Phylogeny of Trigonotis in China-with a special reference to its nutlet morphology and plastid genome

The genus Trigonotis comprises nearly 60 species mainly distributed in East and Southeast *** has the largest number of Trigonotis species in the world,with a total of 44 species,of which 38 are *** morphology is useful for the taxonomic delimitation of ***,there are still controversial circumscriptions of nutlet shape in some *** previous studies,interspecies phylogenetic relationships were inferred using few DNA markers and very few taxa,which possibly led to erroneous or incomplete *** this study,the nutlet morphology of 39 Trigonotis taxa and the characteristics of 34 complete chloroplast genomes(29 taxa)were investigated and ***,the phylogenetic relationships were discussed within this genus based on complete chloroplast *** the best of our knowledge,this study is the first comprehensive analysis of nutlet morphology and complete chloroplast genome of *** on nutlet morphology,Trigonotis can be divided into two groups:Group 1,hemispherical or oblique tetrahedron with carpopodiums,and Group 2,inverted tetrahedron without *** chloroplast genome of Trigonotis exhibited a typical quadripartite structure,including 84-86 protein-coding,37 transfer RNA,and 8 ribosomal RNA genes,with a total length of 147,247-148,986 *** in the junctions were well conserved in Trigonotis,similar to those in other Boraginaceae ***,Trigonotis chloroplast genomes showed relatively high diversity,with more conserved genic regions than intergenic regions;in addition,we detected 14 hot spots(Pi>0.005)in non-coding *** analyses based on chloroplast genome data identified highly resolved relationships between Trigonotis ***,Trigonotis was divided into two clades with strong support:one clade included species with hemispherical or oblique tetrahedron nutlets with carpopodiums and bracts,whereas the other clade included species with inverted te

Pathogenesis of acute lung injury in rats with severe acute pancreatitis

BACKGROUND: Acute lung injury (ALI) is the most common and severe complication of severe acute pancreatitis (SAP). The elucidation of the mechanism of ALI contributes to the diagnosis and treatment of the illness. In this study, we studied the pathogenesis of ALI in rats with severe acute pancreatitis. METHODS: The rats were sacrificed at 1, 3, 5, 6, 9 and 12 hours after the establishment of the model of SAP. Pancreas and lung tissues were obtained for pathological study, and examination of microvascular permeability and myeloperoxidase (MPO) examination. The gene expressions of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) in the pancreas and lung tissues were detected by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). RESULTS: After the establishment of the SAP model, the degree of pancreatic and lung injury increased gradually along with the gradual increase of MPO activity and micro-vascular permeability. Gene expressions of TNF-α and ICAM-1 in the pancreas rose at 1 hour and peaked at 7 hours. In contrast, their gene expression in the lungs rose slightly at 1 hour and peaked at 9-12 hours. CONCLUSION: An obvious time window existed between SAP and lung injury, which is beneficial to the early prevention of the development of ALI.

Bearing Fault Diagnosis Based on the Markov Transition Field and SE-IShufflenetV2 Model

A bearing fault diagnosis method based on the Markov transitionﬁeld(MTF)and SEnet(SE)-IShufﬂenetV2 model is proposed in this paper due to the problems of complex working conditions,low fault diagnosis accuracy,and poor generalization of rolling ***,MTF is used to encode one-dimensional time series vibration sig-nals and convert them into time-dependent and unique two-dimensional feature ***,the generated two-dimensional dataset is fed into the SE-IShufﬂenetV2 model for training to achieve fault feature extraction and classiﬁ*** paper selects the bearing fault datasets from Case Western Reserve University and Paderborn University to experimentally verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed *** generalization performance of the proposed method is tested under the variable load condition and different signal-to-noise ratios(SNRs).The experimental results show that the average accuracy of the proposed method under different working conditions is 99.2%without adding *** accuracy under different working conditions from 0 to 1 HP is 100%.When the SNR is 0 dB,the average accuracy of the proposed method can still reach 98.7%under varying working ***,the bearing fault diagnosis method proposed in this paper is characterized by high accuracy,strong anti-noise ability,and ***,the proposed method can also overcome the inﬂuence of variable working conditions on diagnosis accuracy,providing method support for the accurate diagnosis of bearing faults under strong noise and variable working conditions.

