The present paper represents the syntheses of polypropyloxymethyldithia 15-crown-5 and 18-crown-6 supported on silica and their platinum complexes. The platinum complexes are effective catalysts for the hydrosilylation of olefins with triethoxysilane. The influences of temperature, amount of platinum complexes used and the nature of olefins used on the catalytic activity of the complexes are also investigated in this paper.

FSO_(2)CF_(2)CO_(2)Me(MFSDA)是陈庆云院士课题组于1989年开发的一种十分有效的三氟甲基化试剂,在学术界和工业界有着广泛地应用,是我国有机氟化学领域早期最重要的研究成果之一,该试剂也被命名为“陈试剂”.此研究采用密度泛函理论(DFT)方法研究了碘化亚铜介导“陈试剂”形成三氟甲基亚铜的反应机理.计算结果揭示了反应中碘化亚铜催化剂的双重作用:一方面碘负离子通过进攻“陈试剂”中具有亲电性的甲基启动反应;另一方面一价铜阳离子络合物捕获原位生成二氟卡宾形成二氟卡宾亚铜中间体.发现与过去普遍假设的机理不同,(1)关键的脱羧过程并不需要一价铜阳离子参与,(2)三氟甲基是通过二氟卡宾亚铜中间体与氟离子络合后形成,而非二氟卡宾直接捕获氟离子.研究结果丰富了对“陈试剂”形成三氟甲基源的认识,为进一步开发基于“陈试剂”的新反应提供了理论依据.

Methane, an abundant one-carbon（C1） resource, is extensively used in the industrial production of vital fuels and value-added chemicals. However, current industrial methane conversion technologies are energy-and carbon-intensive, mainly due to the high activation energy required to break the inert C–H bond, low selectivity, and problematic side reactions, including CO2emissions and coke deposition. Electrochemical conversion of methane（ECM） using intermittent renewable energy offers an attractive solution, due to its modular reactor design and operational flexibility across a broad spectrum of temperatures and pressures. This review emphasizes conversion pathways of methane in various reaction systems, highlighting the significance and advantages of ECM in facilitating a sustainable artificial carbon cycle. This work provides a comprehensive overview of conventional methane activation mechanisms and delineates the complete pathways of methane conversion in electrolysis contexts. Based on surface/interface chemistry, this work systematically analyzes proposed reaction pathways and corresponding strategies to enhance ECM efficiency towards various target products, including syngas, hydrocarbons, oxygenates, and advanced carbon materials. The discussion also encompasses opportunities and challenges for the ECM process, including insights into ECM pathways, rational electrocatalyst design, establishment of benchmarking protocols, electrolyte engineering, enhancement of CH4conversion rates, and minimization of CO2emission.

BACKGROUND: There is no large-cohort report on living donor liver transplantation (LDLT) for biliary atresia (BA) patients from the mainland of China. This single-center study describes our initial experience with 43 LDLTs for BA patients aged two years or younger. METHODS: In this study, the eligibility criteria were BA as the primary diagnosis and two years of age or younger. From October 2006 to December 2010, the clinical data of 43 LDLTs, including pre-operative evaluations, surgical techniques, postoperative complications and outcomes of donors and recipients, were retrospectively analyzed. RESULTS: Donor graft type was the left lateral segment with compatible ABO blood groups. Forty-three recipients were selected in this study. The median patient age at operation was 9 months (range 6-24), and the median body weight was 8 kg (range 5.7-12.5). Fourteen (32.6%) recipients received Kasai operations before liver transplantation. The overall one- and two-year cumulative survival rates for grafts and recipients were 81%, 81% and 76%, 76%, respectively. No donor mortality was encountered, with a minimal morbidity and no long- term sequelae. Nine out of 43 recipients died. Postoperative complications of recipients were biliary leakage and refluxing cholangitis (11/43, 25.6%), hepatic artery thrombosis (4, 9.3%), pulmonary infections (4, 9.3%), portal vein thrombosis (3, 7.0%), wound disruption (3, 7.0%), acute rejection (3, 7.0%), cytomegalovirus infection (2, 4.7%), and intra-abdominal bleeding (1, 2.3%).CONCLUSION: Despite the relatively low survival rates due to lack of experience initially, LDLT still provides encouraging outcomes for pediatric recipients with BA, even small children under two years old.

The synthesis of carbon supporter/nanoscale high-entropy alloys(HEAs)electromagnetic response composites by carbothermal shock method has been identified as an advanced strategy for the collaborative competition engineering of conductive/dielectric *** migration modes within HEAs as manipulated by the electronegativity,valence electron configurations and molar proportions of constituent elements determine the steady state and efficiency of equivalent ***,enlightened by skin-like effect,a reformative carbothermal shock method using carbonized cellulose paper(CCP)as carbon supporter is used to preserve the oxygencontaining functional groups(O·)of carbonized cellulose fibers(CCF).Nucleation of HEAs and construction of emblematic shell-core CCF/HEAs heterointerfaces are inextricably linked to carbon metabolism induced by O·.Meanwhile,the electron migration mode of switchable electronrich sites promotes the orientation polarization of anisotropic equivalent *** virtue of the reinforcement strategy,CCP/HEAs composite prepared by 35%molar ratio of Mn element(CCP/HEAs-Mn_(2.15))achieves efficient electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption of−51.35 dB at an ultra-thin thickness of 1.03 *** mechanisms of the resulting dielectric properties of HEAs-based EMW absorbing materials are elucidated by combining theoretical calculations with experimental characterizations,which provide theoretical bases and feasible strategies for the simulation and practical application of electromagnetic functional devices(e.g.,ultra-wideband bandpass filter).

三氟甲基自由基源(·CF_3)是发展自由基三氟甲基化反应的基础.采用密度泛函理论(M06-2X),系统研究35个常见三氟甲基源释放CF_3自由基的能力(TR·DA:trifluoromethyl radical donor ability)及可能的途径.计算结果表明, 35个三氟甲基源通过化学键均裂释放三氟甲基自由基所需能量跨度为-21.5至95.2 kcal·mol^(-1).单电子转移、卤键和硫键给体(halogen/chalcogen-bonddonor)可促进CF_3自由基释放.相关研究结果将有助于理解和设计新自由基三氟甲基化试剂和反应.

Patients with complete spinal cord injury retain the potential for volitional muscle activity in muscles located below the spinal injury ***,because of prolonged inactivity,initial attempts to activate these muscles may not effectively engage any of the remaining neurons in the descending pathway.A previous study unexpectedly found that a brief clinical round of passive activity significantly increased volitional muscle activation,as measured by surface *** this study,we further explored the effect of passive activity on surface electromyographic signals during volitional control tasks among individuals with complete spinal cord *** patients with chronic complete thoracic spinal cord injury were *** electromyography data from eight major leg muscles were acquired and compared before and after the passive activity *** results indicated that the passive activity led to an increased number of activated volitional muscles and an increased frequency of *** the cumulative root mean square of surface electromyography amplitude for volitional control of movement showed a slight increase after passive activity,the difference was not statistically *** findings suggest that brief passive activity may enhance the ability to initiate volitional muscle activity during surface electromyography tasks and underscore the potential of passive activity for improving residual motor control among patients with motor complete spinal cord injury.
