Inhibition roles of molybdate and borate on Q235 steel corrosion in resistance reducing agent

The effects of Na_(2)MoO_(4) and Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7) on corrosion behavior of Q235 steel in resistance reducing agent(RRA)containing sodium bentonite were studied by mass loss,scanning electron microscopy and electrochemical *** results showed that both the independent and mixed additions of Na_(2)MoO_(4) and/or Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7),can reduce the corrosion rate of Q235 steel in RRA containing sodium *** the inhibition effect of Na_(2)MoO_(4) and/or Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7)increased with their dosage *** the same dosage,the inhibition efficiency of the mixed addition of Na_(2)MoO_(4) and Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7),was higher than that of their independent *** passivation effect of Q235 steel was easy to obtain in the RRA with the mixed addition of Na_(2)MoO_(4) and Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7).The optimized inhibitor for the RRA containing sodium bentonite was the mixture of Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7) and Na_(2)MoO_(4) with a total concentration of 1.5 wt.%.Furthermore,the increase in corrosion potential E_(corr) and the decrease in corrosion current density i_(cor) in carbon steel were one of the important criteria for the formation of passivation film.

Caching is one of the most important techniques for the popular distributed big data processing framework Spark. For this big data parallel computing framework, which is designed to support various applications based on in-memory computing, it is not possible to cache every intermediate result due to the memory size limitation. The arbitrariness of cache application programming interface(API) usage,the diversity of application characteristics, and the variability of memory resources constitute challenges to achieving high system execution performance. Inefficient cache replacement strategies may cause different performance problems such as long application execution time, low memory utilization, high replacement frequency, and even program execution failure resulting from out of memory. The cache replacement strategy currently adopted by Spark is the least recently used(LRU) strategy. Although LRU is a classical algorithm and has been widely used, it lacks consideration for the environment and workloads. As a result, it cannot achieve good performance under many scenarios. In this paper, we propose a novel cache replacement algorithm, least partition weight(LPW). LPW takes comprehensive consideration of different factors affecting system performance, such as partition size, computational cost, and reference count. The LPW algorithm was implemented in Spark and compared against the LRU as well as other state-of-the-art mechanisms. Our detailed experiments indicate that LPW obviously outperforms its counterparts and can reduce the execution time by up to 75% under typical workloads. Furthermore, the decreasing eviction frequency also shows the LPW algorithm can generate more reasonable predictions.

A simple,fast and cost-effective method for monolithic carbon aerogels(CAs) preparation was proposed through sol-gel polycondensation of resorcinol with fo rmaldehyde in a basic aqueous solution followed by ambient pressure drying without solvent exchange,and *** microstructure and network strength of CAs were tailored by adju sting the catalyst concentration([resorcinol]/[sodium carbonate] in the range of 300-2000),water content([deionized water]/[resorcinol] equals to 17 and 24,respectively),and gelation temperature(Tgel in the range of 30-90℃).Resultantly,the CAs with a wide range of density(0.30-1.13 g/cm3),high specific surface area(465-616 m2/g),high compressive strength(6.5-147.4 MPa)and low thermal conductivity(0.065-0.120 W·m-1 K-1) were obtained in this ***,the largesized CAs(100×100×20 mm3) can also be prepared by this method since the formed robust skeleton network can resist shrinkage/collapse of pore structure and prevent cracking during *** improved mechanical strength and monolithic forming abilities could be mainly attributed to the uniform arrangement of carbon particles and pores,fine particle size,abundant network structure and enhanced particle neck.

BACKGROUND The burden of mental disorders(MD)in the Western Pacific Region(WPR)re-mains a critical public health concern,with substantial variations across demogra-phics and *** To analyze the burden of MD in the WPR from 1990 to 2021,along with associated risk factors,to reveal changing trends and emerging *** We used data from the Global Burden of Disease 2021,analyzing prevalence,incidence,and disability-adjusted life years(DALYs)of MD from 1990 to *** methods included age-standardisation and uncertainty analysis to address variations in population structure and data *** Between 1990 and 2021,the prevalence of MD rose from 174.40 million cases[95%uncertainty interval(UI):160.17-189.84]to 234.90 million cases(95%UI:219.04-252.50),with corresponding DALYs increasing from 22.8 million(95%UI:17.22-28.79)to 32.07 million(95%UI:24.50-40.68).During this period,the burden of MD shifted towards older age *** and anxiety disorders were predominant,with females showing higher DALYs for depressive and anxiety disorders,and males more affected by conduct disorders,attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder,and autism spectrum ***,New Zealand,and Malaysia reported the highest burdens,whereas Vietnam,China,and Brunei Darussalam reported the ***,childhood sexual abuse and bullying,and intimate partner violence emerged as significant risk *** This study highlights the significant burden of MD in the WPR,with variations by age,gender,and *** coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic has exacerbated the situation,emphasizing the need for a coordinated response.

