We conducted a comprehensive review of existing prediction models pertaining to the efficacy of immune-checkpoint inhibitor(ICI)and the occurrence of immune-related adverse events(irAEs).The predictive potential of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio(PLR)in determining ICI effectiveness has been extensively investigated,while limited research has been conducted on predicting ***,the combined model incor-porating NLR and PLR,either with each other or in conjunction with additional markers such as carcinoembryonic antigen,exhibits superior predictive capabilities compared to individual markers *** and PLR are promising markers for clinical *** models ought to incorporate established efficacious models and newly identified ones,thereby constituting a multifactor composite ***,efforts should be made to explore effective clinical application approaches that enhance the predictive accuracy and efficiency.

Spinel MnCo_(2.O_(4) is a promising energy storage candidate as anode materials in lithium-ion batteries owing to synergistic effects of two intrinsic solid-state redox ***,low conductivity,poor rate capacity and rapid capacity fading have seriously impaired its practical *** overcome the inferiorities,urchin-like MnCo_(2.O_(4)@C core–shell nanowire arrays have been fabricated directly within a porous copper current collector via a facile hydrothermal method followed by a chemical vapor deposition carbonization *** a typical nanowire,the core is composed of interconnected MnCo_(2.O_(4)nanoparticles and the shell shows as a thin amorphous carbon *** integrated MnCo_(2.O_(4)@C/Cu structure could act as working anodes without using additives or polymer *** MnCo_(2.O_(4)@C/Cu possesses slightly longer Li-ion insertion/desertion pathway than that of MnCo_(2.O_(4)/Cu,the carbon shell could effectively prevent the pulverization of MnCo_(2.O_(4) and lower down charge transfer resistance and actively participate in Li-ion *** rearrangement of carbon atoms during lithiation/delithiation cycling could inhibit the formation of passive solid electrolyte interphase *** a result,the MnCo_(2.O_(4)@C/Cu electrode presents superior rate capacity(600 mAh·g^(−1) at 1 A·g^(−1)) and better stability(797 mAh·g^(−1) after 2.0 cycles at 100 mA·g^(−1)).The excellent reversible Li ion storage capacity,cycling stability and rate capacity endow MnCo_(2.O_(4)@C/Cu great potential as stable and high output integrated anode materials in Li-ion batteries.

Roping is a severe band-like surface defect that occurs in deformed aluminum alloy *** roping prediction and rating are essential for industrial ***,the authors introduced an artificial neural network(ANN)model to efficiently forecast roping behavior across the thickness of large regions with texture *** this study,the previously proposed ANN model for roping prediction is briefly reviewed,and a few-shot learning(FSL)-based method is developed for roping grading with limited *** consider the directionality of the roping patterns,the roping dataset constructed from experimental observations is transformed into the frequency domain for more compact characterization.A transfer-based FSL method is further presented for grade roping with manifold mixup regularization and the Sinkhorn mapping algorithm.A new component-focused representation is also implemented for data-processing,exploiting the close correlation between roping and power distribution in the frequency *** ultimate FSL method achieved an optimal accuracy of 95.65%in roping classification with only five training samples per class,outperforming four typical FSL *** FSL approach can be applied to grade the roping morphologies predicted by the ANN ***,the combination of prediction and grading using deep learning provides a new paradigm for roping analysis and control.

Modulating surface charge redistribution based on interface and defect engineering has been considered as a resultful means to boost electrocatalytic ***,the mechanism of synergistic regulation of heterojunction and vacancy defects remains ***,a Vs-CoP-CoS_(2./C n-n heterojunction with sulfur vacancies is successfully constructed,which manifests superior electrocatalytic activity for oxygen evolution,as demonstrated by a low overpotential of 170 mV to reach 10 mA/cm^(2..The experimental results and density functional theory calculations testify that the outstanding OER performance of Vs-CoP-CoS_(2./C heterojunction is owed to the synergistic effect of sulfur vacancies and built-in electric field at n-n heterogeneous interface,which accelerates the electron transfer,induces the charge redistribution,and regulates the adsorption energy of active intermediates during the *** study affords a promising means to regulate the electrocatalytic performance by the construction of heterogeneous interfaces and defects,and in-depth explores the synergistic mechanisms of n-n heterojunction and vacancies.

