A series of novel N-[（1-aryl-3-phenyl-pyrazol-4-yl）methylene]-2-（halo-o-hydroxyphenyl）hydrazide derivatives was synthesized and the antibacterial activity of each of them was evaluated. The supposed reaction mechanism of acquiring compounds 3a--3d is that catalytic activity is enhanced by the electron-donating groups of the first phenyl ring while decreased by electron-withdrawing groups of that ring. The result of preliminary bioassay shows that the lowest minimal inhibitory concentration（MIC） of the title compounds against Escherichia coli is 2 ℃g/mL. MIC values against Monilia albiean and Staphloeoeeus aureus are as low as 4 ~g/mL. They will be a series of potential antibacterial compounds against fungi and gram-negative bacteria.

In order to improve stress tolerances of turf-type tall fescue （Festuca arundinacea Schreb.）, Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain EHA105 carrying plasmid pCMD containing stress tolerance-related CBF1 gene from Arabidopsis thaliana was used to transform mature seeds-derived embryogenic calli of four cultivars. A total of 112 transgenic plants were regenerated from 32 independent lines and verified by histochemical detection of GUS activity, PCR assay and Southern hybridization analysis. The transformation frequency ranged from 0.92 to 2.87% with apparent differences among the cultivars. Stress tolerances of transgenic plants were enhanced, which was shown by the facts that transgenic plants had distinct growth superiority and significantly higher survival rate than non-transformed ones under high salinity and high osmosis stresses, and that relative electronic conductivity of in vitro leaves treated with low and high temoeratures, dehvdration and high salinity stresses was 25-30% lower in transgenic plants than in control *** addition,it was observed that growth of transgenic plants was inhibited due to constitutive overexpression of CBF1 gene under normal environmental conditions.

The properties of Sn-Zn-Al-La fusible alloy for mitigation devices of solid propellant rocket motors

The Al and La elements are added to the Sn9Zn alloy to obtain the fusible alloy for the mitigation devices of solid propellant rocket motors. Differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), metallographic analysis,scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS), tensile testing and fracture analysis were used to study the effect of Al and La elements on the microstructure, melting characteristics, and mechanical properties of the Sn9Zn alloy. Whether the fusible diaphragm can effectively relieve pressure was investigated by the hydrostatic pressure at high-temperature test. Experimental results show that the melting point of the Sn9Zn-0.8Al0·2La and Sn9Zn-3Al0·2La fusible alloys can meet the predetermined working temperature of ventilation. The mechanical properties of those are more than 35% higher than that of the Sn9Zn alloy at-50°C-70°C, and the mechanical strength is reduced by 80% at 175°C. It is proven by the hydrostatic pressure at high-temperature test that the fusible diaphragm can relieve pressure effectively and can be used for the design of the mitigation devices of solid propellant rocket motors.

Owing to the effect of crosswind, initial disturbance and the deviation of engine *** in the initial aviation, vari- able rolling velocity aerocraft will produce attitude angle deviation in the ideal orientations. This paper adopts AVR microcontroller atmega16 and relevant signal process circuit to design the attitude controller and take the method of frequency discrimination and am- plitude discrimination to process attitude angle deviation of aerocraft. Accordingly, it amends attitude angle deviation of aerocraft ef- fect and implements the self- adapting attitude control of aerocraft’s rolling velocity.

Objective： To explore the therapeutic effect of Yishen Qufeng Shengshi Recipe （益肾祛风胜湿方, YQSR） in patients with glomerular proteinuria. Methods： A total of 145 patients with glomerular proteinuria were selected and randomly assigned to the treatment group （108 cases） and the control group （37 cases） according to a random number table in a ratio of 3：1. All patients received conventional and symptomatic treatment. In addition, patients in the treatment and control groups were given YQSR （200 mL, twice per day, orally） and losartan （50 mg/d orally）, respectively for 6 months. The 24-h urine protein quantity, blood urea nitrogen, and serum creatinine in the two groups were measured at multiple time points before and after treatment. Results： At the end of the study, 5 cases were lost to follow-up in the treatment group and 1 in the control group. Finally, the statistical data included 103 cases in the treatment group and 36 cases in the control group. The total effectiveness after 2, 4, and 6 months was 81.6% （84/103）, 87.4% （90/103）, and 92.2% （95/103）, respectively, in the treatment group and 47.2% （17/36）, 55.6% （20/36）, and 61.1% （22/36）, respectively, in the control group, with significant difference between the two groups （P〈0.01 at all observation points）. In the treatment group, the curative effect after 6 months was better than that after 2 months （P〈0.05）. The 24-h urine protein quantity was significantly lower in the treatment group at 3, 4, 5, and 6 months than that in the control group （P〈0.05 or P〈0.01, respectively）. Conclusion： YQSR could significantly reduce the amount of glomerular proteinuria in the early stage.

The genus Corylus is an important member in the Betulaceae family of the order Fagales. Self-incompatibility is one of the choke points in breeding and hazelnut production. This reviewe describes, the progress on pollen-stigma compatibility in Corylus, including basic re- productive characteristics, S-alleles testing and their applications, in- ter-specific hybridization, self-compatibility in wild species, and recent molecular research on the genetic mechanism of compatibility. Com- pared with other species, progress on pollen-stigma compatibility （sporophytic self-incompatibility, SSI） in Corylus is slow, especially those in the Brassicaceae family. De novo approaches should be used to target the unique reproductive characteristics of hazelnuts. The continu- ous improvement of technological platforms based on molecular biology should broaden the pathways in investigating compatibility in Corylus. In addition, research should be conducted on overcoming self- and cross- incompatibility, and approaches based on biological, chemical, and physical principles should be introduced. Both theoretical and practical study of compatibility in Corylus should be devoted to change the self-incompatibility trait into a benefit in the species evolvement and nut quality establishment.

With the observation of a series of ground-based laser interferometer gravitational wave(GW)detectors such as liGO and Virgo,nearly 100 GW events have been detected *** present,all detected GW events are generated by the mergers of compact binary systems and are identified through the data processing of matched *** on matched filtering,we use the GW waveform of the Newtonian approximate(NA)model constructed by linearized theory to match the events detected by liGO and injections to determine the coalescence time and utilize the frequency curve for data fitting to estimate the parameters of the chirp masses of binary black holes(BBHs).The average chirp mass of our results is 22.05_(-6.31)^(+6.31)M_(⊙),which is very close to 23.80_(-3.52)^(+4.83)M_(⊙)provided by *** the process,we can analyze liGO GW events and estimate the chirp masses of the *** work presents the feasibility and accuracy of the low-order approximate model and data fitting in the application of GW data *** is beneficial for further data processing and has certain research value for the preliminary application of GW data.

In this study,an X-band standing-wave biperiodic linear accelerator was developed for medical radiotherapy that can accel-erate electrons to 9 MeV using a 2.4-MW *** structure works atπ/2 mode and adopts magnetic coupling between cavities,generating the appropriate adjacent mode separation of 10 *** accelerator is less than 600-mm long and constitutes four bunching cells and 29 normal *** optimizations,full-scale radiofrequency(RF)simulations,and beam dynamics calculations were *** accelerator was fabricated and examined using a low-power RF *** cold test results showed a good agreement with the simulation and actual measurement *** the high-power RF test,the output beam current,energy spectrum,capture ratio,and spot size at the accelerator exit were *** the input power of 2.4 MW,the pulse current was 100 mA,and the output spot root-mean-square radius was approximately 0.5 *** output kinetic energy was 9.04 MeV with the spectral FWHM of 3.5%,demonstrating the good performance of this accelerator.
