DC breakdown characteristics of XLPE/BNNS nanocomposites considering BN nanosheet concentration,space charge and temperature

Breakdown failure in insulation material is one of the key problems that threaten the safe operation of high-voltage direct current *** this work,the effect of boron nitride nanosheets(BNNSs)concentration,space charge and temperature on DC breakdown strength have been ***-linked polyethylene(XLPE)/BNNS nanocomposites were prepared by the melt blending method,and the basic characteristics of nanoparticles and composite were *** experimental results indicate that DC breakdown strength of nanocomposite can be effectively improved when a small amount of BN nanosheet is doped into the *** breakdown strength of the sample reaches the maximum value of 407.52 kV/mm when BNNS content is 0.5 wt%,which is about 33%higher than that of pure ***,the effect of space charge on the breakdown of nanocomposites has been studied by pre-injecting *** the samples with different BNNS contents,all the breakdown strength present ascending trend when the polarity of the applied voltage is the same as that of the pre-injected ***,it can be found that the breakdown strength of the XLPE/BNNSs composite decreases significantly at 50°C,which is due to more charge accumulation at 50°*** reaches 2.06×10^(−8)C which increases by about 2.2 times than the room temperature.

A semi‐conductive shielding layer plays an important role in the uniform electric field for a high‐voltage *** electric‐thermal properties of the semi‐conductive layer and insulation layer directly affect the overall insulation performance of the *** physicochemical performances of semi‐conductive composites are firstly analysed ***,electric‐thermal properties of the semi‐conductive layer and insulation layer are *** experimental results show that the thermal conductivity of the commercial semi‐conductive layer is about twice that of the insulation layer,owing to the effect of carbon *** thermal expansion coefficient of the insulation layer rises from 1.86×10^(−4)/K at 25℃ to 3.20×10^(−4)/K at 90℃.By contrast,the semi‐conductive layer begins to slowly decline at a certain temperature,and decreases signif-icantly to 2.25×10^(−4)/K at 80℃,owing to the effect of ethylene‐vinyl acetate copolymer(EVA).The electrical experiments show that the resistivity of semi‐conductive composite gradually rises with an increase in temperature,and gradually declines with an increase in the carbon black *** dc breakdown strength of the composite structure of the semi‐conductive layer/insulation layer decreases significantly with an increase in tem-perature,decreasing from 307 kV/mm at 25℃ to 203 kV/mm at 90℃.At four typical temperatures,the breakdown strength reaches the maximum value when the carbon black content is 25 *** is about 15%and 19%higher than carbon black contents of 20 and 30 *** findings have reference significance for high‐voltage cable breakdown fault analysis and material selection in cable design.

Using the empirical ionospheric model, the flux-tube integrated electron density and the ratio between the F-region Pedersen conductivity and the total E- and F-region Pedersen conductivity are calculated to investigate the characteristics of the ionospheric asymmetry after sunset during a solar cycle. Furthermore, two indices representing the asymmetric strength of the parameters respectively are defined to study its relationship with the occurrences of the irregularities during different seasons and with different solar activities. The results indicate that the electron density and the Pedersen conductivity ratio show north-south remarkable hemispheric asymmetry at different solar energy levels. The asymmetric strengths represent the dependence on seasons and solar activities, and their variation depending on seasons and solar activities show a negative correlation with the occurrences of the equatorial irregularities and also have a negative relation with the linear growth rate of the generalized Rayleigh-Taylor instability.

Space charge accumulation in the insulation layer of high-voltage direct current(HVDC)cable is one of the key factors restricting the development of HVDC *** inner semi-conductive layer as an important structure of cable will affect the charge accumu-lation characteristics in the insulation *** work intends to explore the method of modifying the semi-conductive layer with graphene,to suppress charge accumulation in the insulation ***,the semi-conductive layer with different contents of Graphene(G)and carbon black(CB)are ***,the morphology and surface roughness of the cross section are ***,the effects of the semi-conductive layer on space charge accumulation of the insulation layer are studied by pulsed electro-acoustic method and thermal stimulation depolarisation current *** experimental re-sults show that a moderate amount of graphene replacing CB can effectively reduce charge accumulation in the insulation layer and inhibit positive temperature coefficient(PTC)effect at the same *** surface roughness of specimens decreases with the increase of G content from 0 to 3 phr(parts per hundreds of resin),when the CB content decreases from 25 to 10 phr,the surface roughness of specimen *** resistivity test shows that doping G can significantly inhibit the PTC effect of the semi-conductive *** volume resistivity of the semi-conductive layer decreases with the increase of G content and CB *** addition,charge accumulation of the insulation layer rises and then drops under the action of the semi-conductive layer.

