MgH2is considered as a promising hydrogen storage material for its high hydrogen storage capacity,low cost and abundant resource ***,the low kinetics and high enthalpy formation of MgH2limit its wide *** the perspective of adding catalysts to enhance the hydrogen storage properties of Mg-MgH2,this article elaborated the main catalysts based on Ti and Nb transition elements,including single oxide catalysts,binary oxides catalysts（combined with Ni,Na,Sr,V,etc.）,multiple catalysts bound to carbon,and composite catalysts with Ti and Nb elements combined with MXene ***,the main pathways of various catalysts to reduce the reaction activity and broaden the hydrogen desorption channel were also *** Ti-based catalysts can enhance the reactive sites of the matrix by forming multivalent states,while Nb-based catalysts broaden the hydrogen reaction channels by forming tiny *** improving the size structure and enhancing the grain size stability,combined with carbon materials should be the future considerations.

The effects of rare-earth element Y in refining impure copper were investigated in this paper. The composition, microstructures, and corrosion resistance properties of impure copper before and after refinement with Y were investigated using direct-reading spectrometry, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry, optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and potentiodynamic polariza- tion measurements. The results show that the concentrations of impurities S, As, Sb, Bi, A1, Cd, and Se are remarkably decreased. Adding an appropriate amount of Y refines the microstructure and enhances the corrosion resistance properties of impure copper in HC1 solution via a purification effect. The formation enthalpies of compounds formed between Y and various impurity elements were calculated on the basis of Miedema＇s theory. The thermodynamic mechanisms of the refinement of impure copper by Y were also discussed.

The development of stable and highly efficien multifunctional electrocatalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)are essential for the efficient conversion and storage of renewable *** significant advantages of single-atom catalysts,such as strong metal slab interactions,unsaturated coordination and efficient atomic utilization,have opened new avenues for designing multifunctional ***,based on density functional theory,a single atom doped PdPX system was designed as a multifunctional electrocatalyst,which demonstrated the synergistic effect between defects and transition metal atoms and led to enhanced catalytic *** results showed that PdPS/PdPSe with P/X vacancy,PdPTe with P/Pd vacancy and Co/Rh/Ir@PdPX exhibited promising HER ***@PdPS(Se),with an overpotential of 0.56(0.44)V,was predicted to be a promising OER ***,Rh(Ir)@PdPS(Se)catalysts exhibited efficient catalytic properties for ORR Besides,Co@PdPS(Se),Rh(Ir)@PdPS~(V(S)),Co@PdP-Se~(V(Se))and Ir@PdPS~(V(S)-1)exihibited multifunctional catalytic performance with moderate ***,the origin of catalytic activity was revealed by using the crystal orbital Hamilton populations *** a strong adsorption system,proper filling of the anti-bonding state can increase the energy of the system,weaken the adsorption strength,and facilitate the desorption of intermediates Conversely,augmenting bonding states can enhance its adsorption *** findings provide theoretica guidance for the design and fabrication of novel multifunctional electrocatalysts in terms of filling of bondingstate.

Developing a cost-effective and environmentally friendly process for the production of valuable chemicals from abundant herbal biomass receives great attentions in recent ***,taking advantage of the“lignin first”strategy,corn straw is converted to valuable chemicals including lignin monomers,furfural and 5-methoxymethylfurfural via a two steps *** key of this research lies in the development of a green and low-cost catalytic process utilizing magnetic Raney Ni catalyst and high boiling point ethylene *** utilization of neat ethylene glycol as the sole slovent under atmospheric conditions obviates the need for additional additives,thereby facilitating the entire process to be conducted in glass flasks and rendering it highly convenient for scaling *** the initial step,depolymerization of corn straw lignin resulted in a monomer yield of 18.1 wt%.Subsequently,in a dimethyl carbonate system,the carbohydrate component underwent complete conversion in a one-pot process,yielding furfural and 5-methoxymethylfurfural as the primary products with an impressive yield of 47.7%.

