Organic electron-transport materials are an essential component to boost performances and stability of organic light-emitting diodes. We present a robust organic electron-transport compound 3-(6-(3-(4,6-bis(4-biphenylyl)-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)phenyl)pyridin-2-yl)phenyldiphenylphosphine oxide by facilely coupling the triphenylphosphine oxide moiety to the 2-phenyl-4,6-bis(4-biphenylyl)-1,3,5-triazine unit via a 2,6-pyridinylene linker. It is well soluble in weakly polar solvents and possesses a high Tg of 123 ℃ with an exceptional Td≈470 ℃ at 1% weight loss and deep HOMO/LUMO levels of ca.-6.45/-3.06 eV. The phosphorescent spectrum measured in solid state at 77 K reveals a notable triplet energy of 2.88 eV. n-Doping with 8-hydroxyquinolatolithium(Liq) produces the electron mobility value of 4.66×10-5–3.21×10-4 cm2 V-1 s-1@(2–5)×105 V ***, the contrasting solubility of the bromo reaction intermediate and the new compound in alcoholic solvents facilitates separation. The characterizations of bottom-and top-emission green phosphorescent OLEDs involving this single Liq-doped electron-transport layer reveal long stability. In particular, the latter provides outstanding performances with 77.4 cd A–1(corresponding to an EQE of 18.7%) and 86.8 lm W–1@ca. 1000 cd m-2, based on the green emitter bis(2-phenylpyridine)(2-(4-methyl-3-phenylphenyl)pyridine)iridium(Ⅲ). Moreover, driven by a constant current for ca. 640 h, the initial luminance of 1000 cd m–2 appears almost no decay.

It has been challenging to develop deep blue organic molecular fluorescent emitters with CIE y(y≤0.08)based on triplet-triplet annihilation(TTA). Here, we report facilely available dianthracenylphenylenebased emitters, which have a 3,5-di(4-t-butylphenyl)phenyl moiety at the one end and 4-cyanophenyl or 3-pyridyl at the other end, respectively. Both fluorophores show a high glass transition temperature of over 220℃ with a thermal decomposition temperature of over 430℃ at an initial weight loss of1%. The preliminary characterizations of the organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs) that utilized these nondoped emitters provided high EQEs of 4.6%à5.9% with CIE coordinates(0.15, 0.07–0.08). The analysis of the EL transient decay revealed that TTA contributed to the observed performance. The results show that the new emitters are attractive as a potential TTA-based host to afford stable deep blue fluorescent OLEDs.

There has been an increasing demand for high-performance and cost-effective organic electron-transport materials for organic light-emitting diodes （OLEDs）. In this contribution, we present a simple compound 3-（3-（4,6-diphenyl-l,3,5-triazin-2-yl）phenyl）-1,10-phenanthroline through the facile Pd-catalyzed coupling of a triphenyltriazine boronic ester with 3-hromo-1,10-phenanthroline. It shows a high Tg of 112℃. The ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy measurements reveal a deep HOMO level of -6.5 eV. The LUMO level is derived as -3.0 eV, based on the optical bandgap. The low-temperature solid-state phosphorescent spectrum gives a triplet energy of -2.36eV. n-Doping with 8-hydroxyquinolatolithium （Liq, 1：1） leads to considerably improved electron mobility of 5.2 × 10 -6 -5.8 × 10 -5 cm2 v-1 S-1 at E=（2-5） × 10 5Vcm -1, in contrast with the triarylphosphine oxide- phenantroline molecular conjugate we reported previously. It has been shown that through optimizing the device structure and hence suppressing polaron-exciton annihilation, introducing this single Liq-doped electron-transport layer could offer high-efficiency and stable phosphorescent OLEDs.

Background： Acute diarrhea remains the serious problem in developing countries, especially among children under 5 years of age. Currently, only two or three common diarrhea pathogens were screened at most hospitals in China. The aim of this study was to provide a wide variety of diarrhea pathogens and their antimicrobial resistance patterns in children under 5 years of age. Methods： Totally 381 stool samples collected from Tongji Hospital between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015 were tested by culture and/or polymerase chain reaction for eight kinds of bacteria and five kinds of viruses. An antimicrobial sensitivity test was performed using dilution method recommended by the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute. Results： Viral infections were mainly identified in infants （0-11 months）, whereas bacterial infections were more prevalent in the age of 24-59 months. About 69.8% of samples were positive for at least one pathogen, 51.7% of samples were virus positive, followed by bacteria positive cases （19.4%）, and 12.6% of cases displayed co-infections with two viruses or a virus and a bacterium. Rotavirus was the most prevalent pathogen, followed closely by norovirus, while Salmonella was the most commonly isolated bacteria, followed by diarrheagenic Escherichia coli （DEC） and Campylobacter. More than 40% of Salmonella spp. and DEC isolates were resistant to first-line antibiotics （ampicillin, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole, and tetracycline）. Around 10% of Salmonella spp. isolates were resistant to ceftriaxone and ciprofloxacin simultaneously. Campylobacter spp. displayed high resistance to ciprofloxacin but kept low resistance to azithromycin and doxycycline. Conclusions： The etiology of acute diarrhea varies in children of different age groups. The high frequency of infection with viruses suggests the urgent demand for new viral vaccine development. This study primarily investigates the rock fracture mechanism of bottom cushion layer blasting and explores the effects of the bottom cushion layer on rock *** involves analyses of the evolution patterns of blasting stress,characteristics of crack distribution,and rock fracture features in the ***,blasting model experiments were carried out using the dynamic caustics principle to investigate the influence of bottom cushion layers and initiation methods on the integrity of the bottom rock *** experimental results indicate that the combined use of bottom cushion layers and inverse initiation effectively protects the integrity of the bottom rock ***,the process of stress wave propagation and dynamic crack propagation in rocks was simulated using the continuum-discontinuum element method(CDEM)and the Landau explosion source model,with varying thicknesses of bottom cushion *** numerical simulation results indicate that with increasing cushion thickness,the absorption of energy generated by the explosion becomes more pronounced,resulting in fewer cracks in the bottom rock *** illustrates the positive role of the cushion layer in protecting the integrity of the bottom rock mass.

Demyelination and remyelination have been major focal points in the study of peripheral nerve regeneration following peripheral nerve ***,the gene regulatory network of regenerated myelin differs from that of native *** of enhancer of zeste homolog 2(EZH2)hinders the differentiation,maturation,and myelination of Schwann cells in *** further determine the role of EZH2 in myelination and recovery post-peripheral nerve injury,conditional knockout mice lacking Ezh2 in Schwann cells(Ezh2^(fl/fl);Dhh-Cre and Ezh2^(fl/fl);Mpz-Cre)were *** results show that a significant proportion of axons in the sciatic nerve of Ezh2-depleted mice remain *** highlights the crucial role of Ezh2 in initiating Schwann cell ***,we observed that 21 days after inducing a sciatic nerve crush injury in these mice,most axons had remyelinated at the injury site in the control nerve,while Ezh2^(fl/fl);Mpz-Cre mice had significantly fewer remyelinated axons compared with their wild-type *** suggests that the absence of Ezh2 in Schwann cells impairs myelin formation and *** conclusion,EZH2 has emerged as a pivotal regulatory factor in the process of demyelination and myelin regeneration following peripheral nerve *** EZH2 activity during these processes may offer a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of peripheral nerve injuries.
