As the need for high-energy–density batteries continues to grow, lithium-sulfur(Li–S) batteries have become a highly promising next-generation energy solution due to their low cost and exceptional energy density compared to commercially available Li-ion batteries. Research into carbon-based sulfur hosts for Li–S batteries has been ongoing for over two decades, leading to a significant number of publications and ***, the commercialization of Li–S batteries has yet to be realized. This can be attributed, in part, to the instability of the Li metal anode. However, even when considering just the cathode side, there is still no consensus on whether carbon-based hosts will prove to be the best sulfur hosts for the industrialization of Li–S batteries. Recently, there has been controversy surrounding the use of carbon-based materials as the ideal sulfur hosts for practical applications of Li–S batteries under high sulfur loading and lean electrolyte conditions. To address this question, it is important to review the results of research into carbon-based hosts, assess their strengths and weaknesses, and provide a clear perspective. This review systematically evaluates the merits and mechanisms of various strategies for developing carbon-based host materials for high sulfur loading and lean electrolyte conditions. The review covers structural design and functional optimization strategies in detail, providing a comprehensive understanding of the development of sulfur hosts. The review also describes the use of efficient machine learning methods for investigating Li–S batteries. Finally, the outlook section lists and discusses current trends, challenges, and uncertainties surrounding carbon-based hosts, and concludes by presenting our standpoint and perspective on the subject.

伴微量白蛋白尿2型糖尿病患者并发冠状动脉粥样硬化性心脏病的危险性

目的:观察伴微量白蛋白尿2型糖尿病患者冠状动脉粥样硬化性心脏病(简称冠心病)发病情况,以及与不伴微量蛋白尿2型糖尿病患者病程、血压、血脂、血糖的差异性。方法:①选择2004-07/2006-05上海交通大学医学院附属新华医院住院的102例2型糖尿病患者,男55例,女47例,年龄56～82岁,病程1个月～15年。均符合1999年世界卫生组织2型糖尿病诊断标准;并对检测项目知情同意。根据蛋白尿情况将患者分为2组:不伴微量白蛋白尿组(78例,24h尿白蛋白排泄率0.05)。②血糖、血脂、血肌酐及合并冠心病发病率的比较:伴微量白蛋白尿组冠心病的发病率、空腹血糖、血肌酐、糖化血红蛋白水平分别为79%(19/24),(9.31±1.74),(89.12±25.03)mmol/L,(8.92±1.63)%,高于不伴微量白蛋白尿组[36%(28/78),(8.20±2.32),(82.00±19.80)mmol/L,(8.07±1.15)%,P0.05)。③Logistic多元回归分析结果:24h尿白蛋白排泄率与收缩压、空腹血糖、糖化血红蛋白、血肌酐、冠心病呈明显正相关(OR=1.08￣4.41,P<0.01)。结论:①2型糖尿病患者出现微量白蛋白尿者的冠心病发病率较未出现微量白蛋白尿者高。②糖尿病病程较长,血糖、收缩压和血肌酐水平较高的2型糖尿病患者合并肾功能损害的可能性也较高。③24h尿白蛋白排泄率的增加与收缩压、空腹血糖、糖化血红蛋白、血肌酐水平和冠心病的发生有关。

Identification and characterization of genes that control fat deposition in chickens