The interaction between KIF21A and KANK1 regulates dendritic morphology and synapse plasticity in neurons

With industrialization and rapid development of the society,human beings have to face the ever-increasing *** photocatalytic conversion,as an eco-friendly and economic technology,has received widely attention to solve the problem of fossil resource depletion and environmental pollution.A novel strategy is developed to photocatalytic water-splitting coupling with pollutant degradation using *** high-efficient and multi-functional photocatalyst is the key for the complex *** doped g-CNnanoribbons(Mn-CNNR)was synthesized by the two-step calcination method,and its morphology exhibited the nanoribbon sturcture.H and O yields(380.39 and 74.78μmol/g)of photocatalytic water-splitting using Mn-CNNR was 2.71 and 1.69 times higher than that using bulk g-CN(CNB)after visible-light illumination in pure ***,in the photocatalysis of water splitting coupling with MB degradation,the yields of H and O could reach 593.35 and59.47μmol/g with a 96.05%degradation efficiency of methylene blue(MB)after 3.0 h illumination and the Mn-CNNR catalyst still showed the good stability and the photocatalytic activity in 5 cycling *** on the theoretical simulation and measurements,the separation of photo-generated carriers was assuredly promoted by nanoribbon-construction and Mn *** on the experimental and simulated results,the formation of·OH from HO on the surface of Mn-CNNR was more favorable than that on the surface of CNB in thermodynamics,leading to the excellent performance of Mn-CNNR *** Mn doping,the process from HO to hydroxide radicals on the g-CN surface became beneficial in thermodynamics and ***,a photocatalytic mechanism was proposed to explain the detailed process of photocatalysis for water splitting coupling with MB *** present work shed light on the design of multi-functionalization photocatalysts to simultaneously tackle the problems of energy cri

Morphological alterations in dendritic spines have been linked to changes in functional communication between neurons that affect learning and ***-4 KIF21A helps organize the microtubule-actin network at the cell cortex by interacting with KANK1;however,whether KIF21A modulates dendritic structure and function in neurons remains *** this study,we found that KIF21A was distributed in a subset of dendritic spines,and that these KIF21A-positive spines were larger and more structurally plastic than KIF21A-negative ***,the interaction between KIF21A and KANK1 was found to be critical for dendritic spine morphogenesis and synaptic *** of either KIF21A or KANK1 inhibited dendritic spine morphogenesis and dendritic branching,and these deficits were fully rescued by coexpressing full-length KIF21A or KANK1,but not by proteins with mutations disrupting direct binding between KIF21A and KANK1 or binding between KANK1 and *** down KIF21A in the hippocampus of rats inhibited the amplitudes of long-term potentiation induced by high-frequency stimulation and negatively impacted the animals’cognitive *** together,our findings demonstrate the function of KIF21A in modulating spine morphology and provide insight into its role in synaptic function.

Widely used spin-coated nickle oxide （NiOx） based perovskite solar cells often suffer from severe interfacial reactions between the NiOxand adjacent perovskite layers due to surface defect states,which inherently impair device performance in a long-term view,even with surface molecule *** this study,we developed high-quality magnetron-sputtered NiOxthin films through detailed process optimization,and compared systematically sputtered and spin-coated NiOxthin film surfaces from materials to *** sputtered NiOxfilms exhibit improved crystallinity,smoother surfaces,and significantly reduced Ni3+or Ni vacancies compared to their spin-coated ***,the interface between the perovskite and sputtered NiOxfilm shows a substantially reduced density of defect *** solar cells （PSCs） fabricated with our optimally sputtered NiOxfilms achieved a high power conversion efficiency （PCE） of up to 19.93%and demonstrated enhanced stability,maintaining 86.2% efficiency during 500 h of maximum power point tracking under one standard sun ***,with the surface modification using (4-(2,7-dibromo-9,9-dimethylacridin-10（9H）-yl)butyl)p hosphonic acid （DMAcPA）,the device PCE was further promoted to 23.07%,which is the highest value reported for sputtered NiOxbased PSCs so far.

The Ni-coated carbon nanotubes(Ni@CNT)composite was synthesized by the facile“filtration+calcination”of Ni-based metal−organic framework(MOF)precursor and the obtained composite was used as a catalyst for MgH_(2).MgH_(2)was mixed evenly with different amounts of Ni@CNT(2.5,5.0 and 7.5,wt.%)through ball *** MgH_(2)−5wt.%Ni@CNT can absorb 5.2 wt.%H_(2)at 423 K in 200 s and release about 3.75 wt.%H_(2)at 573 K in 1000 *** its dehydrogenation and rehydrogenation activation energies are reduced to 87.63 and 45.28 kJ/mol(H_(2)).The in-situ generated Mg_(2)Ni/Mg_(2)NiH4 exhibits a good catalytic effect due to the provided more diffusion channels that can be used as“hydrogen pump”.And the presence of carbon nanotubes improves the properties of MgH_(2)to some extent.
