A novel yttrium (III) coordination compound supported by plenary Dawson cluster, [Y(NMP)5(H2O)2] [Y(NMP)4(H2O)2(P2Mo18O62)] · NMP · 5.5 H2O, (NMP = N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone) has been synthesized by reac.ion of α-H6P2Mo18O62 · nH2O, Y2O3 and NMP in water. The results of the single crystal X-ray diffrac.ion analyses show the title compound forms a neutral and discrete cluster through [P2Mo18O62]6−] being coordinated to [Y(NMP)4(H2O)2]3+ through its terminal oxygen atom.

In this article we describe a new and excep-tionally well-preserved pterodac.yloid pterosaur, Sinopterus dongi gen. et sp. nov. from the Jiufotang Formation in west-ern Liaoning Province of northeast China. The new species is referred to the family Tapejaridae, representing its first re-cord outside Brazil. It also represents the earliest occurrence as well as the most complete skeleton of the family. Some revisions are made about the family ac.ording to the mor-phological observations of the postcranial bones of Sinop-terus. Two pterosaur assemblages appear to have existed in the Jehol Group, represented by the lower Yixian Formation and upper Jiufotang Formation, respectively. The lower pterosaur assemblage shows some resemblance to that of the Late Jurassic in Solnhofen (Tithonian) by sharing members of the Pterodac.ylidae and Anurognathidae. The upper one shows more resemblance to that of the early Cretac.ous Santana Formation (Aptian/Albian) by comprising only pterodac.yloids such as the Tapejaridae. The age of the Yixian Formation is younger than that of the Solnhofen lithographic limestone, and the age of the Jiufotang Forma-tion (Aptian) is slightly older than the Santana Formation.

Human μ-opioid receptor （HμOR） with a tag of six consecutive histidines at its carboxyl terminus had been expressed in recombinant bac.lovirus infected Sf9 insect *** maximal binding capac.ty for the [3H] diprenorphine and [3H]ohmefentanyl （Ohm） were 9.1± 0.7 and 6.52±0.23 nmol/g protein, respectively. The [3H] diprenorphine or [3H] Ohm binding to the receptor expressed in Sf9 cells was strongly inhibited by μ-selective agonists [D-Ala2], N-methylPhe4, glyol5]enkephalin （DAGO）, Ohm, and morphine, but neither by δ nor by K selective agonist. Na+（100 mM） and GTP （50 μM） could reduce HμOR agonists etorphine and Ohm affinity binding to the overexpressed HμOR. μ-selective agonists DAGO and Ohm effectively stimulated [35S]GTPγS binding (eC50= 2.7nM and 6.9 nM) and inhibited forskolin- stimulated cAMP ac.umulation (IC50= 0.9 nM and 0.3 nM). The agonist-dependent effects could be blocked by opioid antagonist naloxone or by pretreatment of cells with pertussis toxin （PTX）. These results demonstrated that HμOR overexpressed in Sf9 insect cells functionally coupled to endogenous Gi/o proteins.

Three dithiooxalato (Dto) bridging one-dimensional Mn(Ⅱ) complexes [Mn(L)Dto](L = Phen (1), Bpy (2) and en (3)) were synthesized. All of the complexes have the similar one-dimensional structure through Dto bridge. The measurement of the variable temperature magnetic susceptibility of complex 1 showed that there are weak antiferromag- netic interac.ions between the Mn(Ⅱ) ions.

Combined pollution of 1,1,1-trichloro-2,2-bis （4-chlorophenyl） ethane （DDT） and cadmium （Cd） in agricultural soils is of great concern because they present serious risk to food security and human *** order to develop a cost-effective and safe method for the removal of DDTs and Cd in soil,combined remediation of DDTs and Cd in soil by Sphingobac.erium sp.D-6 and the hyperac.umulator,Sedum alfredii Hance was *** treatment for 210 days,the degradation half-lives of DDTs in soils treated by strain D-6 decreased by 8.1% to 68.0% compared with those in the *** inoculation of strain D-6 into soil decreased the uptake of DDTs by pak choi and *** shoots/roots ratios of *** for the Cd ac.umulation ranged from 12.32 to *** Cd concentration in soil decreased to 65.8%-71.8% for *** treatment and 14.1%-58.2% for *** and strain D-6 combined treatment,respectively,compared with that in the *** population size of the DDTs-degrading strain,Simpson index （1/D） and soil respiratory rate decreased in the early stage of treatment and then gradually increased,ultimately recovering to or exceeding the initial *** results indicated that synchronous incorporation of strain D-6 and *** into soil was found to significantly （p 0.05） enhance the degradation of DDTs in soil and the hyperac.umulation of Cd in *** was concluded that strain D-6 and *** could be used successfully to control DDTs and Cd in contaminated soil.

Recently, Lutwak, Yang and Zhang posed the notion of Lp-projection body and established the Lp-analog of the Petty projection inequality. In this paper, the notion of Lp-mixed projection body is introduced--the Lp-projection body being a special case. The Petty projection inequality, as well as Lutwak＇s quermassintegrals （Lp-mixed quermassintegrals） extension of the Petty projection inequality, is established for Lp-mixed projection body.

To determine the possible role of the epigenetic mechanisms in carcinogenesis of the hepatocellular carcinoma, we methylation-profiled the promoter CpG islands of twenty four genes both in Hcc tumors and the neighboring non-cancerous tissues of twenty eight patients using the methylation-specific PCR （MSP） method in conjunction with the DNA sequencing. In comparison with the normal liver tissues from the healthy donors, it was found that while remained unmethylated the ABL, CAV, ePO, GATA3, LKB1, NeP, NFL, NIS and p27KIP1 genes, varying extents of the Hcc specific hypermethylation were found associated with the ABO, AR, CSPG2, cyclin al, DBccR1, GALR2, IRF7, MGMT, MT1A, MYOD1, OCT6, p57KIP2, p73, WT1 genes, and demethylation with the MAGeA1 gene, respectively. Judged by whether the hypermethylated occurred in Hcc more frequently than in their neighboring normal tissues, the hypermethylation status of the AR, DBccR1, IRF7, OCT6, and p73 genes was considered as the event specific to the late stage,
