indeed leads to the generation of various defects, which are evaluated through photoluminescence(PL) and deep level transient spectroscopy(DLTS). The PL spectra feature a prominent broad band centered at 500 nm, accompanied by several smaller peaks ranging from 660 to 808 nm. The intensity of each PL peak demonstrates a linear correlation with the irradiation dose, indicating a proportional increase in defect concentration during irradiation. The DLTS spectra reveal several thermally unstable and stable defects that exhibit similarities at low irradiation ***, after irradiating at the higher dose of 1000 kGy, a new stable defect labeled as R_(2)(Ec-0.51 eV) appeared after annealing at 800 K. Furthermore, the impact of irradiation-induced defects on SiC junction barrier Schottky diodes is discussed. It is observed that high-dose electron irradiation converts SiC n-epilayers to semi-insulating layers. However, subjecting the samples to a temperature of only 800 K results in a significant reduction in resistance due to the annealing out of unstable defects.

Formation of overpressure system and its relationship with the distribution of large gas fields in typical foreland basins in central and western China

Based on the data of measured formation pressure, drilling fluid density of key exploration wells and calculated pressure by well logging, combined with the analysis of natural gas geological conditions, the characteristics and formation mechanisms of formation fluid overpressure systems in different foreland basins and the relationship between overpressure systems and large-scale gas accumulation are discussed.(1) The formation mechanisms of formation overpressure in different foreland basins are different. The formation mechanism of overpressure in the Kuqa foreland basin is mainly the overpressure sealing of plastic salt gypsum layer and hydrocarbon generation pressurization in deep–ultra-deep layers, that in the southern Junggar foreland basin is mainly hydrocarbon generation pressurization and under-compaction sealing, and that in the western Sichuan foreland basin is mainly hydrocarbon generation pressurization and paleo-fluid overpressure residual.(2) There are three common characteristics in foreland basins, i.e. superimposed development of multi-type overpressure and multi-layer overpressure, strong–extremely strong overpressure developed in a closed foreland thrust belt, and strong–extremely strong overpressure developed in a deep foreland uplift area.(3) There are four regional overpressure sealing and storage mechanisms, which play an important role in controlling large gas fields, such as the overpressure of plastic salt gypsum layer, the overpressure formed by hydrocarbon generation pressurization, the residual overpressure after Himalayan uplift and denudation, and the under-compaction overpressure.(4) Regional overpressure is an important guarantee for forming large gas fields, the sufficient gas source, large-scale reservoir and trap development in overpressure system are the basic conditions for forming large gas fields, and the overpressure system is conducive to forming deep to ultra-deep large gas fields.

A novel framework is proposed to obtain physiologically meaningful features for Alzheimer's disease(AD)classification based on sparse functional connectivity and non-negative matrix ***,the non-negative adaptive sparse representation(NASR)method is applied to compute the sparse functional connectivity among brain regions based on functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI)data for feature ***,the sparse non-negative matrix factorization(sNMF)method is adopted for dimensionality reduction to obtain low-dimensional features with straightforward physical *** experimental results show that the proposed framework outperforms the competing frameworks in terms of classification accuracy,sensitivity and ***,three sub-networks,including the default mode network,the basal ganglia-thalamus-limbic network and the temporal-insular network,are found to have notable differences between the AD patients and the healthy *** proposed framework can effectively identify AD patients and has potentials for extending the understanding of the pathological changes of AD.
