BACKGROUND Gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GISTs)are mesenchymal tissue tumors originating from Cajal cells,presenting diverse clinical manifestations due to the different sizes,locations,and growth patterns of the *** is an uncommon site of GISTs,more with gastrointestinal obstruction and bleeding as the first *** duodenal varix,as a rare varix occurring outside the gastroesophageal region,is the main type of heterotopic varices and an unusual cause of gas-trointestinal *** etiology is mainly seen in liver cirrhosis,portal hypertension,vasculitis,portal vein embolism and obstruction caused by various *** of duodenal stromal tumor combined with ectopic variceal hemorrhage are rarely seen;however,when it occurs,the situation can sometimes be urgent and life-threatening,especially when traditional endoscopy and imaging fail to detect the lesion *** SUMMARY We report a 52-year-old female patient who had no obvious inducement to develop black *** in a local hospital revealed that the duodenal horizontal ectopic varices were ruptured and *** metal clamping hemostasis,she still had gastrointestinal bleeding and was transferred to our *** showed that active bleeding was still seen in the horizontal part of duodenum,and suspicious submucosal eminence was seen in the bleeding *** computed tomography showed a huge stromal tumor of duodenum,specimens were pathologically confirmed after *** a 3-mo follow-up,no gastrointestinal hemorrhage and complications *** Ectopic variceal hemorrhage is rare but sometimes *** may be combined with stromal tumor,which can be diagnosed by multiple *** and surgical treatment are effective.

A series of anilido-imine zinc complexes ortho-C6H4（CH：NAr）（NAr）ZnEt[Ar=2,6-Me2C6H3（2a）; Ar=2,6-Et2C6H3（2b）] was synthesized, characterized and used as catalysts for the ring-opening polymerization of L-lactide in the presence of benzyl alcohol. The effects of the structures of catalysts and reaction conditions on the reactivity were investigated. The polymerization of L-lactide initiated by each of these complexes was found to take place with a controlled manner.

Because of its softness,wear resistance,biocompatibility,extremely comfortable human touch,thermoplastic vulcanizate(TPV)comprised of silicone rubber(SiR)and thermoplastic polyurethane(TPU)(SiR/TPU TPV)is especially suitable for wearable intelligent ***,developing good compatibilizer is still required to prepare high performance SiR/TPU *** this study,three kinds of polyurethane-polysiloxane copolymer(PU-co-PSi)with different contents of polysiloxane segment were selected,and their compatibilization effect on SiR/TPU blends was studied using nanomechanical mapping technique of *** results show that using PU-co-PSi with the highest content of polysiloxane segment(PU-co-HPSi),the interface thickness largely increases,and the average size of SiR dispersed phase largely decreases,indicating its good compatibilization *** using PU-co-HPSi as compatibilizer,SiR/TPU TPV with a fine SiR dispersed phase and good mechanical performance were successfully *** mechanism on the compatibilization effect of these PU-co-PSi on SiR/TPU TPVs was revealed.

Diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging （MRI） exploits the properties of randomlymoving water molecules in the presence of magnetic field gradients. Within tissue, diffusion of water molecules is restricted by cell membranes, small vessels, axon cylinders, membrane, chemical interactions of water and macromolecules. In the brain, water diffusion exhibits directionality in the orientation along the long axis of white matter. This is referred to as ＂diffusion anisotropy＂. Diffusion anisotropy can be measured via diffusion tensor imaging （DTI）. There is a class of anisotropy indices that reflect the degree of anisotropy of water diffusion which are related to the degree of architectural and structural coherence within each voxel of the tissue. Fractional anisotropy （FA） was the most frequently used index of anisotropy.

The highway construction inevitably may cause certain influence to the cultural heritage and the natural environment along the route, particularly in design stage; if the route selection is unreasonable, it will certainly impact the natural resource seriously along the route. On the contrary, good design can reasonably develop, use, protect and promote the value of cultural heritage and natural environment. Changsha to Jishou （Chang-Ji） freeway is one section of Changsha to Chongqing freeway, which is one of the eight big west channels as planned in China; two cities of Changde and Huaihua and one autonomous region of Xianxi in western Hunan province, along which the cultural heritage and the natural resource are rich, and the natural landscape is exquisite. This paper investigates and analyzes the natural resources along the route of Chang-Ji freeway, puts forward some protection design evaluation indexes for mountain area freeway by the thought of context sensitive design. At last, the paper introduces the effect of applying the indexes to select route of Chang-Ji freeway.

Endovascular repair of aortoiliac aneurysm with a hybrid ：echnique to preserve pelvic perfusion

Endovascular aneurysm repair （EVAR） has been proven to be an effective and safe technique for abdominal or iliac artery aneurysm. However, for aneurysms extending to both iliac bifurcations, routine EVAR will occlude both internal iliac arteries （llAs）, which may increase the risk for pelvic ischemia. New endovascular techniques have been developed to preserve the pelvic perfusion in EVAR for such situation. This article reports an endovascular repair of an aortoiliac aneurysm with an external iliac artery （EIA） to the IIA endograft to preserve the pelvic perfusion. First, an endograft was advanced into the left IIA under the help of an inflated aortic balloon. Coils were deployed to embolize the distal type-1 endoleak from the tunnel around the endograft, and an aortouniiliac endograft and an iliac extension were deployed below the renal arteries extending to the right EIA. Finally, a right-to-left femoro-femoral artery bypass was constructed. Angiography at completion and computed tomography after 6 months demonstrated patency of all grafts and complete exclusion of the aneurysm without any endoleak. Endovascular repair with an EIA-to-IIA endograft to preserve the pelvic inflow is a feasible and effective technique for aortoiliac aneurysms. Coil embolization might be an option to repair the distal type of endoleak. The balloon assisted U-turn technique may help advance the endovascular device over a sharp-angled vessel bifurcation.