INTRODUCTION8 normal and 36 senile cataractous human lenses were observedby Philips SEM 505 and TEM 400T. The results indicate that incontrast to the normal lenses, the EDAX spectra of senilecataractous lenses show strong P peak and weak S peak i.e., ahigh P/S ratio, as well as strong Na and Ca peaks in the sameregion. The EDAX mapping of P, Na and Ca reveals that they arecorrelated to the degenerative areas of the lens fibers.

N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A), the most prevalent and conserved RNA modification in eukaryotic cells, profoundly influences virtually all aspects of mRNA metabolism. mRNA plays crucial roles in neural stem cell genesis and neural regeneration, where it is highly concentrated and actively involved in these processes. Changes in m^(6)A modification levels and the expression levels of related enzymatic proteins can lead to neurological dysfunction and contribute to the development of neurological diseases. Furthermore, the proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cells, as well as nerve regeneration, are intimately linked to memory function and neurodegenerative diseases. This paper presents a comprehensive review of the roles of m^(6)A in neural stem cell proliferation, differentiation, and self-renewal, as well as its implications in memory and neurodegenerative diseases. m^(6)A has demonstrated divergent effects on the proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cells. These observed contradictions may arise from the time-specific nature of m^(6)A and its differential impact on neural stem cells across various stages of development. Similarly, the diverse effects of m^(6)A on distinct types of memory could be attributed to the involvement of specific brain regions in memory formation and recall. Inconsistencies in m^(6)A levels across different models of neurodegenerative disease, particularly Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease, suggest that these disparities are linked to variations in the affected brain regions. Notably, the opposing changes in m^(6)A levels observed in Parkinson's disease models exposed to manganese compared to normal Parkinson's disease models further underscore the complexity of m^(6)A's role in neurodegenerative processes. The roles of m^(6)A in neural stem cell proliferation, differentiation, and self-renewal, and its implications in memory and neurodegenerative diseases, appear contradictory. EZH2-dependent myelination following sciatic nerve injury

The Study of Geodynamics System of Sedimentary Basin at North Liaoning,West Liaoning, and South Songliao Basin

Many faulted Mesozoic basins have been defined in northeast China. During the late Early Cretaceous the huge depressed basins were formed. These faulted and depressed basins are located in three areas,Songliao, north Liaoning and west Liaoning. Corresponding with the basin type, the petroleum deposits range between the oil and gas. In Songliao Basin, the faulted basin contains gas, and depressed basin has oil. In north Liaoning area, the faulted basin stores gas, but the depressed basin doesn’t contain oil. In west Liaoning area, there is no petroleum deposit in the faulted basin at all. The authors note that petroleum depositions are related to basin type. Furthermore, the basin formation and developmental processes are controlled by the basin geodynamic system. Base upon the geo science study in the south Songliao Basin, north and west Liaoning areas, this article discusses a few issues of geodynamic system.

Preparation of Co/S co-doped carbon catalysts for excellent methylene blue degradation

S and Co co-doped carbon catalysts were prepared via pyrolysis of MOF-71 and thiourea mixtures at 800℃at a mass ratio of MOF-71 to thiourea of 1:0.1 to effectively activate peroxymonosulfate(PMS)for methylene blue(MB)*** effects of two different mixing routes were identified on the MB degradation ***,the catalyst obtained by the alcohol solvent evaporation(MOF-AEP)mixing route could degrade 95.60%MB(50 mg/L)within 4 min(degradation rate:K=0.78 min^(-1)),which was faster than that derived from the direct grinding method(MOF-DGP,80.97%,K=0.39 min^(-1)).X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy revealed that the Co-S content of MOF-AEP(43.39at%)was less than that of MOF-DGP(54.73at%),and the proportion of C-S-C in MOF-AEP(13.56at%)was higher than that of MOF-DGP(10.67at%).Density functional theory calculations revealed that the adsorption energy of Co for PMS was -2.94 eV when sulfur was doped as C-S-C on the carbon skeleton,which was higher than that when sulfur was doped next to cobalt in the form of Co-S bond(-2.86 eV).Thus,the C-S-C sites might provide more contributions to activate PMS compared with ***,the degradation parameters,including pH and MOF-AEP dosage,were ***,radical quenching experiments and electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)measurements revealed that ^(1)O_(2)might be the primary catalytic species,whereas·O~(2-)might be the secondary one in degrading MB.