BACKGROUND Chronic renal failure(CRF) patients are predisposed to arrhythmias, while the detailed mechanisms are unclear. We hypothesized the chronic inflammatory state of CRF patients may lead to cardiac sympathetic remodeling, increasing the incidence of ventricular arrhythmia(VA) and sudden cardiac death. And explored the role of atorvastatin and etanercept in this *** A total of 48 rats were randomly divided into sham operation group(Sham group), CRF group, CRF + atorvastatin group(CRF + statin group), and CRF + etanercept group(CRF + rhTNFR-Fcgroup). Sympathetic nerve remodeling was assessed by immunofluorescence of growth-associated protein 43(GAP-43) and tyrosine hydroxylase positive area fraction. Electrophysiological testing was performed to assess the incidence of VA by assessing the ventricular effective refractory period and ventricular fibrillation threshold. The levels of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α) and interleukin-1beta were determined by Western blotting and enzyme-linked immunosorbent *** Echocardiogram showed that compared with the Sham group, left ventricular end-systolic diameter and ventricular weight/body weight ratio were significantly higher in the CRF group. Hematoxylin-eosin and Masson staining indicated that myocardial fibers were broken, disordered, and fibrotic in the CRF group. Western blotting, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,immunofluorescence and electrophysiological examination suggested that compared with the Sham group, GAP-43 and TNF-α proteins were significantly upregulated, GAP-43 and tyrosine hydroxylase positive nerve fiber area was increased, and ventricular fibrillation threshold was significantly decreased in the CRF group. Sequential Latin hypercube designs(SLHDs) have recently received great attention for computer experiments, with much of the research restricted to invariant spaces. The related systematic construction methods are inflexible, and algorithmic methods are ineffective for large designs. For designs in contracting spaces, systematic construction methods have not been investigated yet. This paper proposes a new method for constructing SLHDs via good lattice point sets in various experimental spaces. These designs are called sequential good lattice point(SGLP) sets. Moreover, we provide efficient approaches for identifying the(nearly)optimal SGLP sets under a given criterion. Combining the linear level permutation technique, we obtain a class of asymptotically optimal SLHDs in invariant spaces, where the L1-distance in each stage is either optimal or asymptotically optimal. Numerical results demonstrate that the SGLP set has a better space-filling property than the existing SLHDs in invariant spaces. It is also shown that SGLP sets have less computational complexity and more adaptability.

BACKGROUND The association of different body components,including lean mass and body fat,with the risk of death in acute coronary syndrome(ACS)patients are *** We enrolled adults diagnosed with ACS at our center between January 2.11 and December 2.12.and obtained fol-low-up outcomes via telephone *** used restricted cubic splines(RCS)with the Cox proportional hazards model to analyze the associations between body mass index(BMI),predicted lean mass index(LMI),predicted body fat percentage(BF),and the value of LMI/BF with 10-year *** also examined the secondary outcome of death during *** During the maximum 10-year follow-up of 1398 patients,331 deaths(2..6%)occurred,and a U-shaped relationship was found between BMI and death risk(P_(nonlinearity)=0.03).After adjusting for age and history of diabetes,the overweight group(2.≤BMI2. kg/m^(2.)had the lowest mortality(HR=0.53,95%CI:0.2.-0.99).Predicted LMI and LMI/BF had an inverse linear relationship with a 10-year death risk(P_(nonlinearity)=0.2. and P_(nonlinearity)=0.38,respectively),while an increase in BF was associ-ated with increased mortality(P_(nonlinearity)=0.64).During hospitalization,31 deaths(2.2.)were recorded,and the associations of the indicators with in-hospital mortality were consistent with the long-term outcome *** Our study provides new insight into the“obesity paradox”in ACS patients,highlighting the importance of considering body composition *** LMI and BF may serve as useful tools for assessing nutritional status and predicting the prognosis of ACS,based on their linear associations with all-cause mortality.

Vacancy engineering and Mott-Schottky heterostructure can accelerate charge transfer,regulate adsorption energy of reaction intermediates,and provide additional active sites,which are regarded as valid means for improving catalytic ***,the underlying mechanism of synergistic regulation of interfacial charge transfer and optimization of electrocatalytic activity by combining vacancy and Mott-Schottky junction remains ***,the growth of a bifunctional NiCo/NiCoP Mott-Schottky electrode with abundant phosphorus vacancies on foam nickel(NF)has been synthesized through continuous phosphating and reduction *** obtained NiCo/NiCoP heterojunctions show remarkable OER and HER activities,and the overpotentials for OER and HER are as low as 117 and 60 mV at 10 mA/cm^(2. in 1 mol/L KOH,***,as both the cathode and anode of overall water splitting,the voltage of the bifunctional NiCo/NiCoP electrocatalyst is 1.44 V at 10 mA/cm^(2.,which are far exceeding the benchmark commercial *** theoretical calculation results confirm that the phosphorus vacancies and build-in electric field can effectively accelerate ion and electron transfer between NiCo alloy and NiCoP semiconductor,tailor the electronic structure of the metal centers and lower the Gibbs free energy of the ***,the unique self-supported integrated structure is beneficial to facilitate the exposure of the active site,avoid catalyst shedding,thus improving the activity and structural stability of NiCo/*** study provides an avenue for the controllable synthesis and performance optimization of Mott-Schottky electrocatalysts.

The change of fluorescence emission manipulated by spin state transition attracts considerable attention owing to its potential applications in magneto-optical switching ***,we report two two-dimensional(2.)Hofmann-type spin crossover(SCO)metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)[Fe^(Ⅱ)(PNI)_(2.{Ag^(Ⅰ)(CN)_(2.}_(2.]·CHCl_(3)(3Ag·CHCl_(3))and[FeⅡ(PNI)_(2.{AuⅠ(CN)_(2.}_(2.]·CHCl_(3)(3Au·CHCl_(3))based on the fluorescent ligand N-(4-pyridylmethyl)-1,8-naphthalimide(PNI).Both complexes exhibit interesting SCO behaviors switched by guest solvent molecules,namely three-step transitions for the solvated complexes and complete onestep hysteretic SCO for the desolvated ones,verified by temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility measurements,Mossbauer spectra,structural analyses,and differential scanning calorimetry ***,temperature-dependent fluorescence spectra exhibit double peaks(monomer and excimer emission)with both emission peaks change consistent with the change in SCO properties during the solvent molecule *** this study,we integrated guest-responsive SCO behavior into MOFs to manipulate the multistability of spin state and fluorescence switching,providing a rational strategy for the development of stimuli-responsive multifunctional materials.
