Potassium butyl dithiophosphate （PBD） was developed and introduced as a new chelating agent for heavy metal removal. The synthesized PBD were characterized by IR and NMR. The effects of pH, chelating agent dosage, and other heavy metal ions on the performance of PBD in Cd^2＋ removal from water are investigated. Experimental results showed that the chelating agent could be used to treat acidic heavy metal wastewater. The Cd^2＋ removal was not affected by solution pH value within the range of 2 to 6. The Cd^2＋ removal rate could reach over 99%. Therefore, the deficiency of the precipitation process using hydroxide under alkaline condition can be overcome. Without the need for pH adjustment, the method could save on costs. If Cd^2＋ co-exists with Pb^2＋ and Cu^2＋, the affinity of the chelating agent with these three heavy metal ions was in the order of： Cu^2＋〉 Pb^2＋〉 Cd^2＋. Through PBD chelating precipitation, all the contents of Pb^2＋, Cd^2＋, and Cu^2＋ in wastewater met the standard levels through a one-step treatment. The one-step treatment process was superior to the process （sectional treatment is required） of precipitation with hydroxide. When the pH was between 3 and 11, the amount of leached chelated Cd^2＋ was much lower than that obtained by precipitation with hydroxide. Therefore, the risk of environmental pollution could be further reduced.

Summary of main observation and conclusion A titanium-promoted intramolecular photoenolization/Diels-Alder (PEDA) reaction was developed to construct the core skeleton of aromatic polycyclic terpenoids bearing an all-carbon quaternary center on the benzylic position. Titanium(Ⅳ) isopropoxide [Ti(Oi-Pr)4] plays a key role during the photo cycloaddition, which may help to accelerate the in teraction between dienophile and the stereo-hi ndered diene species as well as control the diastereoselectivity. This photolysis provides a new solution for the stereospecific formation core structures of aromatic abietane diterpenoids and sesquiterpenoids, which have multiple functional groups for the further transformations. As a synthetic application, it was successfully used in the synthesis of indolosesquiterpenoid mycoleptodiscin A.

This paper describes a series of experimental investigations on seventeen specimens of steel reinforced concrete special shaped(SRCSS) columns under low cyclic reversed loading using parallel crosshead equipment. Nine T-shaped SRC columns, four L-shaped SRC columns and four +-shaped SRC columns were tested to examine the effects of shape steel confi guration, loading angle, axial compressive ratio and shear-span ratio on the behavior(strength, stiffness, energy dissipation, ductility, etc.) of SRCSS column specimens. The failure modes and hysteretic performance of all the specimens were obtained in the tests. Test results demonstrate that the shear-span ratio is the main parameter affecting the failure modes of SRCSS columns. The specimens with small shear-span ratio are prone to shear failure, and the primary failure planes in SRCSS columns are parallel to the loading direction. As a result, there is a symmetry between positive and negative loading directions in the hysteretic curves of the SRCSS columns. The majority of displacement ductility coeffi cients for all the specimens are over 3.0, so that the SRCSS columns demonstrate a better deformation capacity. In addition, the equivalent viscous damping coeffi cients of all the specimens are greater than 0.2, indicating that the seismic behavior of SRCSS columns is adequate. Finally, the superposition theory was used to calculate the limits of axial compressive ratio for the specimens, and it is found that the test axial compressive ratio is close to or smaller than the calculated axial compressive ratio limit.

Neuronal nitric oxide synthase(nNOS)was the producer of nitric oxide(NO)which played important gas messenger molecules in biological *** also can take effect as immune regulation molecule in *** rockfish(Sebastes schlegelii)is an important economic fish which were widely farmed in East Asia ***,the pathogenic bacteria such as the Edwardsiella tarda and Vibrio anguillarum in seawater always brought serious obstacles to their healthy *** order to explore the expression pattern of n NOS gene under the pathogen stimulation and predict its immune function,the n NOS gene in black rockfish named Ssn NOS was *** was 3780 bp in length,located on chromosome 6,and contained 27 coding domain sequence(CDs).According to the phylogenetic analysis,the Ssn NOS showed closest relative to the counterpart gene of swamp eel(Monopterus albus).Meanwhile,analysis of Ssn NOS expression in various healthy tissues showed that Ssn NOS expression level was highest in healthy brain tissues,followed by intestinal *** addition,Ssn NOS showed significant expression changes in response to stimulation by two *** in gill,the expression of Ssn NOS after pathogenic stimulation increased *** Elisa analysis showed the Ssn NOS content in gills was much higher than that in other tissues at all time ***,the expression patterns of Ssn NOS in brain,intestine and kidney after stimulation by pathogens showed a distinct expression pattern which first down-regulated and then ***,the Ssn NOS may be an important signaling molecule for fish to respond rapidly in immune stimulation.

