Reduced exciton binding energy and diverse molecular stacking enable high-performance organic solar cells with V_(OC)over 1.1 V

High-voltage organic solar cells(OSCs)have received increasing attention because of their promising applications in tandem devices and indoor photovoltaics,but the trade-off between energy loss and charge generation induced by exciton binding energy(E_(b))has become one of the biggest bottlenecks limiting the development of this ***,a wide bandgap(WbG)nonfullerene acceptor bTA503 with reduced E_(b) is designed by changing the phenyl side chain on the central core of Cl-bTA5 to an alkyl *** diverseπ-πinteractions and enhanced molecular stacking of bTA503 are responsible for its reduced E_(b).Furthermore,both the diminished charge recombination and the fast exciton dissociation caused by the small E_(b) favor the generation of more charge carriers for the PTQ10:bTA503 *** efficient Forster resonance energy transfer(FRET)and multiple π-π stacking patterns provide additional charge transfer and transport ***,the PTQ10:bTA503-based OSC device achieves a V_(OC)of 1.112 V and a PCE of 12.70%,which is higher than that of PTQ10:Cl-bTA5(PCE=10.92%).Simultaneously,the thick film(~300 nm)binary device of PTQ10:bTA503 achieves a PCE of 10.13% with a V_(OC)of 1.102 V,which is the best result for thick film high-voltage *** importantly,the ternary device of PTQ10:bTA503:Cl-bTA5(1:0.9:0.1)realizes a champion PCE of 13.12% with a V_(OC)of 1.126 *** study demonstrates that it is an effective strategy to reduce E_(b) of A_(2)-A_(1)-D-A_(1)-A_(2) type WbG acceptors by modulating the side chains on D unit,which further favors the corresponding devices to obtain world-record PCE and improves their potential for commercial applications.

Ordovician reservoirs in Fuxian area:Gas accumulation patterns and their implications for the exploration of lower Paleozoic carbonates in the southern Ordos basin

In recent years,the Fuxian area in the southeastern Ordos basin has undergone significant exploration,with industrial gas flow tested in wells drilled into the Ordovician marine *** this,the gas accumulation patterns of this area are not fully understood,posing challenges for further *** analysis of geological conditions indicates that the Ordovician Majiagou Formation in this area hosts two gas plays:one found in weathering crusts and the other found in interior of the *** investigated various typical gas reservoirs in the area,focusing on differentiating the geological conditions and factors controlling gas accumulation in the weathering-crust and interior gas *** results suggest three primary gas accumulation patterns in the Majiagou Formation in the Fuxian area:(1)upper gas accumulation in weathering crusts,present in the high parts of landforms such as residual paleo-hills or buried paleo-platform(Pattern I);(2)the stereoscopic pattern with gas accumulation in both weathering crusts and strata interior,arising in high parts of landforms such as residual paleo-hills or buried paleo-platforms(Pattern II);(3)lower gas accumulation in strata interior,occurring in the upper reaches and on both sides of paleo-trenches(Pattern III).This study will serve as a geological basis for future exploration deployment in the Fuxian area.

Experimental investigation for temperature and emissivity by flame emission spectrum in a cavity of rocket based combined cycle combustor chamber

Flame temperature and spectral emissivity were the important parameters characterizing the sufficient degree of fuel combustion and the particle radiative characteristics in the Rocket based Combined Cycle (RbCC) combustor. To investigate the combustion characteristics of the complex supersonic flame in the RbCC combustor, a new radiation thermometry combined with Levenberg-Marquardt (LM) algorithm and the least squares method was proposed to measure the temperature, emissivity and spectral radiative properties based on the flame emission spectrum. In-situ measurements of the flame temperature, emissivity and spectral radiative properties were carried out in the RbCC direct-connected test bench with laser-induced plasma combustion enhancement (LIPCE) and without LIPCE. The flame average temperatures at fuel global equivalence ratio (a) of 1.0b and 0.6 with LIPCE were 4.51% and 2.08% higher than those without LIPCE. The flame combustion oscillation of kerosene tended to be stable in the recirculation zone of cavity with the thermal and chemical effects of laser induced plasma. The differences of flame temperature at a = 1.0b and 0.6 were 503 K and 523 K with LIPCE, which were 20.07% and 42.64% lower than those without LIPCE. The flame emissivity with methane assisted ignition was 80.46% lower than that without methane assisted ignition, due to the carbon-hydrogen ratio of kerosene was higher than that of methane. The spectral emissivities at 600 nm with LIPCE were 1.25%, 22.2%, and 4.22% lower than those without LIPCE at a = 1.0a (with methane assisted ignition), 1.0b (without methane assisted ignition) and 0.6. The effect of concentration in the emissivity was removed by normalization to analyze the flame radiative properties in the RbCC combustor chamber. The maximum differences of flame normalized emissivity were 50.91% without LIPCE and 27.53% with LIPCE. Numerical investigation on compressible flow around a cylinder in proximity to the heated wall

