Numerical simulation and cause analysis of persistent summer drought during the 1920s in eastern China

In the late 1920’s,a mega-drought in China resulted in widespread crop failure and *** evidence suggests that this drought belonged to a dry period ranging from approximately 1922 to *** understand the characteristics and the cause of this persistent drought period,we combined various data,including observations,tree ring proxy data,reanalysis data,simulation results of the Fifth Phase of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project and numerical downscaling *** results show that during 1922-1932,most regions in eastern China suffered from a persistent drought that lasted for six years,and the maximum negative precipitation anomaly reached−1.5 times the standard *** its spatial coverage,duration,and strength,the 1920s drought was unique for the 20th *** 1920s drought was primarily caused by internal *** easterlies in lower latitudes,strong monsoon circulation,and abnormally high geopotential heights at middle and upper levels were responsible for the 1920s drought conditions in eastern China;these drought conditions could be further attributed to the joint impact of the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation,Pacific Decadal Oscillation and Indian Ocean Basin Mode.

This paper investigates the Quality of Experience(QoE)oriented channel access anti-jamming problem in 5th Generation Mobile Communication(5G)ultra-dense ***,considering that the 5G base station adopts beamforming technology,an anti-jamming model under Space Division Multiple Access(SDMA)conditions is ***,the confrontational relationship between users and the jammer is formulated as a Stackelberg ***,to achieve global optimization,we design a local cooperation mechanism for users and formulate the cooperation and competition among users as a local altruistic *** proving that the local altruistic game is an Exact Potential Game(EPG),we further prove the existence of pure strategy Nash Equilibrium(NE)among users and Stackelberg Equilibrium(SE)between users and ***,to obtain the equilibrium solutions of the proposed games,we propose an anti-jamming channel selection algorithm and improve its convergence speed through heterogeneous learning *** simulation results validate the convergence and effectiveness of the proposed *** with the throughput optimization scheme,our proposed scheme obtain a greater network satisfaction ***,we also analyze user fairness changes during the algorithm convergence process and get some interesting conclusions.

To improve the economic efficiency of urban integrated energy systems(UIESs)and mitigate day-ahead dispatch uncertainty,this paper presents an interconnected UIES and transmission system(TS)model based on distributed robust ***,interconnections are established between a TS and multiple UIESs,as well as among different UIESs,each incorporating multiple energy *** Bregman alternating direction method with multipliers(BADMM)is then applied to multi-block problems,ensuring the privacy of each energy system operator(ESO).Second,robust optimization based on wind probability distribution information is implemented for each ESO to address dispatch *** column and constraint generation(C&CG)algorithm is then employed to solve the robust ***,to tackle the convergence and practicability issues overlooked in the existing studies,an external C&CG with an internal BADMM and corresponding acceleration strategy is ***,numerical results demonstrate that the adoption of the proposed model and method for absorbing wind power and managing its uncertainty results in economic benefits.

To improve the success rate of locating hydrocarbon reservoirs in pre-Cenozoic inland compressional basins, taking the Early Yanshanian succession of eastern Yihezhuang salient as an example, this paper studied the sedimentary facies and sequence stratigraphic patterns. First, through seismic profiles, well logs, cores and outcrops, the sequence framework was established and internal sedimentary facies were identified. Further, according to analysis of single-wells and connecting-wells, the vertical evolution and horizontal distribution of sedimentation inside the sequence frameworks were discussed. The following results were acquired:(1) meandering river characterized by dual structures superposing each other was developed, and the dual structures can be further divided into three kinds;(2) the entire Early Yanshanian succession was interpreted as one first-order sequence, composed of three third-order sequences, including SQ-Fz1, SQ-Fz2 and SQ-St from bottom to top. Each third-order sequence can be further divided into three system tracts;(3) in different system tracts, different types of dual structures developed separately, and sedimentary bodies showed different horizontal distribution scales and vertical superposition patterns. Finally, the model of sequence stratigraphic patterns was established. This study enhanced the use of sequence stratigraphy to inland tectonically active basins, and would be helpful to predict reservoirs in pre-Cenozoic residual basins.

Motivated by the fascinating merits of wide electrochemical stability window(ESW)and nonflammability,ionic liquids(ILs)have been utilized as advanced electrolytes in various emerging electrochemical energy storage ***,ILs are hygroscopic to the water in the air and the presence of trace water will narrow the ESW of *** this article,we report that a localized solvation nanostructure(LSNS)is formed in ILs,which plays an important role in fully recovering the originally decreased ESW of[EMIM][TFSI]IL owing to the trace *** LSNS is consisted of Li^(+)ions with water molecules as the center,TFSI-anions as the secondary periphery and EMIM^(+)cations as the outermost layer after adding the proper amount of *** nanostructure can restrain the possibility of trace water to approach the electrode/electrolyte interfaces and adverse redox reactions,thereby recovering the ***,the effectiveness of this strategy in different kinds of ILs to fully recover ESW decreasing is *** article comes up with a feasible method to eliminate the trace water caused ESW drop for ILbased electrolytes and provides a new insight for understanding the molecular-level interaction between different ions in ILs with water molecules.

Effect of Ultraviolet Aging on the Bonding and Tensile Properties of Polymer-Cement Composite

In this paper,the specimens of polymer-cement composites after 1 d,7 d,15 d,and 30 d aging without aging and UV aging are subjected to fixed extension test and tensile *** observing the mode of the composite in the fixed-elongation test,and measuring the elastic recovery rate,tensile strength,elongation at break,peak tensile strain,tensile toughness and pre-peak tensile toughness of the composite,the effects of UV aging on the bonding and the tensile properties of the composite were *** combining with scanning electron microscopy experiments,the micro-mechanism of the effect of ultraviolet aging on the properties of composite was *** results showed that the composite had a good bonding property,and no damage was observed after UV aging for 30 *** UV aging increased the elastic recovery rate and peak tensile within a certain *** elastic recovery rate and peak tensile strain of the composite increased by 6.60%and 23.55%respectively after UV aging for 15 ***,the UV aging could enhance the tensile property and the tensile energy consumption performance of the *** tensile strength of the composite increased by 65.36%after UV aging for 30 *** tensile toughness and pre-peak tensile toughness of the composite were increased by 43.29%and 101.83%respectively after UV aging for 15 *** elongation at break of composite decreased continuously after UV aging due to the photo-oxygen reaction,as well as secondary hydration reaction and cross-linking curing reaction of cement.

Smart Cotton Fabric with CO_(2)-Responsive Wettability for Controlled Oil/Water Separation

Stimuli-responsive materials with switchable wettability have promising practical applications in oil/water separation.A novel CO_(2)-responsive cotton fabric for controlled oil/water separation was fabricated based on mussel-inspired reaction and polymerized with 2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate(DMAEMA).As expected,the modified fabric exhibited switchable hydrophilicity and hydrophobicity after CO_(2)/N_(2) alternation,and it could be used for gravity-driven CO_(2)-controlled oil/water *** was selectively penetrated through the fabric and separated from oil after treating by CO_(2).A reversed wettability could be generated through simply treated with *** is expected that the as-prepared fabrics could be applied in smart oil/water separation due to the attractive properties of CO_(2)-switchable system.
