Analysis of Chlorogenic Acid in Herbal Medicines by Capillary Electrophoresis

A simple, rapid and accurate capillary zone electrophoresis method was developed for the determination of chlorogenic acid as a marker in traditional Chinese medicines. The buffer solution comprised of 10 mmol/L sodium phosphate and 20 mmol/L boric acid containing 5% ethanol with the pH value adjusted to 7.00. The contents of chlorogenic acid in Flos Lonicerae and Flos Lonicerae containing herbal preparations were determined within 15 min.

Transition metal sulfides(TMS)hold great promise as anode materials for Li^(+)/Na^(+)***,their practical application still faces several challenges,such as inadequate electrical conductivity,substantial volume changes and a propensity for *** tackle these challenges,a 3D composite structure composed of graphene nanosheets crosslinked core−shell FeS_(2)@N,S co−doped porous carbon(FeS_(2)@NSC/GNs)is created by combining self−template polymerization with the graphene encapsulation *** characterization and analysis demonstrate the effectiveness of the self−template polymerization strategy in generating a porous core−shell structure,which facilitates the uniform dispersion and optimal contact of the FeS_(2) core within the carbon ***,the integration of graphene,alongside the porous carbon shell,introduces a sophisticated dual−protection mechanism against volume expansion and undesirable FeS_(2) ***,the resulting 3D architecture enables efficient electron/ion transport and provides abundant sites for Li^(+)/Na^(+)*** these inherent benefits,the FeS_(2)@NSC/GNs composite exhibits significantly improved lithium/sodium storage performance in comparison to the ***,our proposed approach offers valuable guidance for the construction of advanced anodes for lithium/sodium−ion batteries.

Despite the industrial significance of grain size for enhancing mechanical properties and formability,the in-depth deformation mechanisms at elevated temperature are still *** investigate the functions of grain size on hot workability and deformation mechanisms,three groups of Mg-1.2Zn-0.2Y alloy specimens with different grain sizes were hot compressed and then studied by combining constitutive model,processing map and microstructural *** results showed that the enhanced hot workability accompanying low deformation activation energy and small instability regime was obtained with refined grain *** hot deformation,the decreased grain size in Mg1.2Zn-0.2Y alloy mainly improved the plastic deformation homogeneity,especially for the weakened local straining around grain *** a result,the dynamic recrystallization nucleation and texture development at lower strain level were influenced by the initial grain *** higher strain magnitude,the growth and coarsening of dynamic recrystallized grains would further release strain localization and improve hot workability,while the texture was less ***,unlike the primary basal slip and deformation twinning in the specimen with coarse grain at low temperature,non-basal slips of dislocations were initiated with less deformation twins in the specimens with refined grain size.

Both, autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) can be used to cure or ameliorate a variety of malignant and non-malignant diseases. The rationale behind this strategy is based on the concept of immunoablation using high-dose chemotherapy, with subsequent regeneration of naive T-lymphocytes derived from reinfused hematopoietic progenitor cells. In addition, the use of HSCT allows for the administration of high-dose chemotherapy (whether or not combined with immunomodulating agents such as antithymocyte globulin) resulting in a prompt remission in therapy-refractory patients. This review gives an update of the major areas of successful uses of HSCT in non-malignant gastrointestinal disorders. A Medline search has been conducted and all relevant published data were analyzed. HSCT has been proved successful in treating refractory Crohn’s disease (CD). Patients with refractory celiac disease type II and a high risk of developing enteropathy associated T-cell lymphoma have shown promising improvement. Data concerning HSCT and mesenchymal SCT in end-stage chronic liver diseases are encouraging. In refractory autoimmune gastrointestinal diseases high-dose chemotherapy followed by HSCT seems feasible and safe and might result in long-term improvement of disease activity. Mesenchymal SCT for a selected group of CD is promising and may represent a significant therapeutic alternative in treating fistulas in CD.

1 Introduction Graphene is the first demonstration of a truly 2D atomic layer crystal, and has shown various excellent properties (e.g., ultrahigh carrier mobility, superior toughness, unique thermal conductivity, and good optics performance). The family of 2D crystals has grown to include metals (e.g., NbS2, VS2, TaS2), semiconductors (e.g., MoS2, WS2, ZrS2), and insulators (e.g., hexagonal boron nitride (hBN)), many of which are stable at ambient conditions [1]. 2D layered metal dichalcogenides (LMDs) materials [2].

