Target detection is one of research focuses for precision chemical *** study developed a method to identify seedling cabbages and weeds using hyperspectral *** processing the image data with ENVI software,after dimension reduction,noise reduction,de-correlation for high-dimensional data,and selection of the region of interest,the SAM(Spectral Angle Mapping)model was built for automatic identification of cabbages and *** the HSI(Hyper Spectral Imaging)Analyzer,the training pixels were used to calculate the average spectrum as the standard *** parameters of the SAM model,which had the best classification results with 3-point smoothing,zero-order derivative,and 6-degrees spectral angle,was determined to achieve the accurate identification of the background,weeds,and *** comparison,the SAM model can completely separate the plants from the soil background but not perfect for weeds to be separated from the *** conclusion,the SAM classification model with the HSI analyzer could completely distinguish weeds from background and cabbages.

The global spin alignment of vector mesons has been observed by the STAR collaboration at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider （RHIC） at Brookhaven National Laboratory （BNL）.It provides a unique opportunity to probe the correlation between the polarized quark and antiquark in the strongly coupled quark-gluon plasma （sQGP） produced in relativistic heavy ion collisions,opening a new window to explore the properties of s *** addition,spin alignments of vector mesons have also been observed in other high-energy particle collisions such as e+e-annihilations at high energies where hadron production is dominated by quark fragmentation *** results obtained are quite different from those obtained in heavy ion collisions where quark coalescence/combination mechanism dominates suggesting strong dependence on hadronization *** comprehensive studies in different hadronization processes are *** this article,we present a brief review of theoretical and experimental advances in the study of vector meson’s spin alignments in a variety of high-energy particle collisions,with emphasis on hadronization mechanisms.

Hydraulic transport in pipelines is the most promising conveying method for large ore particles in deepsea *** dynamic performances of particles during transportation in vertical,inclined and horizontal pipelines are significant for the design of hydraulic transport *** the present study,we focus on the statistical characteristics and flow regimes of the mixture composed of ore particles and seawater in the *** simulations are conducted by using Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)and Discrete Element Method(DEM).The influences of inclination angle and particle diameter are evaluated through two sets of numerical *** regulation of the inclined transport is totally different from that of the vertical transport,whereas the dynamics of the mixtures in inclined and horizontal pipes are similar.A number of particles accumulate on the pipe wall even with a small inclination *** hydraulic gradient and local concentration would occur when the inclination angle of the pipe is in the range of30°-60°.With the decrease of particle diameter,the particle flow becomes uniform,reflected by the almost uniform particle distribution in the vertical pipe and the clear interface between the suspended load and the bed-load in the inclined ***,small particles will introduce larger local concentrations and hydraulic gradients in the inclined pipe,which is not conducive to particle transport.

Comparative Study on the Expression of Genes Involved in Carotenoid and ABA Biosynthetic Pathway in Response to Salt Stress in Tomato

Carotenoid biosynthetic pathway produces not only pigments that protect photosynthetic system against photo-oxidative damage, but also precursors of abscisic acid, the major hormone regulates stress responses. To understand the response of carotenoid biosynthetic pathway to salt stress, the expression of the genes involved in carotenoid and ABA biosynthesis were compared in cultivated tomato Solanum lycopersicon cv. Moneymaker and its relative wild genotype S. pimpinellifolium （PI365967） together with the contents of carotenoids and ABA. The results showed that 11 of the 15 genes investigated were up-regulated and four unaltered in Moneymaker after 5 h of salt stress; whereas only four genes were up-regulated, four unaltered, and seven down-regulated in PI365967 after stress. Further comparison revealed that 11 salinity-induced genes were expressed significantly lower in Moneymaker than in PI365967 under normal condition, and 8 of them were induced to similar levels after salt stress. In consistence, ABA level was doubled in Moneymaker but kept consistent in PI365967 after salt stress, though the contents of neoxanthin, violaxanthin, [3-carotene, lutein, and total carotenoids were kept unchanged in both species. Since it is known that PI365967 is more tolerant to salt stress than Moneymaker, we proposed that the constitutive high level of carotenoid and ABA biosynthetic pathway under normal growth condition could be benefit to PI365967 for establishing the early response to salt stress. In addition, CrtR-bl and CrtR-b2 that encode [3-carotenoid hydroxylases were the only genes in carotenoid biosynthetic pathway that were up-regulated by salt stress in both species. The CrtR-b2 gene was cloned from both species and no essential difference was found in the encoded amino acid sequences. Transformation of CrtR-b2 to tobacco improved the seed germination under salt stress condition, indicating that the hydrolysis of β-carotenoid is the target of transcriptional regulatio

Recent advances in epoxy resins have been forward to achieving high mechanical performance,thermal stability,and flame ***,seeking sustainable bio-based epoxy precursors and avoiding introduction of additional flame-retardant agents are still of increasing *** we report the synthesis of p-hydroxycinnamic acid-derived epoxy monomer(HCA-EP)via a simple one-step reaction,and the HCA-EP can be cured with 4,4′-diaminodiphenylmethane(DDM)to prepare epoxy *** with the typical petroleum-based epoxy resin,bisphenol A epoxy resin,the HCA-EP-DDM shows a relatively high glass transition temperature(192.9℃)and impressive mechanical properties(tensile strength of 98.3 MPa and flexural strength of 158.9 MPa).Furthermore,the HCA-EP-DDM passes the V-1 flammability rating in UL-94 test and presents the limiting oxygen index of 32.6%.Notably,its char yield is as high as 31.6%under N_(2),and the peak heat rate release is 60%lower than that of bisphenol A epoxy *** findings provide a simple way of using p-hydroxycinnamic acid instead of bisphenol A to construct high-performance bio-based thermosets.
