The sodium-dependent glucose transporters 2(SGLT2)plays important role in renal reabsorption of urinal glucose back to plasma for maintaining glucose *** approval of SGLT2 inhibitors for treatment of type 2 diabetes highlights the SGLT2 as a feasible and promising drug target in recent *** methods for screening SGLT2 inhibitors are complex,expensive and labor ***,these methods cannot directly measure nonradioactive glucose uptake in endogenous SGLT2-expressing kidney *** present work,human kidney cells,HK-2,was incubated with a fluorescent D-glucose derivant 2-[N-(7-nitrobenz-2-oxa-1,3-diazol-4-yl)amino]-2-deoxy-D-glucose(2-NBDG)and the fluorescent intensity of 2-NBDG was employed to measure the amount of glucose uptake into the *** optimizing the passages of HK-2 cells,2-NBDG concentration and incubation time,and by measuring glucose uptake treated by Dapagliflozin,a clinical drug of SGLT2 inhibitors,we successfully developed a new assay for measuring glucose uptake through *** nonradioactive microplate and microscope-based high-throughput screening assay for measuring glucose can be a new method for screening of SGLT2 inhibitors and implied for other cell assays for glucose measurement extensively.

Widely used spin-coated nickle oxide （NiOx） based perovskite solar cells often suffer from severe interfacial reactions between the NiOxand adjacent perovskite layers due to surface defect states,which inherently impair device performance in a long-term view,even with surface molecule *** this study,we developed high-quality magnetron-sputtered NiOxthin films through detailed process optimization,and compared systematically sputtered and spin-coated NiOxthin film surfaces from materials to *** sputtered NiOxfilms exhibit improved crystallinity,smoother surfaces,and significantly reduced Ni3+or Ni vacancies compared to their spin-coated ***,the interface between the perovskite and sputtered NiOxfilm shows a substantially reduced density of defect *** solar cells （PSCs） fabricated with our optimally sputtered NiOxfilms achieved a high power conversion efficiency （PCE） of up to 19.93%and demonstrated enhanced stability,maintaining 86.2% efficiency during 500 h of maximum power point tracking under one standard sun ***,with the surface modification using (4-(2,7-dibromo-9,9-dimethylacridin-10（9H）-yl)butyl)p hosphonic acid （DmacPA）,the device PCE was further promoted to 23.07%,which is the highest value reported for sputtered NiOxbased PSCs so far.

Biomechanical properties of peripheral nerve after acellular ：reatment

Peripheral nerve injury causes a high rate of disability and a huge economic burden, and is currently one of the serious health problems in the world. The use of nerve grafts plays a vital role in repairing nerve defects. Acellular nerve grafts have been widely used in many experimental models as a peripheral nerve substitute. The purpose of this study was to test the biomechanical properties of acellular nerve grafts. Methods Thirty-four fresh sciatic nerves were obtained from 17 adult male Wistar rats （age of 3 months） and randomly assigned to 3 groups： normal control group, nerve segments underwent no treatment and were put in phosphate buffered saline （pH 7.4） and stored at 4℃ until further use; physical method group, nerve segments were frozen at -196℃ and then thawed at 37℃; and chemical method group, nerve segments were chemically extracted with the detergents Triton X-200, sulfobetaine-10 （SB-10） and sulfobetaine-16 （SB-16）. After the acellularization process was completed, the structural changes of in the sciatic nerves in each group were observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining and field emission scanning electron microscopy, then biomechanical properties were tested using a mechanical apparatus （Endura TEC ELF 3200, Bose, Boston, USA）. Results Hematoxylin-eosin staining and field emission scanning electron microscopy demonstrated that the effects of acellularization, demyelination, and integrity of nerve fiber tube of the chemical method were better than that of the physical method. Biomechanical testing showed that peripheral nerve grafts treated with the chemical method resulted in some decreased biomechanical properties （ultimate load, ultimate stress, ultimate strain, and mechanical work to fracture） compared with normal control nerves, but the differences were not statistically significant （P 〉0.05）. Conclusion Nerve treated with the chemical method may be more appropriate for use in implantation than nerve treated with the physical method.

