Clinical Observation on Modified Huan'gan Lipi Decoction Combined with Acupuncture in Treating Spleen Deficiency and Liver Hyperactivity Type Tic Disorders

[Objectives]To observe the clinical efficacy of Modified Huan'gan Lipi Decoction combined with acupuncture in the treatment of spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity type tic disorders(TD).[Methods]Sixty patients with spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity type TD were randomly divided into a treatment group of 40 cases and a control group of 20 cases.The treatment group received Modified Huan'gan Lipi Decoction combined with acupuncture,and the control group received Haloperidol Tablets.After 4 weeks of treatment,the Yale Global Tic Severity Scale(YGTSS)score,the total score of TCM syndrome and the clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.[Results]After treatment,the total effective rate of 87.5%in the treatment group was higher than 80.0%in the control group(P>0.05);the total score of YGTSS and the total score of TCM syndromes in the two groups were compared within groups,P﹤0.01;between groups,P﹤0.01.The recurrence rates of the treatment group and the control group were 11.1%and 71.4%,respectively.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P﹤0.01).[Conclusions]Modified Huan'gan Lipi Decoction combined with acupuncture in the treatment of spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity type TD can significantly improve the patient's tic symptoms,and its long-term efficacy is stable.

This work describes the gelation behaviors and properties of a biological molecule, guanosine 5′-monophosphate disodium salt(GMP), in the presence of trivalent lanthanide ions. Hydrogels composed of GMP-quadruplexes were prepared by adjusting p H,through which the protonation of phosphate group was controlled to tune the interactions between lanthanide ions and GMP.Within the p H region of 2–6, the electrostatic interaction between lanthanide ions and phosphate group is hindered and the cation-dipole interaction acts as the main driving force for the formation of G-quadruplexes. All the hydrogels were found consisting of three-dimensional network of the intertwining one-dimensional nanofibers formed by the stacking G-quartets induced by lanthanide ions. A significant fluorescence enhancement of thioflavin T(Th T), a fluorescent molecule, was found to be triggered by the G-quadruplex structures, for which the rotation of chromophoric groups on Th T molecules were prohibited due to the implant into the G-quadruplex structures.

The amphiphilic derivatives of L-histidine with different alkyl chains, NIPCA, UIPCA, and TIPCA, have been designed and their self-assembly behaviors with citric acid were investigated. All L-histidine derivatives can form hydrogels with citric acid, and exhibit the increasing gelation ability and mechanical strength with the increasing chain length. The gelation ability is considered to be affected by the synergistic effect of electrostatic interaction, hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic interaction. The hydrogels exhibit excellent releasing selectivity for charged dyes in aqueous solution, enlightening people to utilize this kind of hydrogels as intelligent carriers to separate the mixtures of charged dyes.

Bimetallic nickel cobalt sulfides with hierarchical coralliform architecture for ultrafast and stable Na-ion storage

A series of bimetallic nickel cobalt sulfides with hierarchical micro/nano architectures were fabricated via a facile synthesis strategy of bimetallic micro/nano structure precursor construction-anion exchange via solvothermal method. Among the nickel cobalt sulfides with different Ni/Co contents, the coral-like Ni1.01Co1.99S4 (Ni/Co, 1/2) delivers ultrafast and stable Na-ion storage performance (350 mAh·g−1 after 1,000 cycles at 1 A·g−1 and 355 mAh·g−1 at 5 A·g−1). The remarkable electrochemical properties can be attributed to the enhanced conductivity by co-existence of bimetallic components, the unique coral-like micro/nanostructure, which could prevent structural collapse and self-aggregation of nanoparticles, and the easily accessibility of electrolyte, and fast Na+ diffusion upon cycling. Detailed kinetics studies by a galvanostatic intermittent titration technique (GITT) reveal the dynamic change of Na+ diffusion upon cycling, and quantitative kinetic analysis indicates the high contribution of pseudocapacitive behavior during charge-discharge processes. Moreover, the ex-situ characterization analysis results further verify the Na-ion storage mechanism based on conversion reaction. This study is expected to provide a feasible design strategy for the bimetallic sulfides materials toward high performance sodium-ion batteries.

Sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) and potassium-ion batteries (PIBs) have been considered as attractive alternatives for next-generation battery systems, which have promising application potential due to their earth abundance of potassium and sodium, high capacity and suitable working potential, however, the design and application of bi-functional high-performance anode still remain a great challenge up to date. Bismuth sulfide is suitable as anode owing to its unique laminar structure with relatively large interlayer distance to accommodate larger radius ions, high theoretical capacity and high volumetric capacity etc. In this study, dandelion-like Bi_(2)S_(3)/rGO hierarchical microspheres as anode material for PIBs displayed reversible capacity, and 206.91 mAh·g^(−1) could be remained after 1,200 cycles at a current density of 100 mA·g^(−1). When applied as anode materials for SIBs, 300 mAh·g^(−1) could be retained after 300 cycles at 2 A·g^(−1) and its initial Coulombic efficiency is as high as 97.43%. Even at high current density of 10 A·g^(−1), 120.3 mAh·g^(−1) could be preserved after 3,400 cycles. The Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)@rGO//Bi_(2)S_(3)/rGO sodium ion full cells were successfully assembled which displays stable performance after 60 cycles at 100 mA·g^(−1). The above results demonstrate that Bi2S3/rGO has application potential as high performance bi-functional anode for PIBs and SIBs.

中风后肩手综合征为中风后偏瘫患者的常见并发症,其多表现为患侧肩、手关节出现疼痛、活动受限、手部浮肿、皮温肤色改变,甚至挛缩畸形。不仅影响患者的生活、工作,同时对患者的心理带来沉重的负担。本病的发病机制复杂,病情易反复,目前西医治疗手段多以康复为主,但效果较单一,配合中医针灸结合治疗疗效更为显著。孙秀萍主任医师认为中风后肩手综合征多以痰瘀阻滞,气血亏少为主要病机,主张头针、体针与雷火灸相结合治疗,针刺治疗补益气血,疏通经络,雷火灸温阳化痰,化瘀通络,两者合用具有补益气血,通络止痛,祛痰行瘀的功效,值得临床推广及应用。
