BACKGROUND Complications associated with stomas—including parastomal hernia(PSH),pro-lapse,mucocutaneous separation,and stoma retraction—provide considerable postoperative challenges for colostomy *** between extraperi-toneal colostomy(EPC)and transperitoneal colostomy(TPC)pathways is there-fore essential for mitigating these *** To analyze the existing data regarding the efficacy of EPC compared to TPC in reducing stoma-related complications *** PubMed,Google Scholar,EMBASE,MEDLINE,and the Cochrane Library were adopted to uncover pertinent papers in which EPC and TPC approaches were *** then conducted a meta-analysis using RevMan *** Both laparoscopic(Lap)and open approaches showed a reduced incidence of PSH in EPC relative to TPC(P<0.00001 and P=0.02 respectively).In addition,Lap EPC depicted a lesser incidence of prolapse,mucocutaneous separation,and stoma retraction(P=0.007,P=0.03,and P=0.01,respectively)compared to Lap ***,EPC and TPC did not differ with respect to operation time,blood loss,edema,ischemia,necrosis,or infection after the LAP *** The extraperitoneal approach may provide benefits in minimizing some stoma-related problems such as PSH,pro-lapse,mucocutaneous separation,and stoma retraction after colostomy surgery.

《联合国气候变化框架公约》缔约方大会（COP）是全球气候治理的焦点和风向标。2023年全球气温刷新器测纪录，年底的COP28更是打破历次COP参会人数纪录，正式注册参会代表超过8万人。作为全球气候治理的重要平台，无论是大会成果还是参会人员都直接反映了气候治理背后的推动力和各国参与全球气候治理的动向。通过分析历届COP参会人员及构成、中美两国COP28的参会代表组成，结合中美两国气候政策以及公众的气候变化认知现状，探讨COP28大会上中美两国参与全球气候治理的关注焦点。结果表明：中美两国的气候政策和行动与COP大会参与代表之间具有一定关联。受政策连续性的影响，美国政府一改特朗普时期的消极态度，积极参与大会。COP28大会期间，美国侧重于政治层面发力，以联邦政府官员作为主要参会群体。中国在积极开展政治磋商的同时，参会代表中更多出现的是新能源等行业和技术领域的专业人员。对中美气候政策和公众认知的梳理表明，中美两国国内气候政策和公众气候变化认知增强对全球气候治理具有积极的推动作用。

Osteoporosis is a prevalent skeletal condition characterized by reduced bone mass and strength, leading to increased fragility. Buqi-Tongluo(BQTL) decoction, a traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) prescription, has yet to be fully evaluated for its potential in treating bone diseases such as osteoporosis. To investigate the mechanism by which BQTL decoction inhibits osteoclast differentiation in vitro and validate these findings through in vivo *** employed MTS assays to assess the potential proliferative or toxic effects of BQTL on bone marrow macrophages(BMMs) at various concentrations. TRAc P experiments were conducted to examine BQTL's impact on osteoclast differentiation. RT-PCR and Western blot analyses were utilized to evaluate the relative expression levels of osteoclast-specific genes and proteins under BQTL stimulation. Finally, in vivo experiments were performed using an osteoporosis model to further validate the in vitro findings. This study revealed that BQTL suppressed receptor activator of NF-κB ligand(RANKL)-induced osteoclastogenesis and osteoclast resorption activity in vitro in a dose-dependent manner without observable *** inhibitory effects of BQTL on osteoclast formation and function were attributed to the downregulation of NFATc1 and c-fos activity, primarily through attenuation of the MAPK, NF-κB, and Calcineurin signaling pathways. BQTL's inhibitory capacity was further examined in vivo using an ovariectomized(OVX) rat model, demonstrating a strong protective effect against bone loss. BQTL may serve as an effective therapeutic TCM for the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis and the alleviation of bone loss induced by estrogen deficiency and related conditions.

胃癌是我国人口死亡的主要原因之一,近年来确诊为早期胃癌的患者数量逐年上升,然而肿瘤细胞耐药性的产生严重限制了手术和化学治疗的效果,极有必要探索胃癌治疗的新靶点。铁死亡是一种铁依赖性细胞程序性死亡方式,其显著特征是细胞内脂质过氧化。胃癌细胞对细胞内铁代谢水平非常敏感,铁死亡在胃癌的发生、进展、治疗及耐药机制中发挥着至关重要的作用。胃癌细胞内铁死亡相关基因和非编码RNA与胃癌转移、耐药和预后密切相关,近年来关于铁死亡对胃癌细胞增殖的调节作用研究已获得一定的进展,因此,靶向铁死亡可能是胃癌的有效治疗策略。本文通过阐述铁死亡在胃癌细胞增殖、侵袭、转移及耐药机制中的作用,总结与铁死亡相关的靶点基因,并对靶向调节铁死亡在胃癌治疗中的前景进行展望。

Iron is the most abundant transition metal in the brain and is essential for brain development and neuronal function;however, its abnormal accumulation is also implicated in various neurological disorders. The olfactory bulb(OB), an early target in neurodegenerative diseases, acts as a gateway for environmental toxins and contains diverse neuronal populations with distinct roles. This study explored the cell-specific vulnerability to iron in the OB using a mouse model of intranasal administration of ferric ammonium citrate(FAC). Olfactory function was assessed through olfactory discrimination tests, while iron levels in OB tissues, cerebrospinal fluid(CSF), and serum were quantified using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS), immunohistochemical staining,and iron assays. Transcriptomic changes and immune responses were assessed using RNA sequencing and immune cell infiltration analysis. Results showed that intranasal FAC administration impaired olfactory function,accompanied by iron deposition in the olfactory mucosa and OB, as well as damage to olfactory sensory ***, these effects occurred without elevations in CSF or serum iron levels. OB iron accumulation activated multiple immune cells, including microglia and astrocytes,but did not trigger ferroptosis. Spatial transcriptomic sequencing of healthy adult mouse OBs revealed significant cellular heterogeneity, with an abundance of neuroglia and neurons. Among neurons, GABAergic neurons were the most prevalent, followed by glutamatergic and dopaminergic neurons, while cholinergic and serotonergic neurons were sparsely distributed. Under iron-stressed conditions, oligodendrocytes, dopaminergic neurons, and glutamatergic neurons exhibited significant damage, while GABAergic neurons remained *** findings highlight the selective vulnerability of neuronal and glial populations to iron-induced stress,offering novel insights into the loss of specific cell types in the OB during iron
