Waste polyolefin plastics, accounting for 50% of all plastic waste, represent a tremendously unexploited carbon source. Efficiently upcycling polyolefin waste into value-added carbon materials for waste water treatment avoiding using noble metals is challenging but economically and environmentally sustainable. In this work, MAX-Ti_(3)AlC_(2) supported Fe selectively catalyzes polyolefin into few-layered graphene in 5 min under microwave treatment. Graphene and MAX supported Fe(Fe@MLC) can completely(99.9%)degrade chloramphenicol(CAP) within 60 min, retain robust after 10 cycles and work efficiently at a wide p H range(3.87–13.03), avoiding the usage of noble metal. Moreover, the electrochemical active surface area(ECSA) of Fe@MLC is 2.7 times higher than that of commercial Pt/C. This work provides a cheap and efficient catalyst that promotes deconstruction of plastic wastes and indirectly degrades antibiotics thereby realizes the treatment of waste water with waste plastic.

As the capacity of lithium-ion batteries gradually reaches its limit,the high-capacity characteristics of lithium metal batteries(LMBs)make them one of the most promising electrochemical energy storage devices ***,uncontrolled lithium dendrite growth can cause poor cell performance and severe safety issues,seriously slowing down the commercialization of *** metals(TMs)are lithiophilic materials that effectively stabilize lithium metal anode(LMA)and inhibit dendrite ***,the growth of lithium dendrites and the performance of TMs in stabilizing lithium metals are comprehensively discussed in this ***,we elucidated the formation mechanisms of lithium dendrite,and we put forward several strategies to suppress lithium dendrite formation based on the understanding of these ***,the application of TMs and their compounds to stabilize LMA and their corresponding mechanisms are comprehensively ***,further research perspectives of TMs in stabilizing LMA are emphasized in detail.

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)are one of the most compelling alternatives of lithium-ion batteries due to their inherent safety and economics *** response to the growing demand for green and sustainable energy storage solutions,organic electrodes with the scalability from inexpensive starting materials and potential for biodegradation after use have become a prominent choice for *** gratifying progresses of organic molecules with electrochemical performance in AZIBs,the research is still in infancy and hampered by certain issues due to the underlying complex *** for designing organic electrode materials for AZIBs with high specific capacity and long cycling life are discussed in detail in this ***,we put emphasis on the unique electrochemistry of different redox-active structures to provide in-depth understanding of their working *** addition,we highlight the importance of molecular size/dimension regarding their profound impact on electrochemical ***,challenges and perspectives are discussed from the developing point of view for future *** hope to provide a valuable evaluation on organic electrode materials for AZIBs in our context and give inspiration for the rational design of high-performance AZIBs.

In this work,aramid nanoparticles(ANPs)were prepared in dimethyl formamide(DMF)solution containing high impact polystyrene(HIPS)via a bottom-up *** electron microscopy(TEM)images showed that the obtained ANPs were evenly distributed in the HIPS matrix without any *** composition of the ANPs,i.e.,poly(p-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine)(PPTA),was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and X-ray diffractometer(XRD).The ANP/HIPS composites,obtained after ethanol precipitation,were added to neat HIPS as fillers to fabricate ANP/HIPS composite *** surface roughness and the glass transition temperature(T_g)of the sheets were characterized by atomic force microscope(AFM)and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),*** with neat HIPS,the mechanical properties of the composite sheet were significantly improved,and the Young's modulus increased from 246.55 MPa to 2025.12 MPa,the tensile strength increased from 3.07 MPa to 29.76 MPa,and the toughness increased from 0.32 N/mm^2 to 3.92 N/mm^2,with an increase rate of 721%,869%and 1125%,***,the thermal stability of the composites improved with the increase in ANP content.

Background： Development of innovative immunotherapy is imperative to improve the poor survival of the nasopharyngeal carcinoma （NPC） patients. In this study, we evaluated the T cell response to melanoma-associated antigen （MAGE）-A1, MAGE-A3, or synovial sarcoma X-2 （SSX-2） in the peripheral blood of treatment-naive NPC patients. The relationship of responses among the three proteins and the human leukocyte antigen （HLA）-A types were analyzed to provide evidence of designing novel therapy. Methods： Sixty-one NPC patients admitted into the Tumor Hospital affiliated to the Xinjiang Medical University between March 2015 and July 2016 were enrolled. Mononuclear cells were isolated from the peripheral blood before any treatment. HLA-A alleles were typed with Sanger sequence-based typing technique. The T cell response to the MAGE-A1, MAGE-A3, or SSX-2 was evaluated with the Enzyme-Linked ImmunoSpot assay. Mann-Whitney U-test was used to compare the T cell responses from different groups. Spearman＇s rank correlation was used to analyze the relationship of T cell responses. Results： HLA-A＊02：01, A＊02：07, and A＊24：02 were the three most frequent alleles （18.9%, 12.3%, and 11.5%, respectively） among the 22 detected alleles. 31.1%, 19.7%, and 16.4% of the patients displayed MAGE-A1, MAGE-A3, or SSX-2-specific T cell response, respectively. The magnitudes of response to the three proteins were 32.5, 38.0, and 28.7 SFC/106 peripheral blood mononuclear cells, respectively. The T cell response against the three proteins correlated with each other to different extent. The percentage of A＊02：01 and A＊24：02 carriers were significantly higher in patients responding to any of the three proteins compared to the nonresponders. Conclusion： MAGE-A1, MAGE-A3, or SSX-2-specific T cell responses were detectable in a subgroup of NPC patients, the frequency and magnitude of which were correlated.

The safety and stability of high-speed maglev trains traveling on viaducts in crosswinds critically depend on their aerodynamic ***,this paper uses an improved delayed detached eddy simulation(IDDES)method to investigate the aerodynamic features of high-speed maglev trains with different marshaling lengths under *** effects of marshaling lengths(varying from 3-car to 8-car groups)on the train’s aerodynamic performance,surface pressure,and the flow field surrounding the train were investigated using the three-dimensional unsteady compressible Navier-Stokes(N-S)*** results showed that the marshaling lengths had minimal influence on the aerodynamic performance of the head and middle ***,the marshaling lengths are negatively correlated with the time-average side force coefficient(CS)and time-average lift force coefficient(Cl)of the tail *** to the tail car of the 3-car groups,the CS and Cl fell by 27.77%and 18.29%,respectively,for the tail car of the 8-car *** is essential to pay more attention to the operational safety of the head car,as it exhibits the highest time average ***,the mean pressure difference between the two sides of the tail car body increased with the marshaling lengths,and the side force direction on the tail car was opposite to that of the head and middle ***,the turbulent kinetic energy of the wake structure on the windward side quickly decreased as marshaling lengths increased.