Clostridium autoethanogenum protein(CAP)is a new single-cell protein source originating from inactivated *** in vitro digestion experiment and an 8-wk growth experiment were conducted to evaluate the molecular weight distribution of the CAP hydrolysate,and the effects of dietary CAP levels on the growth performance,plasma parameters,hepatic and intestinal health,and the diversity of gutadherent microbiota of largemouth bass(Micropterus salmoides).The fish(initial body weight of 47.99±0.01 g)were fed diets where CAP gradually replaced 0%(CAP0),12.5%(CAP12.5),25%(CAP25),37.5%(CAP37.5)and 50%(CAP50)of low-temperature steam dried anchovy fish meal(LTFM)in the *** showed that the content of peptides below 1,000 Da in the CAP hydrolysate(0.56 mg/mL)was higher than that of the LTFM hydrolysate(0.48 mg/mL).Dietary CAP inclusion had no negative effect on growth performance,while whole-body lipid content significantly reduced in the CAP25 and CAP50 groups(Pminotransferase activities and triglyceride concentrations in the CAP inclusion groups were significantly lower than those in the CAP0 group(Pminotransferase activity was significantly reduced in the CAP37.5 group(Pming growth factor b1(P<0.05)in the *** mRNA levels of acetyl-CoA carboxylase 1 were significantly down-regulated in the CAP12.5,CAP25 and CAP37.5 groups(P<0.05),while that of fatty acid synthase was significantly down-regulated in the CAP50 group(P<0.05).These results demonstrate that dietary CAP inclusion could improve the hepatic and intestinal health of largemouth bass,and can be helpful to further develop CA

Since the scale and uncertainty of the power system have been rapidly increasing,the computation efficiency of constructing the security region boundary(SRB)has become a prominent *** on the topological features of historical operation data,a sample generation method for SRB identification is proposed to generate evenly distributed samples,which cover dominant security *** boundary sample pair(BSP)composed of a secure sample and an unsecure sample is defined to describe the feature of *** resolution,sampling,and span indices are designed to evaluate the coverage degree of existing BSPs on the SRB and generate samples closer to the *** on the feature of flat distribution of BSPs over the SRB,the principal component analysis(PCA)is adopted to calculate the tangent vectors and normal vectors of ***,the sample distribution can be expanded along the tangent vector and corrected along the normal vector to cover different security ***,a sample set is randomly gen-erated based on the IEEE standard example and another new sample set is generated by the proposed *** results indicate that the new sample set is closer to the SRB and covers different security modes with a small calculation time cost.

Sustainable potassium （K） management at different soil sites requires understanding the relationships between crop productivity and long-term K fertilizations on a regional or national scale. We analyzed responses of grain yield of wheat （Triticum aestivurn L.） and maize （Zea mays L.）, K efficiency, and partial balance （difference between K input through fertilizer and K output in the aboveground biomass） during 15- （1990-2005） or 18-year （1990-2008） K fertilizations at five distinctive agroecologicai zones across China. Compared to the inorganic nitrogen （N） and phosphorus （P） fertilization, the inorganic NPK fertilization significantly increased grain yields of wheat （21%） and maize （16% 72%） at Qiyang and Changping, where soils have low exchangeable and non-exchangeable K contents, but not at Uriimqi, Yangling and Zhengzhou, where soils have a high exchangeable and non-exchangeable K and/or low N/K ratio in crop plants. Compared to the inorganic NPK fertilization, the inorganic NPK （30% N） and organic manure （70~~ N） fertilization （NPKM） increased grain yields of wheat （14%-40%） and maize （9%-6170） at four sites, but not at Zhengzhou. For a productivity of wheat at 2-5 t ha-1 or maize at 3-6 t ha 1, 13-26 or 9-17 kg K ha 1 were required to produce 1.0 t wheat or maize. The NP fertilization resulted in the lowest negative partial K balance and accumulated 52 kg K ha-1 year-1 less than the NPK fertilization, which accumulated 28 kg ha 1 year-1 less K than the NPKM fertilization. A re-evaluation of the site-specific fertilization effects on N/K ratio in crop plants and soil K accumulation under current NPK and NPKM t＇ertilization is urgently needed to increase both crop yield and K use efficiency at different agroecologicai zones across China.