Ceramic nanofibers with robust mechanical properties,high-temperature resistance,and superior thermal insulation performance are promising thermal insulators used under extreme ***,developing of ceramic fibers with both low solid thermal conductivity(λs)and low infrared radiation thermal conductivity(λr)is still a great ***,according to the Ioffe-Regel limit theory,we report a novel SiZrNOC nanofiber membrane(NFM)with a typically amorphous structure by combining the electrospinning method and high-temperature pyrolysis technique in a NH3 *** prepared SiZrNOC NFM has a high tensile strength(1.98±0.09 MPa),excellent thermal stability(1100℃in air),and superior thermal insulation *** thermal conductivity of SiZrNOC NFM was 0.112 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1) at 1000℃,which is obviously lower than that of the traditional ceramic fiber membranes(>0.2 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1) at 1000℃).In addition,the prepared SiZrNOC NFM-reinforced SiO2 aerogel composites(SiZrNOCf/SiO2 ACs)exhibited ultralow thermal conductivity of 0.044 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1) at 1000℃,which was the lowest value for SiO2-based aerogel composites ever *** superior thermal insulation performance of SiZrNOC NFMs was mainly due to significant decreasing of solid heat conduction and thermal radiation by the fancy amorphous microstructure and high infrared shielding *** work not only provides a promising high-temperature thermal insulator,but also offers a novel route to develop other high-performance thermal insulating materials.

Graph neural networks(GNNs)have achieved significant success in graph representation ***,the recent work indicates that current GNNs are vulnerable to adversarial perturbations,in particular structural ***,therefore,narrows the application of GNN models in real-world *** vulnerability can be attributed to the model’s excessive reliance on incomplete data views(e.g.,graph convolutional networks(GCNs)heavily rely on graph structures to make predictions).By integrating the information from multiple perspectives,this problem can be effectively addressed,and typical views of graphs include the node feature view and the graph structure *** this paper,we propose C^(2)oG,which combines these two typical views to train sub-models and fuses their knowledge through *** to the orthogonality of the views,sub-models in the feature view tend to be robust against the perturbations targeted at sub-models in the structure view.C^(2)oG allows sub-models to correct one another mutually and thus enhance the robustness of their *** our evaluations,C^(2)oG significantly improves the robustness of graph models against adversarial attacks without sacrificing their performance on clean datasets.

Precisely designed protein-based nanodrugs, as a kind of colloidal drug system, have attracted significant attention in tumor therapy because of their refined drug loading ratio, controlled delivery efficacy and natural biocompatibility. However, most drugs are conjugated to the protein carriers randomly without specific binding sites. Moreover, such sites could easily be replaced by lipophilic molecules in the physiological environment and result in low delivery efficiency. With strong and specific binding locations especially comparatively narrow spatial binding sites and nonflexible structure, hemin (FePPIX)-free hemoglobin or apohemoglobin (apoHb), as a natural metalloporphyrin protein carrier, represents great potential in bioapplication. Therefore, we herein introduce a folate acid (FA) modified, zinc-substituted hemoglobin (ZnPHb-FA) as a naturally occurring protein matrix-based photosensitizer for cancer photodynamic therapy (PDT). Noncovalent inserted ZnPPIX molecules in apoHb possess an extremely stable property and significant recovered photoproperties with superior biocompatibility and phototoxicity, both in vitro and in vivo. This stability was verified by molecular docking analysis and calculation of binding constant, representing a total of five drug binding sites of apoHb for ZnPPIX molecules, four of which are energetically favorable (△G value of -11.9 kcal/mol), and one which is energetically acceptable (△G value of -9 kcal/mol). Folate acid modification has been shown to efficiently enhance the internalization and retention time of ZnPHb nanodrug. ZnPHb-FA is also an efficient depressor of hemin oxygenase-1 (HO-1), which could, in turn, lower the antioxidant ability of cancer cells by decreasing the production of biiirublin. Results in vitro and in vivo both indicated that the firmly combination of apoHb and ZnPPIX described here represents a novel and efficient protein nanodrug systems for cancer therapy.
