E2E-MFERC:AMulti-Face Expression Recognition Model for Group Emotion Assessment

In smart classrooms, conducting multi-face expression recognition based on existing hardware devices to assessstudents’ group emotions can provide educators with more comprehensive and intuitive classroom effect analysis,thereby continuouslypromotingthe improvementof teaching ***,most existingmulti-face expressionrecognition methods adopt a multi-stage approach, with an overall complex process, poor real-time performance,and insufficient generalization ability. In addition, the existing facial expression datasets are mostly single faceimages, which are of low quality and lack specificity, also restricting the development of this research. This paperaims to propose an end-to-end high-performance multi-face expression recognition algorithm model suitable forsmart classrooms, construct a high-quality multi-face expression dataset to support algorithm research, and applythe model to group emotion assessment to expand its application value. To this end, we propose an end-to-endmulti-face expression recognition algorithm model for smart classrooms (E2E-MFERC). In order to provide highqualityand highly targeted data support for model research, we constructed a multi-face expression dataset inreal classrooms (MFED), containing 2,385 images and a total of 18,712 expression labels, collected from smartclassrooms. In constructing E2E-MFERC, by introducing Re-parameterization visual geometry group (RepVGG)block and symmetric positive definite convolution (SPD-Conv) modules to enhance representational capability;combined with the cross stage partial network fusion module optimized by attention mechanism (C2f_Attention),it strengthens the ability to extract key information;adopts asymptotic feature pyramid network (AFPN) featurefusion tailored to classroomscenes and optimizes the head prediction output size;achieves high-performance endto-end multi-face expression detection. Transition metal nitrides(TMNs)are considered as viable alternatives to noble metal catalysts owing to their versatile electronic structure and favorable catalytic ***,the conventional synthetic processes for TMNs suffer from high energy consumption and low production *** this study,a range of TMNs and their hetero-composite arrays were successfully synthesized via an ultrafast flash Joule heating technology within 0.5 *** a proof concept,the nitrides and hetero-composites were applied for the electrocatalytic hydrazine oxidation reaction(HzOR),in which the Co_(4)N/Mo_(16)N_(7)arrays shows the best performance with a geometric current density of 100 mA cm^(-2)at 23 mV(*** hydrogen electrode(RHE)).This work paves a new way for the ultrafast synthesis of TMNs which could meet the ever-increased energy crisis.

Spermatogenesis, maturation, capacitation and fertilization are precisely regulated by glycosylation. However, the relationship between altered glycosylation patterns and the onset and development of reproductive disorders is unclear, mainly limited by the lack of in situ imaging techniques for spermatozoa glycosylation. We developed an efficient and highly specific spermatozoa glycan imaging technique based on the robust chemoselective labeling of sialic acid(Sia) and N-acetyl-D-galactosamine(Gal/GalNAc). We further proposed a “tandem glycan chemoselective labeling” strategy to achieve simultaneous imaging of two types of glycans on spermatozoa. We applied the developed method to the spermatozoa from oligozoospermic patients and diabetic mice and found that these spermatozoa showed higher levels of Sia and Gal/Gal NAc expression than the normal groups. Moreover, spermatozoa from diabetic mice showed a severe decrease in number, viability, and forward motility, suggesting that in vivo glucose metabolism disorders may lead to an elevated level of spermatozoa glycosylation and have a correlation with the development of oligoasthenotspermia. Our work provides a research tool to reveal the relationship between glycosylation modification and spermatozoa quality, and a promising clue for the development of glycan-based reproductive markers.

Janus Quasi‑Solid Electrolyte Membranes with Asymmetric Porous Structure for High‑Performance Lithium‑Metal Batteries

Quasi-solid electrolytes(QSEs)based on nanoporous materials are promising candidates to construct high-performance Limetal batteries(LMBs).However,simultaneously boosting the ionic conductivity(σ)and lithium-ion transference number(t^(+)) of liquid electrolyte confined in porous matrix remains ***,we report a novel Janus MOFLi/MSLi QSEs with asymmetric porous structure to inherit the benefits of both mesoporous and microporous *** Janus QSE composed of mesoporous silica and microporous MOF exhibits a neat Li^(+) conductivity of 1.5.10^(–4)S cm^(−1) with t^(+) of 0.71.A partially de-solvated structure and preference distribution of Li^(+)near the Lewis base O atoms were depicted by MD ***,the nanoporous structure enabled efficient ion flux regulation,promoting the homogenous deposition of Li^(+).When incorporated in Li||Cu cells,the MOFLi/MSLi QSEs demonstrated a high Coulombic efficiency of 98.1%,surpassing that of liquid electrolytes(96.3%).Additionally,NCM 622||Li batteries equipped with MOFLi/MSLi QSEs exhibited promising rate performance and could operate stably for over 200 cycles at 1 *** results highlight the potential of Janus MOFLi/MSLi QSEs as promising candidates for next-generation LMBs.

Efficacy and safety of electroacupuncture for insomnia:A systematic review and meta-analysis

Multi-omics analysis of adamantinomatous craniopharyngiomas reveals distinct molecular subgroups with prognostic and treatment response significance

Seasonal Characteristics of Forecasting Uncertainties in Surface PM_(2.5)Concentration Associated with Forecast Lead Time over the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region

Forecasting uncertainties among meteorological fields have long been recognized as the main limitation on the accuracy and predictability of air quality ***,the particular impact of meteorological forecasting uncertainties on air quality forecasts specific to different seasons is still not well *** this study,a series of forecasts with different forecast lead times for January,April,July,and October of 2018 are conducted over the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH)region and the impacts of meteorological forecasting uncertainties on surface PM_(2.5)concentration forecasts with each lead time are *** increased lead time,the forecasted PM_(2.5)concentrations significantly change and demonstrate obvious seasonal *** general,the forecasting uncertainties in monthly mean surface PM_(2.5)concentrations in the BTH region due to lead time are the largest(80%)in spring,followed by autumn(~50%),summer(~40%),and winter(20%).In winter,the forecasting uncertainties in total surface PM_(2.5)mass due to lead time are mainly due to the uncertainties in PBL heights and hence the PBL mixing of anthropogenic primary *** spring,the forecasting uncertainties are mainly from the impacts of lead time on lower-tropospheric northwesterly winds,thereby further enhancing the condensation production of anthropogenic secondary particles by the long-range transport of natural *** summer,the forecasting uncertainties result mainly from the decrease in dry and wet deposition rates,which are associated with the reduction of near-surface wind speed and precipitation *** autumn,the forecasting uncertainties arise mainly from the change in the transport of remote natural dust and anthropogenic particles,which is associated with changes in the large-scale circulation.

In this paper,we study the strong convergence of a jump-adapted implicit Milstein method for a class of jump-diffusion stochastic differential equations with non-globally Lipschitz drift *** with the regular methods,the jump-adapted methods can significantly reduce the complexity of higher order methods,which makes them easily implementable for scenario ***,due to the fact that jump-adapted time discretization is path dependent and the stepsize is not uniform,this makes the numerical analysis of jump-adapted methods much more involved,especially in the non-globally Lipschitz *** provide a rigorous strong convergence analysis of the considered jump-adapted implicit Milstein method by developing some novel analysis techniques and optimal rate with order one is also successfully *** experiments are carried out to verify the theoretical findings.
