Pseudo-chromosome–length genome assembly for a deep-sea eel Ilyophis brunneus sheds light on the deep-sea adaptation

High hydrostatic pressure,low temperature,and scarce food supply are the major factors that limit the survival of vertebrates in extreme deep-sea ***,we constructed a high-quality genome of the deep-sea Muddy arrowtooth eel(MAE,Ilyophis brunneus,captured below a depth of 3,500 m)by using Illumina,Pac Bio,and Hi-C *** compare it against those of shallow-water eel and other outgroups to explore the genetic basis that underlies the adaptive evolution to deep-sea *** MAE genome was estimated to be 1.47 Gb and assembled into 14 *** analyses indicated that MAE diverged from its closely related shallow-sea species,European eel,~111.9 Mya and experienced a rapid *** genome evolutionary analyses primarily revealed the following:(i)under high hydrostatic pressure,the positively selected gene TUBGCP3 and the expanded family MLC1 may improve the cytoskeleton stability;ACOX1 may enhance the fluidity of cell membrane and maintain transport activity;the expansion of ABCC12 gene family may enhance the integrity of DNA;(ii)positively selected HARS likely maintain the transcription ability at low temperatures;and(iii)energy metabolism under a food-limited environment may be increased by expanded and positively selected genes in AMPK and m TOR signaling pathways.

Online soft measurement for wastewater treatment system based on hybrid deep learning

The existing automated wastewater treatment control systems encounter challenges such as the utilization of specialized testing instruments, equipment repair complications, high operational costs, substantial operational errors, and low detection accuracy. An effective soft measure model offers a viable approach for real-time monitoring and the development of automated control in the wastewater treatment process. Consequently, a novel hybrid deep learning CNN-BNLSTM-Attention (CBNLSMA) model, which incorporates convolutional neural networks (CNN), bidirectional nested long and short-term memory neural networks (BNLSTM), attention mechanisms (AM), and Tree-structure Parzen Estimators (TPE), has been developed for monitoring effluent water quality during the wastewater treatment process. The CBNLSMA model is divided into four stages: the CNN module for feature extraction and data filtering to expedite operations;the BNLSTM module for temporal data’s temporal information extraction;the AM module for model weight reassignment;and the TPE optimization algorithm for the CBNLSMA model’s hyperparameter search optimization. In comparison with other models (TPE-CNN-BNLSTM, TPE-BNLSTM-AM, TPE-CNN-AM, PSO-CBNLSTMA), the CBNLSMA model reduced the RMSE for effluent COD prediction by 25.4%, decreased the MAPE by 32.9%, and enhanced the R2 by 14.9%. For the effluent SS prediction, the CBNLSMA model reduced the RMSE by 26.4%, the MAPE by 21.0%, and improved the R2 by 35.7% compared to other models. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed CBNLSMA model holds significant potential for real-time effluent quality monitoring, indicating its high potential for automated control in wastewater treatment processes.

Study on metal recovery process and kinetics of oxidative leaching from spent LiFePO_(4)Li-batteries

A green environmental protection and enhanced leaching process was proposed to recover all elements from spent lithium iron phosphate(LiFePO_(4)) lithium *** order to reduce the influence of Al impurity in the recovery process,NaOH was used to remove *** impurity removal,the spent LiFePO_(4) cathode material was used as raw material under the H_(2)SO_(4) system,and the pressure oxidation leaching process was adopted to achieve the preferential leaching of *** E-pH diagram of the Fe-P-Al-H_(2)O system can determine the stable region of each element in the recovery process of spent LiFePO_(4)*** the optimal conditions(500 r·min^(-1),15 h,363.15 K,0.4 MPa,the liquid-solid ratio was 4:1 ml·g^(-1)and the acid-material ratio was 0.29),the leaching rate of Li was 99.24%,Fe,Al,and Ti were 0.10%,2.07%,and 0.03%,*** Fe and P were precipitated and recovered as FePO_(4)·2H_(2)*** kinetic analysis shows that the process of high-pressure acid leaching of spent LiFePO_(4) materials depends on the surface chemical *** the life cycle assessment(LCA)of the spent LiFePO_(4) whole recovery process,eight midpoint impact categories were selected to assess the impact of recovery *** results can provide basic environmental information on production process for recycling industry.

Influence of water content and shear rate on the mechanical behavior of soil-rock mixtures

Soil-rock mixtures(S-RMs) are widely distributed in the nature. The mesoscopic deformation and failure mechanisms as well as the macro-mechanical behaviors of the S-RMs depend largely upon the rate of deformation, water content and particle sizes. In this research, a series of large-scale direct shear tests with different water contents and different grain-size distributions were conducted to study the influence of the aforementioned factors on the mechanical properties of the S-RMs. Due to the effect of the rock blocks' breakage in the S-RMs, the relationship between the shear strength and the vertical stress of S-RM follows a power law instead of a linear one. It is found that there exists a threshold value for the vertical stress during the shearing process,below which the soil strength is mainly determined by the inter-locking of particles and the re-arrangement of meso-structure,and otherwise large-sized rock blocks are gradually broken into smaller fragments, resulting in a decrease in the soil *** shear rate can also significantly influence the degree of particle breakage and the meso-structural rearrangement of the SRMs, namely, under low shear rate, the particles of the samples are fully broken resulting in enhanced macro-strength. As a result, the lower the shear rate, the higher the macroscopic strength. So under unsaturated conditions, the water content will affect the strength of the S-RMs by reducing the strength of rock blocks. As the water content increases, the soil strength decreases gradually, and assumes a moderate value when the water content reaches 8%. At the same water content, the soil strength increases with the sizes of large rock blocks. For the occlusion, breakage and structure re-arrangement of the oversized rock blocks inside S-RM, which have a huge influence on the mechanical characteristics of the samples.

目的优选升阳化浊降糖方的最佳提取工艺。方法采用正交试验设计,以莫诺苷、马钱苷、芍药苷、甘草苷、甘草酸、毛蕊异黄酮葡萄糖苷、淫羊藿苷、吴茱萸碱、吴茱萸次碱9种成分质量浓度及固形物质量的综合评分为评价指标,对提取次数、提取时间、加水量进行考察,确定最佳的提取工艺。结果确定的提取工艺为:提取3次,每次1 h,第1次加入10倍量水,第2、3次加入8倍量水;3批验证试验平均综合评分为90.11。结论优选的工艺稳定可行,为升阳化浊降糖方的后续研发工作奠定了基础。