Background： Fat deposits in chickens contribute significantly to meat quality attributes such as juiciness, flavor, taste and other organoleptic properties. The quantity of fat deposited increases faster and earlier in the fast- growing chickens than in slow-growing chickens. In this study, Affymetrix Genechip~ Chicken Genome Arrays 32773 transcripts were used to compare gene expression profiles in liver and hypothalamus tissues of fast-growing and slow-growing chicken at 8 wk of age. Real-time RT-PCR was used to validate the differential expression of genes selected from the microarray analysis. The mRNA expression of the genes was further examined in fat tissues. The association of single nucleotide polymorphisms of four lipid-related genes with fat traits was examined in a F2 resource population. Results： Four hundred genes in the liver tissues and 220 genes hypothalamus tissues, respectively, were identified to be differentially expressed in fast-growing chickens and slow-growing chickens. Expression levels of genes for lipid metabolism （SULTIB1, ACSBG2, PNPLA3, LPL, AOAH） carbohydrate metabolism （MGAT4B, XYLB, GBE1, PGM1, HKDCl）cholesttrol biosynthesis （FDPS, LSS, HMGCR, NSDHL, DHCR24, IDI1, MEI） HSD17B7 and other reaction or pro- cesses （CYPIA4, CYP1A1, AKR1BI, CYP4V2, DDO） were higher in the fast-growing White Recessive Rock chickens than in the slow-growing Xinghua chickens. On the other hand, expression levels of genes associated with multicellular organism development, immune response, DNA integration, melanin biosynthetic process, muscle organ develop- ment and oxidation-reduction （FRZB, DMD, FUT8, CYP2C45, DHRSX, and CYP2C18） and with glycol-metabolism （GCNT2, ELOVL d, and FASN）, were higher in the xh chickens than in the fast-growing chickens, fiT-PCR validated high expression levels of nine out of 12 genes in fat tissues. The broader application of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)is constrained by safety concerns arising from thermal runaway(TR).Accurate prediction of TR is essential to comprehend its underlying mechanisms,expedite battery design,and enhance safety protocols,thereby significantly promoting the safer use of *** complex,nonlinear nature of LIB systems presents substantial challenges in TR modeling,stemming from the need to address multiscale simulations,multiphysics coupling,and computing efficiency *** paper provides an extensive review and outlook on TR modeling technologies,focusing on recent advances,current challenges,and potential future *** begin with an overview of the evolutionary processes and underlying mechanisms of TR from multiscale perspectives,laying the foundation for TR *** a comprehensive understanding of TR phenomena and mechanisms,we introduce a multiphysics coupling model framework to encapsulate these *** this framework,we detail four fundamental physics modeling approaches:thermal,electrical,mechanical,and fluid dynamic models,highlighting the primary challenges in developing and integrating these *** address the intrinsic trade-off between computational accuracy and efficiency,we discuss several promising modeling strategies to accelerate TR simulations and explore the role of AI in advancing next-generation TR ***,we discuss challenges related to data availability,model scalability,and safety standards and regulations.

The Spatial Distribution and Attribute Parameter Statistics of Landslides Triggered by the May 12th,2008,MW7.9 Wenchuan Earthquake

A complete landslide inventory and attribute database is the importantly fundamental for the study of the earthquake-induced *** landslides were triggered by the MW7.9 Wenchuan earthquake on May 12th,*** Earth images of preand post-earthquakes show that 52194 co-seismic landslides were recognized and mapped,with a total landslides area of 1021 *** on the statistics,we assigned all landslide parameters and established the co-seismic landslides database,which includes area,length,and width of landslides,elevation of the scarp top and foot edge,and the top and bottom elevations of each located ***,the spatial distribution and the above attribute parameters of landslides were *** results show that the spatial distribution of the co-seismic landslides is extremely *** landslides that mainly occur in a rectangular area(a width of 30 km of the hanging wall of the Yingxiu-Beichuan fault and a length of 120 km between Yingxiu and Beichuan)are obviously controlled by surface rupture,terrain,and peak ground ***,a large number of small landslides(individual landslide area less than 10000 m2)contribute less to the total landslides *** number of landslides larger than 10000 m2 accounts for 38.7%of the total number of co-seismic landslides,while the area of those landslides account for 88%of the total landslides *** 52194 co-seismic landslides are caused by bedrock collapse that usually consists of three parts:source area,transport area,and accumulation ***,based on the area-volume power-law relationship,the resulting regional landslide volume may be much larger than the true landslide volume if the landslide volume is calculated using the influenced area from each landslide.

