The influence of Al content(0.0053,0.0171,and 0.0578 wt.%)on the modification behavior of non-metallic inclusions in 20CrMoVTiB steel treated with rare earth elements was studied through high-temperature experiments and thermodynamic *** results showed that the modification products varied with the Al content in steel under 0.01 wt.%of Ce *** formation sequence of typical rare earth inclusions in steel with the increase in Al content was Ce_(2)O_(3)→CeAlO_(3)→CeAl_(11)O_(18),and the final stable products were highly Al content *** the Al content was 0.0053 wt.%,the stable phase in steel was Ce2O3;while the[Al]reached 0.0171 wt.%,the stable phase became CeA1O_(3).As the A1 content reached 0.0578 wt.%,CeAl_(11)O_(18) became the stable *** a result,increasing the Al content could inhibit the precipitation of Ce_(2)O_(3) inclusions in steel while promote the formation of CeAIO3 and CeAl_(11)O_(18) *** addition,both Ca treatment and Ce treatment could effectively refine the size of inclusions in steel by changing their ***,the feeding amount of Ca wire into molten steel should be appropriately reduced under the condition of adding Ce simultaneously,which is expected to be beneficial for an improved Ce treatment effect.

Lake Baiyangdian is one of China’s largest macrophyte-derived lakes,facing severe challenges related to water quality maintenance and eutrophication *** organic matter(DOM)was a huge carbon pool and its abundance,property,and transformation played important roles in the biogeochemical cycle and energy flow in lake *** this study,Lake Baiyangdian was divided into four distinct areas:Unartificial Area(UA),Village Area(VA),Tourism Area(TA),and Breeding Area(BA).We examined the diversity of DOM properties and sources across these functional *** findings reveal that DOM in this lake is predominantly composed of protein-like substances,as determined by excitation-emission matrix and parallel factor analysis(EEM-PARAFAC).Notably,the exogenous tyrosine-like component C1 showed a stronger presence in VA and BA compared to UA and ***-resolution mass spectrometry(FT-ICR MS)unveiled a similar DOM molecular composition pattern across different functional areas due to the high relative abundances of lignan compounds,suggesting that macrophytes significantly influence the material structure of *** properties exhibited specific associations with water quality indicators in various functional areas,as indicated by the Mantel *** connections between DOM properties and NO_(3)-N andNH3-Nwere more pronounced in VA and BA than in UA and *** results underscore the viability of using DOM as an indicator for more precise and scientific water quality management.

Deformation properties of remolded loess compacted via vertical vibration compaction method

To investigate the deformation properties of remolded loess subgrade under long-term cyclic dynamic loading, remolded loess specimens compacted via vertical vibration compaction method were produced and some factors influencing elastic strain and cumulative plastic strain, which include the number of vibration cycles, depth, and water content, have been investigated. A prediction model for cumulative plastic deformation was established. In addition, the collapsible deformation properties of remolded loess were investigated. Results indicate that the elastic strain and plastic strain are decreased with increasing vibration cycles and depth and finally tend to be stable when the number of vibration cycles is more than 2000 and the depth exceeds 2.5 m. The elastic strain and cumulative plastic strain of compacted loess are increased by 7.2% and 13.0%, respectively,when the water content increases by 1.0%. The cumulative plastic deformation of remolded loess follows a logarithmic distribution. The elastic deformation and cumulative plastic deformation of loess subgrade are far less than the demands for elastic deformation and post-construction settlement of subgrade. As the compaction coefficient and water content are increased by 1.0%, the collapsibility coefficient of compacted loess is decreased by an average of 13.7% and 14.5%. Such investigations can prevent subgrade diseases and ensure the safety of subgrade filled with loess soils.

Aerosol hygroscopicity and liquid water content(ALWC)have important influences on the environmental and climate effect of *** this study,we measured the hygroscopic growth factors(GF)of particles with dry diameters of 40,80,150,and 200 nm during the wintertime in *** the GF-derived hygroscopicity parameter(κ_(gf))and ALWC increased with particle size,but displayed differing diurnal variations,withκ_(gf)peaking around the midday,while ALWC peaking in the early ***,ammonium and oxygenated organic aerosols(OOA)were found as the chemical components mostly strongly correlated with ALWC.A closure study suggests that during midday photo-oxidation and nighttime high ALWC periods,theκof organic aerosols(κ_(org))was underestimated when using previous ***,we re-constructed parameterizations forκ_(org)and the oxidation level of organics for these periods,which indicates a higher hygroscopicity of photochemically formed OOA than the aqueous OOA,yet both being much higher than the generally assumed OOA ***,in a typical high ALWC episode,concurrently increased ALWC,nitrate,OOA as well as aerosol surface area and mass concentrations were observed under elevated ambient *** strongly indicates a coupled effect that the hygroscopic secondary aerosols,in particular nitratewith strong hygroscopicity,led to large increase in ALWC,which in turn synergistically boosted nitrate and OOA formation by heterogeneous/aqueous *** interaction may represent an important mechanism contributing to enhanced formation of secondary aerosols and rapid growth of fine particulate matter under relatively high RH conditions.

In the independent electro-hydrogen system(IEHS)with hybrid energy storage(HESS),achieving optimal scheduling is ***,it presents a challenge due to the significant deviations in values ofmultiple optimization objective functions caused by their physical *** deviations seriously affect the scheduling process.A novel standardization fusion method has been established to address this issue by analyzing the variation process of each objective function’s *** optimal scheduling results of IEHS with HESS indicate that the economy and overall energy loss can be improved 2–3 times under different optimization *** proposed method better balances all optimization objective functions and reduces the impact of their *** the cost of BESS decreases by approximately 30%,its participation deepens by about 1 ***,if the price of the electrolyzer is less than 15¥/kWh or if the cost of the fuel cell drops below 4¥/kWh,their participation will increase *** study aims to provide a more reasonable approach to solving multi-objective optimization problems.

Palaeowind regime is an important component for reconstructing palaeoclimate and understanding ancient global *** applied the beach-ridge thickness technique(BTT)and the longshore-bar thickness technique(LTT)to reconstruct the Early Cretaceous palaeowind velocities based on depositional records of Tanan Depression in Northeast *** thickness of beach ridges and nearshore bars is the most important parameter for applying the BTT and the LTT *** identified 22 beach ridges and 23 nearshore bars based on drilling cores and wireline-log data in the Tanan *** velocities calculated by using the LTT method ranged from 10.84 to 13.66 m/s,showing a narrower range than those calculated by using the BTT method(7.58–15.93 m/s).We further analyzed the underlying factors causing the difference between the results derived from these two methods based on the sedimentary process of the beach ridge and the nearshore *** reconstructed wind regime was assumed to be the summer monsoon originating from the Mongol-Okhotsk Ocean before it had been completely enclosed,which provides valuable insight into the understanding of the atmospheric circulation in Northeast Asia during the Early Cretaceous.