We theoretically investigate the spin resolved Friedel oscillation （FO） and quasiparticle interference （QPI） in graphene induced by an Anderson *** the impurity becomes magnetic,the resulted FO becomes spin dependent,which gives rise to a local magnetic moment oscillation with an envelop decaying as r-2in real space in the doping ***,at half filling,the electron density and local magnetic moment will not oscillate but decay as *** spin resolved FO has both sublattice and spin ***,the local magnetic moment decay at half filling only occurs at one sublattice of graphene,which is quite like the phenomenon observed in the STM experiment (***ález-Herrero et al.,Science 352,437 （2016）).We further give an analytic formula about such spin dependent FO based on the stationary phase ***,we study the interference of quasiparticles around the magnetic impurity by calculating the spin dependent Fourier-transformed local density of states （FT-LDOS）.Our work gives a comprehensive understanding about the local magnetic moment oscillation around an Anderson impurity on graphene.

Gas quenching and vacuum quenching process are widely applied to accelerate solvent volatilization to induce nucleation of perovskites in blade-coating *** this work,we found these two pre-crystallization processes lead to different order of crystallization dynamics within the perovskite thin film,resulting in the differences of additive *** then tailor-designed an additive molecule named 1,3-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)thiourea to obtain films with fewer defects and holes at the buried interface,and prepared perovskite solar cells with a certified efficiency of 23.75%.Furthermore,this work also demonstrates an efficiency of 20.18%for the large-area perovskite solar module(PSM)with an aperture area of 60.84 cm^(2).The PSM possesses remarkable continuous operation stability for maximum power point tracking of T_(90)>1000 h in ambient air.

Traumatic brain injury involves complex pathophysiological mechanisms,among which oxidative stress significantly contributes to the occurrence of secondary *** this study,we evaluated hypidone hydrochloride(YL-0919),a self-developed antidepressant with selective sigma-1 receptor agonist properties,and its associated mechanisms and targets in traumatic brain *** experiments to assess functional deficits were followed by assessment of neuronal damage through histological analyses and examination of blood-brain barrier permeability and brain ***,we investigated the antioxidative effects of YL-0919 by assessing the levels of traditional markers of oxidative stress in vivo in mice and in vitro in HT22 ***,the targeted action of YL-0919 was verified by employing a sigma-1 receptor antagonist(BD-1047).Our findings demonstrated that YL-0919 markedly improved deficits in motor function and spatial cognition on day 3 post traumatic brain injury,while also decreasing neuronal mortality and reversing blood-brain barrier disruption and brain ***,YL-0919 effectively combated oxidative stress both in vivo and in *** protective effects of YL-0919 were partially inhibited by *** results indicated that YL-0919 relieved impairments in motor and spatial cognition by restraining oxidative stress,a neuroprotective effect that was partially reversed by the sigma-1 receptor antagonist ***-0919 may have potential as a new treatment for traumatic brain injury.

BACKGROUND:Budd-Chiari syndrome (BCS) is an un- common disorder caused by the obstruction of hepatic ve- nous outflow and/or the inferior vena cava. major thera- peutic approaches include operation and radiological inter- vention. This study was conducted to investigate the treat- ment of severe BCS. METHODS: The clinical data of 147 patients with severe BCS who had been treated at our hospital from November 1994 to December 2003 were retrospectively analyzed. RESULTS: One hundred twenty-one patients with BCS un- derwent surgery, including mesocaval C type shunt with ar- tificial graft (82 patients), splenojugular shunt (37), meso- jugular shunt (2), percutaneous transhepatic recanalization and dilatation and/or stent placement of the main hepatic vein (MHV) (12), and combined percutaneous transhepa- tic angioplasty (PTA) and stent placement of the inferior vena cava and mesocaval shunt (14). Follow-up for 6-108 months showed excellent results in 102 patients (69.4%), good results in 40 (27.2% ), and 5 deaths. CONCLUSION: Good results could be obtained in most of patients with BCS after different surgical treatments accord- ing to the pathological changes of the IVC and MHV.