Thermoelectric(TE)energy harvesting can effectively convert waste heat into electricity,which is a crucial technology to solve energy *** a promising candidate for energy conversion,poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS)has gained significant attention owing to its easy doping,high transparency,and solution ***,the TE performance of PEDOT:PSS still needs to be further ***,different approaches have been applied for tuning the TE properties:(i)direct dipping PEDOT:PSS thin films in ionic liquid;(ii)post-treatment of the films with concentrated sulfuric acid(H_(2)SO_(4)),and then dipping in ionic ***,the same bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)amide(TFSI)anion and different cation salts,including 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium(EMIM+)and lithium(li+),are selected to study the influence of varying cation types on the TE properties of PEDOT:*** Seebeck coefficient and electrical conductivity of the PEDOT:PSS film treated with H2SO4EMIM:TFSI increase simultaneously,and the resulting maximum power factor is 46.7μW·m^(-1)·K^(-2),which may be attributed to the ionic liquid facilitating the rearrangement of the molecular chain of *** work provides a reference for the development of organic films with high TE properties.

A novel solid-gas reaction preparation technology was used to adjust the composition and microstructure of the composite crystal materials by changing the preparation parameters. Compared with the commonly used sol-gel method, acid base neutralization sedimentation method, hydrothermal method, and gas phase deposition method, the technology was relatively simplified and the elemental composition was controllable, without the use of openings and additives. A kind of multi-element composite porous metal oxide was obtained by pre-intercalation and decarburization. In order to increase the porosity of MoO3 material and promote the adsorption and diffusion of reactant molecules, the microstructure of MoO3 was studied. The preparation process of porous molybdenum trioxide by solid gas combination process was discussed, which provides an innovative idea for the design and preparation of new materials with a large specific surface area and other desirable properties.

Anti virulence strategy has been considered as one of the most promising approaches to combat drug-rcesistant bacterial ***-forming toxins(PFTs)are the largest class of bacterial toxins,inficting their virulence ffect through creating pores on the cell ***,curent solutions for eliminating PFTs are mostly designed based on their molecular structure,requiring customized design for different *** the present study,we employed erythroliposome(denoted as RM-PL),a biomimetic platform constructed by artificial lipid membranes and natural erythrocyle membranes,to necutralize different hemolytic PFTs regardless of their molecular *** tested with model PFTs,including a-hemolysin,listeriolysin O,and streptolysin O,RM-PL could completely inhibit toxin-induced hemolysis in a concentration-dependent *** vivo studies further confirmed that *** eficiently neuralize various toxins and save animals'lives without causing damage to 0rgans or *** addition,we explored the underlying mechanisms of this efficient detoxification ability and found that it was mainly macrophages in the spleen and the liver that took up RM-PL-absorbed toxins through a variety of endocytosis pathways and digested them in *** summary,the biomimetic RM-PL presented a promising system for broad-spectrum and powerful toxin neutralization with a mech-anism of lysosome-mediaed loxin degradation.

Chronic inflammation is critical in the onset and progression of atherosclerosis(AS).The lipopolysaccharide(LPS)level in the circulation system is elevated in AS patients and animal models,which is correlated with the severity of *** by the underlying mechanism that LPS could drive the polarization of macrophages toward the M1 phenotype,aggravate inflammation,and ultimately contribute to the exacerbation of AS,LPS in the circulation system was supposed to be the therapeutic target for AS *** the present study,polymyxin(PMB)covalently conjugated to PEGylated liposomes(PLPs)were formulated to adsorb LPS through specific interactions between PMB and *** vitro,the experiments demonstrated that PLPs could adsorb LPS,reduce the polarization of macrophages to M1 phenotype and inhibit the formation of foam *** vivo,the study revealed that PLPs treatment reduced the serum levels of LPS and pro-inflammatory cytokines,decreased the proportion of M1-type macrophages in AS plaque,stabilized AS plaque,and downsized the plaque burdens in arteries,which eventually attenuated the progression of *** study highlighted LPS in the circulation system as the therapeutic target for AS and provided an alternative strategy for AS treatment.
