Determination of ethanol content in ethanol-gasoline based on derivative absorption spectrometry and information fusion

The ethanol content in ethanol-gasoline is respectively detected by the first-order derivative UV/vis absorption spectrum, the first-order derivative near infrared(NIR) absorption spectrum and the information fusion method. The backward interval partial least squares(biPLS) algorithm is used as the feature extraction method, which is established by the partial least squares(PLS) regression model. Based on the information fusion theory, the low level data fusion(LLDF) and mid-level data fusion(MLDF) models are established by the first-order derivative UV/vis and NIR spectra. The analytical results are compared with the related textual references. Thereby, the single-spectral model based on the first-order derivative NIR absorption spectrum has the optimal results, where R_p^2 =0.999 1 and RMSEP=0.324 5, while the LLDF after vector normalization(LLDF-VN2) is the optimal multi-spectral fusion model, where R_p^2 =0.998 3 and RMSEP=0.498 2. The proposed method can be used to detect the ethanol content in ethanol-gasoline rapidly and provides a better choice for the component detection in mixed oils.

The rational design synthesis of zeolite catalysts with effective,environmentally benign and atom-economic routes is a major topic in the field of microporous materials,as it would avoid the high labor cost and inefficiency of traditional trial-and-error methods in developing new structures and dispel environmental concerns regarding the industrial mass production of *** applications of zeolite materials have expanded from conventional single functionalities,such as solid acids or selective oxidation catalysts to bi/multifunctionalities through combination with metals or metal *** is a response to new re quirements from petro chemical and fine chemical industries,such as precise control of product distribution,conversion of low-carbon resources for chemical production,and solutions to increasingly severe environmental problems related to CO2and ***,based on the systematic knowledge of zeolite chemistry and science that researchers have acquired in the past half-century and the development re quirements,remarkable progress has been made in zeolite synthesis and catalysis in the past 10 *** includes the manipulation of zeolitic monolayers derived from layered zeolites and germanosilicates to construct novel zeolite materials and effective and green zeolite syntheses as well as the synergistic interaction of zeolites and metal/metal oxides with different space distributions in the conversion of low-carbon *** many zeolite catalysts and catalytic processes being developed,our understanding of the close relationship between zeolite synthesis,structure and catalytic properties has *** are gradually approaching the goal of rationally designing zeolite catalysts with precisely controlled activity and selectivity for particular applications.

This paper investigates a production system in which the desired system state is a reduction of emissions and the controlling action plan is altering carbon price. From the operations perspective, we develop a model to study how increasing carbon emission costs may affect the joint production and location decisions for a manufacturer across different locations. Specifically, our model incorporates economies of scale and explicitly links product demand, production costs and carbon emission levels to location decisions. The firm＇s decisions in production batch size and locations are then optimised. The system state of emission are analysed under different carbon prices. Finally we check the alignment of objectives in costs and emissions for the system. The results show that for a production system with economies of scale, the production allocation is transformed to a location choice problem after optimising the costs. Raising the carbon price reduces the carbon emissions but may not be able to induce the production to be placed in an emission efficient place. We propose a hybrid policy combining carbon price and free emission allowance to fully align the cost efficiency and emission efficiency and characterise the link between the emission target and the carbon price.

MXenes obtained significant attention in the field of energy storage devices due to their characteristic layered structure,modifiable surface functional groups,large electrochemically active surface,and regulable interlayer ***,the self-restacking and sluggish ions diffusion kinetics performance of MXenes during the alkali metal ions insertion/extraction process severely impedes their cycle stability and rate *** paper proposes an aniline molecule welding strategy for welding p-phenylenediamine（PPDA） into the interlayers of Ti2C through a dehydration condensation *** welded PPDA molecules can contribute pillar effect to the layered structure of *** pillar effect effectively maintains the structural stability during the sodium ions insertion/extraction process and effectively expands the interlayer spacing of Ti2C from 1.16 to 1.38 nm,thereby enhancing ions diffusion kinetics performance and improving the long-term cycle *** Ti2C-PPDA demonstrates outstanding Na+storage capability,exhibiting a specific capacity of 100.2 mAh·g-1at a current density of 0.1 A·g-1over 960 cycles and delivering a remarkable rate capability 81.2 mAh·g-1at a current density of 5 A·*** study demonstrates that expanding interlayer spacing is a promising strategy to enhance the Na+storage capacity and improve long-term cycling stability,which provides significant guidance for the design of two-dimensional Na+storage materials with high-rate capability and cycle stability.

China has experienced rapid car-oriented suburbanization during the past decades and is facing emerging challenges such as traffic congestion,air pollution,and even health *** from North American cities,Chinese cities have started adopting and implementing a Transit-Oriented Development(TOD) strategy,which encourages the transit ridership and walking trips by creating a pedestrian-friendly urban *** much research has examined the walking environment in various neighborhoods or communities,few existing studies have examined the walking environment around transit stations,especially using micro-level data,such as walking infrastructure *** research chooses several infrastructure variables that are critical for pedestrians to investigate the walking environment around stations of the Bus Rapid Transit(BRT) No.1 Line in Xiamen City,*** study defines a half mile buffer centered on each station as the spatial unit of *** Geographic Information System(GIS) and field audits are employed to measure the characteristics of the infrastructure for pedestrians in each spatial unit of *** results of this analysis can help assess the existing conditions of the infrastructure for pedestrians in each station area,which might need to be added or *** findings will not only provide empirical support for improving TODs in Xiamen,but also offer a lesson on how areas around transit stations could be retrofitted to improve the pedestrian environment.

In this paper, a novel concept of the joint state of input and output of encoder is proposed. Based on it, a recursive algorithm that implements the multi-symbol differential detection in criterion of maximum likelihood is proposed. Simulation results show that its performance can approach to the theoretical boundary of multi-symbol differential detection without increasing the complexity per symbol, and it is effective in practical systems. It is also an optimal algorithm to solve the problems of estimating the state sequence of finite-state Markov process observed in memoryless noise.
