The endochondral ossification of hindlimb is essential to a bird’s ability to stand,walk and *** hindlimb is ossified in the embryos before hatching in precocial ***,the molecular mechanisms of hindlimb ossification in birds is still ***,we tried to examine the process of hindlimb ossification and its molecular regulation by using an animal model—Japanese Quail(Coturnix japonica).We selected four critical stages(Embryo Day:E6,E8,E12.and E16) of skeletal development of embryonic quails for hindlimb skeleton staining to show the process of endochondral ossification and to examine the molecular regulation of endochondral osteogenesis by RNA-Seq *** results showed that ossification became increased with embryonic development and most hindlimb was ossified before ***-Seq analysis revealed that various signaling pathways were involved with endochondral ossification with thyroid hormone signaling and WNT signaling pathway particularly ***,the expression levels of 42.genes were continuously upregulated and 14 genes were continuously downregulated from E6 to *** present study might provide new insights into complex molecular mechanisms in regulation of endochondral ossification.

Neutron-skin thickness is a key parameter for a neutron-rich nucleus;however,it is difficult to *** the framework of the Lanzhou Quantum Molecular Dynamics(LQMD)model,a possible probe for the neutron-skin thickness(δ_(np))of neutron-rich ^(48)Ca was studied in the 140A MeV ^(48)Ca+^(9)Be projectile fragmentation reaction based on the parallel momentum distribution(p∥)of the residual fragments.A Fermi-type density distribution was employed to initiate the neutron density distributions in the LQMD simulations.A combined Gaussian function with different width parameters for the left side(Γ_(L))and the right side(Γ_(R))in the distribution was used to describe the p∥of the residual *** neutron-rich sulfur isotopes as examples,Γ_(L) shows a sensitive correlation withδ_(np) of ^(48)Ca,and is proposed as a probe for determining the neutron skin thickness of the projectile nucleus.

Anther dehiscence is a crucial event in plant reproduction,tightly regulated and dependent on the lignification of the anther *** this study,we investigated the rapid lignification process that ensures timely anther dehiscence in *** findings reveal that endothecium lignification can be divided into two distinct *** Phase Ⅰ,lignin precursors are synthesized without polymerization,while Phase Ⅱ involves simultaneous synthesis of lignin precursors and *** transcription factors MYB2.,NST1/2.and ARF17 specifically regulate the pathway responsible for the synthesis and polymerization of lignin monomers in Phase Ⅱ.MYB2.-NST1/2.is the key regulatory pathway responsible for endothecium lignification,while ARF17 facilitates this process by interacting with ***,our results demonstrate that the lignification of the endothecium,which occurs within approximately 2. h,is much faster than that of the vascular *** findings provide valuable insights into the regulation mechanism of rapid lignification in the endothecium,which enables timely anther dehiscence and successful pollen release during plant reproduction.

BACKGROUND Deep learning provides an efficient automatic image recognition method for small bowel(SB)capsule endoscopy(CE)that can assist physicians in ***,the existing deep learning models present some unresolved *** To propose a novel and effective classification and detection model to automatically identify various SB lesions and their bleeding risks,and label the lesions accurately so as to enhance the diagnostic efficiency of physicians and the ability to identify high-risk bleeding *** The proposed model represents a two-stage method that combined image classification with object ***,we utilized the improved ResNet-50 classification model to classify endoscopic images into SB lesion images,normal SB mucosa images,and invalid ***,the improved YOLO-V5 detection model was utilized to detect the type of lesion and its risk of bleeding,and the location of the lesion was *** constructed training and testing sets and compared model-assisted reading with physician *** The accuracy of the model constructed in this study reached 98.96%,which was higher than the accuracy of other systems using only a single *** sensitivity,specificity,and accuracy of the model-assisted reading detection of all images were 99.17%,99.92.,and 99.86%,which were significantly higher than those of the endoscopists’*** image processing time of the model was 48 ms/image,and the image processing time of the physicians was 0.40±0.2. s/image(P<0.001).CONCLUSION The deep learning model of image classification combined with object detection exhibits a satisfactory diagnostic effect on a variety of SB lesions and their bleeding risks in CE images,which enhances the diagnostic efficiency of physicians and improves the ability of physicians to identify high-risk bleeding groups.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),a prevalent solid carcinoma of significant concern,is an aggressive and often fatal disease with increasing global incidence rates and poor therapeutic *** etiology and pathological progression of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)-related HCC is multifactorial and ***,no single animal model can accurately mimic the full NASH-related HCC pathological progression,posing considerable challenges to transition and mechanistic ***,a novel conditional inducible wild-type human HRAS overexpressed mouse model(HRAS-HCC)was established,demonstrating 100%morbidity and mortality within approximately one month under normal dietary and lifestyle *** symptoms of HCC such as ascites,thrombus,internal hemorrhage,jaundice,and lung metastasis were successfully replicated in ***-depth pathological features of NASH-related HCC were demonstrated by pathological staining,biochemical analyses,and typical marker gene *** murine anti-PD-1 and sorafenib treatment effectively prolonged mouse survival,further confirming the accuracy and reliability of the *** on protein-protein interaction(PPI)network and RNA sequencing analyses,we speculated that overexpression of HRAS may initiate the THBS1-COL4A3.axis to induce NASH with severe fibrosis,with subsequent progression to ***,our study successfully duplicated natural sequential progression in a single murine model over a very short period,providing an accurate and reliable preclinical tool for therapeutic evaluations targeting the NASH to HCC continuum.

The gut microbiota significantly influences host physiology and provides essential ecosystem *** diet can affect the composition of the gut microbiota,the gut microbiota can also help the host adapt to specific dietary *** carrion crow(Corvus corone),an urban facultative scavenger bird,hosts an abundance of pathogens due to its scavenging *** this,carrion crows infrequently exhibit illness,a phenomenon related to their unique physiological *** present,however,the role of the gut microbiota remains incompletely *** this study,we performed a comparative analysis using 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing technology to assess colonic content in carrion crows and 16 other bird species with different diets in Beijing,*** findings revealed that the dominant gut microbiota in carrion crows was primarily composed of Proteobacteria(75.51%)and Firmicutes(2..3.%).Significant differences were observed in the relative abundance of Enterococcus faecalis among groups,highlighting its potential as a biomarker of facultative scavenging behavior in carrion ***,*** isolated from carrion crows was transplanted into model mice to explore the protective effects of this bacterial community against Salmonella enterica *** showed that *** down-regulated the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α),interferon gamma(IFN-γ),and interleukin 6(IL-6),prevented *** colonization,and regulated the composition of gut microbiota in mice,thereby modulating the host’s immune regulatory ***,*** exerts immunoregulatory and anti-pathogenic functions in carrion crows engaged in scavenging behavior,offering a representative case of how the gut microbiota contributes to the protection of hosts with specialized diets.