A Preliminary Analysis of the Seismogenic Structure of the Akto M_S6. 7 Earthquake Sequence on November 25, 2016

In this study,data from the Xinjiang regional network and IRIS shared global stations are used to relocate the Akto MS6. 7 earthquake sequence on November 25,2016 by using double difference location method. Three earthquakes of MS4. 8,MS6. 7 and MS5. 0 are inverted by using the g CAP method,and the focal mechanism solutions are *** to the results of relocating,the location of the main shock is 39. 22°N,73. 98°E,the distribution of the earthquake sequence is about 70 km in length,and the focal depth is mainly within the range of 5-20 km. The plane and depth profiles of the earthquake sequence show that aftershocks extended in SEE direction after the main shock and the dip angle of fault plane is steep. Focal mechanism results show that the three earthquakes are characterized by strike-slip movement. Based on the results of field geological investigation,it is inferred that the seismogenic fault of the Akto earthquake is Muji fault,which is located at the northernmost end of the Kongur extensional *** possible cause of this earthquake is that the Indian Plate continues to push northward,and during this compression process,the Indian Plate is affected by the clockwise rotation of the Tarim basin,which causes the accumulation of right-lateral action of the Muji fault,resulting in this earthquake.

The Conversion Relationship between the Local Earthquake Magnitude and Surface Wave Magnitude in the Inner Mongolia Digital Seismic Network

Using 116 earthquakes over M_L3.8 in the Inner Mongolia region from 2008 to 2015, the local earthquake magnitude M_L and surface wave magnitude M_S are remeasured. Based on norm linear regression(SR1 and SR2) and norm(OR) orthogonal regression method, we established the conversion relationship between M_L and M_S. The results were tested with Gaussian disturbance. The result shows that the orthogonal regression method(OR) result has the best fitting curve, and the conversion relation is M_S=0.96 M_L-0.10. The difference between our result and Guo Lücan's(M_S=1.13 M_L-1.08) may be caused by regional tectonic characteristics. M_(S Inner Mongolia) value is significantly higher than the M_(S empirical) value, with an average difference of 0.23, the difference distribution of empirical relation and the rectified relation is in the range of 0.2-0.3.

The significant advantage of the quantum homomorphic encryption scheme is to ensure the perfect security of quantum private *** this paper,a novel secure multiparty quantum homomorphic encryption scheme is proposed,which can complete arbitrary quantum computation on the private data of multiple clients without decryption by an almost dishonest ***,each client obtains a secure encryption key through the measurement device independent quantum key distribution protocol and encrypts the private data by using the encryption operator and ***,with the help of the almost dishonest server,the non-maximally entangled states are preshared between the client and the server to correct errors in the homomorphic evaluation of T gates,so as to realize universal quantum circuit evaluation on encrypted ***,from the perspective of the application scenario of secure multi-party computation,this work is based on the probabilistic quantum homomorphic encryption scheme,allowing multiple parties to delegate the server to perform the secure homomorphic *** operation and the permission to access the data performed by the client and the server are clearly pointed ***,a concrete security analysis shows that the proposed multiparty quantum homomorphic encryption scheme can securely resist outside and inside attacks.

Filterless light-ellipticity-sensitive optoelectronic response generally has low discrimination,thus severely hindering the development of monolithic polarization ***,we achieve a breakthrough based on a configurable circular-polarization-dependent optoelectronic silent state created by the superposition of two photoresponses with enantiomerically opposite ellipticity *** zero photocurrent and the significantly suppressed noise of the optoelectronic silent state singularly enhance the circular polarization extinction ratio(CPER)and the sensitivity to light ellipticity *** CPER of our device approaches infinity by the traditional *** newly established CPER taking noise into account is 3-4 orders of magnitude higher than those of ordinary integrated circular polarization detectors,and it remains high in an expanded wavelength *** noise equivalent light ellipticity difference goes below 0.009° Hz-1/2 at modulation frequencies above 1000 Hz by a light power of 281 *** scheme brings a leap in developing monolithic ultracompact circular polarization detectors.
