Metal-free defective carbon materials with abundant active sites have been widely studied as low-cost and efficient oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)electrocatalysts in metal-air ***,the active sites in defective carbon are easily subjected to serious oxidation or hydroxylation during ORR or storage,leading to rapid degradation of ***,we design a van der Waals heterostructure comprised of vitamin C(VC)and defective carbon(DC)to not only boost the activity but also enhance the durability and storage stability of the DC-VC *** formation of VC van der Waals between DC and VC is demonstrated to be an effective strategy to protect the defect active sites from oxidation and hydroxylation degradation,thus significantly enhancing the electrochemical durability and storage anti-aging ***,the DC-VC van der Waals can reduce the reaction energy barrier to facilitate the *** findings are also confirmed by operando Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and density functional theory *** is necessary to mention that the preparation of this DC-VC electrocatalyst can be scaled up,and the ORR performance of the largely produced electrocatalyst is demonstrated to be very ***,the DC-VC-based aluminum-air batteries display very competitive power density with good performance maintenance.

The high intraspecies heterogeneity of Baciillus coagulans leads to significant phenotypic differences among different ***,6 *** strains were tested in the present study using an irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)animal model to determine whether the IBS-alleviating effects of *** strains are *** results of this study showed that the ingestion of *** GBI-30,6086,and *** CCFM1.41.significantly alleviated IBS symptoms in *** contrast,other *** strains showed no or limited alleviating effects on IBS *** to our experimental results,the two main common features of these strains were as follows:1.The resistance of vegetative cells to bile salts,and 2)ability to synthesize specific lipids and secondary *** strains based on these two indicators may greatly reduce costs and provide a basis for mining new functional *** *** results also suggest that administration of *** could significantly regulate microbiota dysbiosis in animal ***,the close relationships between the gut microbiota,gut microbiota metabolites,and IBS were further confirmed in this study.

BACKGROUND:Disseminated intravascular coagulation(DIC)is associated with increased mortality in sepsis *** this study,we aimed to assess the clinical ability of sepsis-induced coagulopathy(SIC)and sepsis-associated coagulopathy(SAC)criteria in identifying overt-DIC and preDIC status in sepsis ***:Data from 41. sepsis patients were retrospectively collected from July 201. to December *** performances of the SIC and SAC were assessed to identify overt-DIC on days 1.3,7,or *** SIC status or SIC score on day 1.the SAC status or SAC score on day 1.and the sum of the SIC or SAC scores on days 1.and 3 were compared in terms of their ability to identify *** SIC or SAC status on day 1.was evaluated as a pre-DIC indicator for anticoagulant ***:On day 1.the incidences of coagulopathy according to overt-DIC,SIC and SAC criteria were 1..7%,22.0%and 31.5%,*** specificity of SIC for identifying overt-DIC was significantly higher than that of the SAC criteria from day 1.to day 1.(P1.the SIC score with a cut-off value>3 had a significantly higher sensitivity(72.00%)and area under the curve(AUC)(0.69)in identifying pre-DIC than did the SIC or SAC status(sensitivity:SIC status 44.00%,SAC status 52.00%;AUC:SIC status 0.62,SAC status 0.61..The sum of the SIC scores on days 1.and 3 had a higher AUC value for identifying the pre-DIC state than that of SAC(0.79 vs.0.69,P1..Favorable effects of anticoagulant therapy were observed in SIC(adjusted hazard ratio[HR]=0.21.,95%confidence interval[95%CI]:0.060–0.783,P=0.01.)and SAC(adjusted HR=0.1.6,95%CI:0.041.0.51.,P=0.003).CONCLUSION:The SIC and SAC seem to be valuable for predicting *** sum of SIC scores on days 1.and 3 has the potential to help identify pre-DIC.

Sublacustrine fan is an important element in continental lacustrine basins and is significant for reservoir exploration. Oil and gas resources have been found in the sublacustrine fan sandstone reservoirs of the Paleogene Dongying Formation in the Bohai Sea. In this study, the characteristics of the sublacustrine fan reservoirs and the controlling factors are studied using information from logging, cores, physical properties,casting thin sections, X-ray diffraction of clay minerals, vitrinite reflectance, rock pyrolysis, manometry data,and 3D seismic data. The sublacustrine fans of the Dongying Formation in the LD1., QHD34, and BZ21.structures show high-quality reservoirs with porosity >1. % and permeability >5 m D. The main controlling factors of the high-quality reservoirs are attributed to the favorable sedimentary facies type and negligible compaction,and cementation, substantial dissolution of K-feldspar, overpressure, and the development of faults and fractures. A high-quality sublacustrine fan reservoir model has been established to explain how these factors affected the physical properties. The favorable targets for oil and gas exploration in the Dongying Formation of Bohai Sea include undercompacted sandy debris flow reservoirs showing the dissolution of K-feldspar, and the reservoirs which are connected to the source rocks by faults. This study provides insights to establish the relationship between sedimentology, diagenesis and reservoir quality. The results of this study are significant for the exploration and development of the sublacustrine fan sandstone reservoirs in the Bohai Sea and analogous sandstone reservoirs elsewhere.

GPCRs are dominant targets for approved drugs and the discovery of lead compound targeting them is still ***-based screening technique is a promising platform to uncover GPCR ***,the intrinsic activities of them are seldom simultaneously determined during the *** beta2-adrenoceptor(β2AR)as a probe,this work created a strategy for screening GPCR ligands with simultaneous characterization of their downstream G protein binding responses associated with *** strategy included(i)the design and expression of a protein miniature formed byβ2AR and G proteinα-subunit(Gαs)using circularly permuted HaloTag(cpHalo)as a flexible linker;(ii)immobilization of the miniature onto silica gel by a click dehalogenation reaction;(iii)systematic characterization of the immobilized miniature by fluorescent and chromatographic studies,and(iv)simulating of ligand-inducedβ2AR-Gαs signaling cascade by chromatographic assays using GTP as an *** immobilized miniature exhibited specificity toβ2AR and Gαs antibodies and *** specificity is stable at least within fifteen days with the variation less than 1..The intrinsic activities ofβ2AR ligands were distinguished by the changes of GTP chromatographic behaviors on Gαs-cpHalo-β2AR *** strengthened the binding affinity and kinetics of GTP with Gαs,while antagonist did not give any effect on *** the intrinsic activity evaluation,we believe,it will improve the attributes of chromatographic methods for drug discovery efforts with minimizing false-positive results.

Reducing the short-circuit rate and increasing the effective discharge rate are important targets for improving the servo control effect of micro-electrical discharge machining(micro-EDM),as these two indicators are closely related to the machining efficiency and *** this study,a feed-pulse collaborative control(FPCC)method is proposed for micro-EDM based on two dimensions(space and time).In the spatial dimension,a feed control strategy with a discharge holding process is ***,in the time dimension,a forward-looking pulse control strategy is adopted,in which the pulse interval is adjusted based on a sequence analysis of feed commands and discharge *** experiments are carried out to determine the key parameters used in this method,including the discharge holding threshold and pulse interval adjustment value(T_(off_(adj))).The feed smoothness and discharge sufficiency analyses of the experimental results show that compared to the traditional double threshold average voltage method,the FPCC method reduces the number of long-distance retreats by 64%and improves the effective discharge time by 40%.

Enhancing dielectric properties and energy storage performance of polyvinylidene fluoride composite by surface-modified AgNbO_(3) nanoparticles
