Behavioral division is essential for the sustainability and reproduction of honeybee populations. While accumulating evidence has documented that antibiotic exposure interferes with bee behavioral divisions, how the gut microbiome, host physiology, and genetic regulation are implicated in this process remains understudied. Here, by constructing single-cohort colonies, we validated that the gut microbiota varied in composition between age-matched nurse and forager bees. Perturbing the gut microbiota with a low dose of antibiotic retained the gut bacterial size, but the structure of the microbial community continuously diverged from the control group after antibiotic treatment. Fewer foragers were observed in the antibiotic groups in the field experiment. A combinatorial effect of decreased gut metabolic gene repertoires, reduced brain neurotransmitter titers, and downregulated brain immune genes could potentially be related to behavioral tasks transition delay. This work indicates that the disturbance to both the gut microbiome and host physiologies after antibiotic exposure may have implications on social behavior development, highlighting the need for further research focusing on antibiotic pollution threatening the honeybee population's health.

Lithium plating/stripping occurs at the a node/electrolyte interface which involves the flow of electrons from the current collector and the migration of lithium ions from the solid-electrolyte interphase（SEI）.The dual continuous rapid transport of interfacial electron/ion is required for homogeneous Li ***,we propose a strategy to improve the Li metal anode performance by rationally regulating the interfacial electron density and Li ion transport through the SEI *** key technique involves decreasing the interfacial oxygen density of biomass-derived carbon host by regulating the arrangement of the celluloses precursor *** higher specific surface area and lower interfacial oxygen density decrease the local current density and ensure the formation of thin and even SEI film,which stabilized Li+transfer through the Li/electrolyte ***,the improved graphitization and the interconnected conducting network enhance the surface electronegativity of carbon and enable uninterruptible electron *** result is continuous and rapid coupled interfacial electron/ion transport at the anode/electrolyte reaction interface,which facilitates uniform Li deposition and improves Li anode *** Li/C anode shows a high initial Coulombic efficiency of 98% and a long-term lifespan of over 150cycles at a practical low N/P（negative-to-positive） ratio of 1.44 in full cells.

High-energy-density（HED） fuel（*** used JP-10 and RJ-4）,featuring compact 3D polycyclic structure with high strain,is of critical importance for volume-limited military aircraft,since their high density and combustion heat can provide more propulsion *** reduce the reliance on petroleum source,it is highly desirable to develop renewable alternatives for the production of strained polycyclic HED fuel,but which remains a big challenge because of the inaccessibility caused by the high strain,We herein demonstrate a three-step catalytic route towards highly strained C17and C18spirofuel with biomass *** process includes catalytic aldol condensation of renewable cyclohexanone/cyclopentanone with benzaldehyde,catalytic spiro Diels-Alder（D-A） reaction of aldol adduct with isoprene,and catalytic *** key spiro D-A reaction is enabled by the catalysis of heterogeneous Lewis acidic ionic *** chloroaluminate IL,formed by benign urea and AICl3,exhibits good catalytic performance and reusability for this *** eventual hydrodeoxygenation（HDO）over Pd/C and H-Y produces strained tricyclic spirofuel with density>0.93 g/mL,combustion heat>41 MJ/L and freezing point <-40℃,which are better than the properties of tactical fuel ***,it is anticipated that the as-prepared renewable fuels have the potential to replace traditional petroleum-derived HED fuels.

Important advances have been made in research into the mechanism of alcoholic liver disease (ALD) over the past few years,but the role of liver sinusoidal endothelial cell (LSEC) in ALD has not been elucidated adequately. This study was undertaken to investigate the effect of ethanol on fenestrae of LSECs in rats. METHODS: A rat model of alcoholic liver disease was established by means of direct intragastric instillation of ethanol. Fifty-five rats of experimental (35 rats) and control (20) groups were sacrificed at the end of 4,8,12 weeks respectively, and also at the end of 12-week abstinence. After heart perfusion, the liver tissue was fixed and stained with hematoxylin and eosin for observation of serial changes of LSEC-fenestrae under a transmission electron microscope. RESULTS: Normal LESC was flat with a nucleus and organelles arranged regularly. The distal cytoplasm displayed as a lamina with many fenestrae, lacking the basement membrane(BM) underneath the endothelium. At the end of 4-week alcohol feeding, the number of fenestrae decreased at the distal cytoplasm in some LSECs, without the formation of the BM underneath the endothelium. At the end of 8 weeks, the number of fenestrae decreased significantly or even disappeared. The BM began to develop incompletely underneath the endothelium, while the active fibroblast appeared. At the end of 12 weeks, the number of fenestrae decreased more significantly and the complete BM could even be seen. But the changes were mostly limited in the single or adjoining sinus, and fibrosis was scarcely formed. At the end of 12-week abstinence, defenestration and formation of the endothelial BM lightened significantly. CONCLUSIONS:Defenestration and formation of the BM in LSECs develop gradually with the chronic stimulation of ethanol. Hepatic sinusoidal capillarization and fibrosis will be seen if their state is more serious. These early changes, i. e., limited and regional defenestration and capillarization may be the basi

Hydroformylation could convert olefins and syngas （mixture of H2and CO） into aldehydes with a great atomic *** transformation serves as one of the most prominent processes in modern chemical industry, as it provides over 10million tons of aldehydes as feedstock for our daily essential products such as plasticizers, paints, solvents, and pharmaceuticals. This process generally requires efficient yet robust catalyst to realize decent efficacy. Compared with metals such as Co, Ru, and Pd, rhodium （Rh）-based catalysts stand out due to its superior activity even under mild reaction conditions, and dominate over 70%of global hydroformylation processes.