Nickel-free high-manganese austenitic Fe–24.4Mn–4.04Al–0.057C steel was produced by smelting,and the homogenized forged billet was *** plastic deformation mechanism was investigated through tensile testing of the hot-rolled *** characterization techniques such as scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,electron backscattered diffraction,and X-ray diffraction were used to analyze the microstructural evolution of steel under different strain *** steel had a single austenite phase,which was stable during *** hot rolling,annealing twins were observed in the microstructure of the *** steel showed an excellent combination of mechanical properties,like a tensile strength of 527 MPa,impact energy of 203 J at−196℃,and an elongation of 67%till *** the initial deformation stage,the dislocations were generated within the austenite grains,entangled and accumulated at the grain boundaries and annealing twin *** twins participated in plastic deformation and hindered the dislocation *** the deformation progressed,the dislocation slip was hindered and produced stress concentration,and the stacking faults evolved into mechanical twins,which released the stress concentration and delayed the necking.

A new analysis framework based on probability density evolution method(PDEM)and its Chebyshev collocation solution are introduced to predict the dynamic response and short-term extreme load of offshore wind turbine(OWT)towers subjected to random sea *** regard to the stochastic responses,random function method is employed to generate samples of sea elevation,the probability density evolution equation(PDEE)is solved to calculate time-variant probability density functions of structural *** the probabilistic load estimation,a FAST model of NREL 5MW offshore turbine is established to obtain samples of bending moment at the tower *** equivalent extreme event theory is used to construct a virtual stochastic process(VSP)to assess the short-term extreme *** results indicate that the proposed approach can predict time-variant probability density functions of the structural responses,and shows good agreement with Monte Carlo ***,the predicted short-term extreme load can capture the fluctuation at the tail of the extreme value distribution,thus is more rational than results from the typical distribution ***,the proposed method shows good adaptation,precision and efficiency for the dynamic response analysis and load estimation of OWT towers.

Objective:To investigate the evolution of herbal medicine in treating tuberculosis(TB)and encourage anti-TB drug discovery and ***:In this study,477 ancient traditional Chinese medicine formulae were collected from the Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine Prescriptions and 172 modern Chinese medicine formulae(from 1986 to 2016)were collected by searching 4 databases:Wan Fang Data Knowledge Service Platform,China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database(CNKI),China Science and Technology Journal Database(VIP)and Chinese Bio-medical Literature and Retrieval System(Sino Med)in *** restricted the search to publications in *** data analysis was done using the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System version 2 ***:There were 425 herbs in the 477 ancient formulae and 257 herbs in the 172 modern *** of the top 30 herbs were shared by both modern and ancient *** are Radix Ophiopogonis,Astragalus membranaceus,Fritillaria cirrhosa,Dried rehmannia glutinosa,Poria cocos,Angelica sinensis,Prepared rehmannia glutinosa,Platycodon Root,Radix paeoniae alba,Schisandra chinensis,Bighead atractylodes rhizome,Rhizoma anemarrhenae,Cortex lycii radicis and Radix *** two groups of herbs with a high correlation coefficient were found in both modern and ancient prescriptions,the Dried rehmannia glutinosa with Radix ophiopogonis,and Radix ophiopogonis with Prepared rehmannia *** were 9 and 15 core herb combinations in modern and ancient prescriptions,respectively,but no one was found simutaniously in both modern and ancient ***:Although there were wide variations in the herb groups and herb combinations in the formulae,half of the top 30 herbs were found in both modern and ancient *** core herb combinations in modern and ancient prescriptions could help us to improve the priscription for treatment of TB.