In this study,direct numerical simulations were conducted to investigate the compressible flow around a circular cylinder near a heated wall at a Reynolds number(Re)of 500 and a Mach number(Ma)of *** heating ratio T^(*)ranging from 1.0 to 1.6 represents the different situations of a heated wall,whereas the gap ratio ranges from 0.3 to *** study analyzed the impact of heating effect and wall proximity on flow characteristics and aerodynamic *** results indicated that the stability of the flow was enhanced as the gap ratio decreased or the heating ratio *** the calculation of enstrophy,it was found that the strength of shedding vortices weakens with a decrease in gap ratio or an increase in heating ***,the mean drag coefficient decreases as the heating ratio increases or the gap ratio *** contrast,the mean lift coefficient initially decreases and then increases as the gap ratio ***,the drag reduction mechanism was analyzed by examining the pressure distribution on the surface of the cylinder.

bilayer structure with functional overlayer has been commonly adopted to resolve the issue of moisture poisoning in ***,the conventional overlayers always suffer from blocking access of gas molecules to sensing layer due to lacking porosity and deteriorated adsorption ***,taking advantages of the well-defined porous structure and hydrophobic nature of pure silica zeolite,we assembled an overlayer of Pd-PdO clusters-encapsulated mesoporous silicalite-1(MFI)zeolite(named M-S-1)on ZnO sensing layer,to prevent moisture poisoning,and enhance gas diffusion and adsorption *** inherent capability of MFI zeolite to incorporate monodispersed nanometric(ca.3 nm)Pd-PdO cluster in its void space is of great importance for the NO_(2) *** Pd-PdO@M-S-1 overlayer can attain negligible moisture interference to the ZnO layer without significantly altering the gas selectivity and baseline resistance,and enhance gas ***,the Pd-PdO@M-S-1/ZnO bilayer sensor can ultra-selectively(S_(nitrogen dioxide)/S_(interference gas)>4),and ultra-stably detect trace level of NO_(2)(9.5 ppb)at low temperature(370 K)under high levels of humidity(90%RH).This work exemplifies a next-generation solution to design bilayer sensors using zeolite overlayer for eliminating the humidity dependence of the gas-sensing properties.

Sentiment Analysis Using E-Commerce Review Keyword-Generated Image with a Hybrid Machine Learning-based Model

In the context of the accelerated pace of daily life and the development of e-commerce,online shopping is a mainstreamway for consumers to access products and *** understand their emotional expressions in facing different shopping experience scenarios,this paper presents a sentiment analysis method that combines the ecommerce reviewkeyword-generated imagewith a hybrid machine learning-basedmodel,inwhich theWord2Vec-TextRank is used to extract keywords that act as the inputs for generating the related images by generative Artificial Intelligence(AI).Subsequently,a hybrid Convolutional Neural Network and Support Vector Machine(CNNSVM)model is applied for sentiment classification of those keyword-generated *** method validation,the data randomly comprised of 5000 reviews from Amazon have been *** superior keyword extraction capability,the proposedmethod achieves impressive results on sentiment classification with a remarkable accuracy of up to 97.13%.Such performance demonstrates its advantages by using the text-to-image approach,providing a unique perspective for sentiment analysis in the e-commerce review data compared to the existing ***,the proposed method enhances the reliability and insights of customer feedback surveys,which would also establish a novel direction in similar cases,such as social media monitoring and market trend research.

Prospects for weighing neutrinos in interacting dark energy models using joint observations of gravitational waves andγ-ray bursts

Cosmological observations can be used to weigh neutrinos,but this method is model-dependent,with results relying on the cosmological model *** we consider interactions between dark energy and dark matter,the neutrino mass constraints differ from those derived under the standard *** the contrary,gravitational wave(GW)standard siren observations can measure absolute cosmological distances,helping to break parameter degeneracies inherent in traditional cosmological observations,thereby improving constraints on neutrino *** paper examines the constraints on neutrino mass within interacting dark energy(IDE)models and explores how future GW standard siren observations could enhance these *** multi-messenger GW observations,we consider the joint observations of binary neutron star mergers by third-generation ground-based GW detectors and shortγ-ray burst observations by missions similar to the THESEUS satellite *** current cosmological observations(CMb+bAO+SN),we obtain an upper limit on the neutrino mass in the IDE models of 0.15(or 0.16)*** the inclusion of GW data,the upper limit on the neutrino mass improves to 0.14 *** indicates that in the context of IDE models,the improvement in neutrino mass constraints from GW observations is relatively ***,GW observations significantly enhance the constraints on other cosmological parameters,such as matter density parameter,the Hubble constant,and coupling strength between dark energy and dark matter.

Protein hydrogels for biomedical applications

Hydrogels, characterised as highly hydrophilic three-dimensional polymer networks, have gained increasing attention due to their unique physicochemical properties, finding applications in various fields. Natural polymer hydrogels exhibit higher biocompatibility and biodegradability compared to traditional synthetic polymer hydrogels. Proteins, being the principal materials of natural polymer hydrogels, bear numerous modifiable functional groups. The resultant hydrogel possesses responsiveness, adjustable degradability, and underway as an excellent biomaterial. Seven common raw materials used to construct protein hydrogels are introduced. In terms of comparing natural polymer hydrogels with traditional synthetic polymer hydrogels, the authors conduct a detailed analysis and comparison, highlighting the advantages of natural polymer hydrogels in terms of biocompatibility and biodegradability, and summarising their characteristics. The authors also address the limitations of various protein hydrogels and list existing strengthening cross-linking strategies, proposing new insights to overcome the application limits of protein hydrogels. Additionally, the applications of protein hydrogels in drug delivery, biosensing, bio-inks and tissue engineering are discussed. The authors conclude by summarising the current challenges faced by protein hydrogels and prospecting its future development.
