Inhibition of Bcl-6 expression Ameliorates Asthmatic Characteristics in Mice

Well posedness analysis of a parabolic-hyperbolic free boundary problem for necrotic tumors growth

In this paper,we study a free boundary problem of tumor growth with necrotic *** model is a parabolic-hyperbolic partial differential equations,which is composed of three first-order nonlinear hyperbolic equations,a parabolic equation and an ordinary differential ***,we obtained the approximation model by polishing the Heaviside function,and then proved the existence and uniqueness of the solution of the approximation *** addition,we improved the regularity of solution of the approximate problem by using the characteristic curves method,and finally proved the global existence of the weak solution of the original problem by the convergence.

Dynamic Simulation of Distribution Networks Using Multi-stage Discontinuous Galerkin Method

Dynamic simulation plays a fundamental role in security evaluation of distribution networks(DNs).However,the strong stiffness and non-linearity of distributed generation(DG)models in DNs bring about burdensome computation and noteworthy instability on traditional methods which hampers the rapid response of simulation ***,a novel L-stable approximate analytical method with high accuracy is proposed to handle these *** method referred to as multistage discontinuous Galerkin method(MDGM),first derives approximate analytical solutions(AASs)of state variables which are explicit symbolic expressions concerning system ***,in each time window,it substitutes values for symbolic variables and trajectories of state variables are obtained *** paper applies MDGM to DG models to derive ***-truncation-error-based variable step size strategy is also developed to further improve simulation *** addition,this paper establishes detailed MDGM-based dynamic simulation *** case studies on a numerical problem,a modified 33-bus system and a practical large-scale DN,it can be seen that proposed method demonstrates fast and dependable performance compared with the traditional trapezoidal method.

Achieving versatile room temperature phosphorescence(RTP)materials,especially with tunable mechanical properties and shape memory is attractive and essential but rarely ***,a strategy was reported to realize multi-functional RTP films with multicolor fluorescence,ultralong afterglow,adjustable mechanical properties,and shape memory through the synergistic dynamic interaction of lanthanide(Ln~Ⅲ)-terpyridine coordination,borate ester bonds,and hydrogen bondings in a poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA)*** varying the amount of borax,the mechanical properties of the films could be finely controlled due to the change of crosslinking degree of dynamic borate ester bonds in *** assembly and disassembly of borate ester bonds upon the trigger of borax and acid were applied as reversible linkage to achieve programmable shape memory *** addition,the films displayed both fascinating multicolor fluorescence and ultralong afterglow characteristics due to the presence of Ln III doping and confinement of terpyridine in *** study provides a new avenue to impart modulable mechanical strength and shape memory to RTP materials.

Uncovering Chemical Interactions between Danshen and Danggui Using Liquid Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry and Network Pharmacology-Based Research on Stroke

Objective: The objective of this study was to decipher chemical interactions between Danshen and Danggui using liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry(LC-MS) and explore the mechanisms of Danshen–Danggui against stroke using network pharmacology and molecular docking. Materials and Methods: First, the chemical compounds of Danshen–Danggui were profiled using ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)-quadrupole time-of-flight MS. Accurately characterized compounds in various proportions of Danshen–Danggui were quantified using HPLC combined with triple quadrupole electrospray tandem MS. Network pharmacology was used to uncover the essential mechanisms of action of Danshen–Danggui against stroke. Discovery Studio Software was used for the molecular docking verification of key active chemicals and stroke-related targets. Results: A total of 53 compounds were characterized, and 22 accurately identified constituents(10 phenolic acids, 8 phthalides, and 4 tanshinones) were quantified in 15 proportions of Danshen–Danggui. The quantification results showed that Danggui significantly increased the dissolution of most phenolic acids(compounds from Danshen), whereas Danshen promoted the dissolution of most phthalides(compounds from Danggui). Overall, the combination of Danshen and Danggui at a 1:1 ratio resulted in the maximum total dissolution rate. Further network pharmacology and molecular docking results indicated that Danshen–Danggui exerted anti-stroke effects mainly by regulating inflammation-related(tumor necrosis factor, hypoxia-inducible factor, and toll-like receptor) signaling pathways, which ranked among the top three pathways based on Kyoto encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KeGG) enrichment analysis. Conclusion: The chemical compounds in Danshen–Danggui could interact with each other to increase the dissolution of the most active compounds, which could provide a solid basis for uncovering the compatibility mechanisms of Danshen–Danggui and Danshen–Danggu

BACKGROUND Mazabraud’s syndrome(MS)is a rare and slowly progressive benign disease characterized by the concurrent presence of fibrous dysplasia of bone and intramuscular myxoma,and is thought to be associated with mutations of the GNAS *** date,only about 100 cases of MS have been reported in the literature,but its standard treatment strategy remains *** SUMMARY We report two cases of MS in young women who underwent different treatments based on their symptoms and disease *** first patient,aged 37,received internal fixation and intravenous bisphosphonate for a pathological fracture of the right femoral neck,excision of a right vastus medialis myxoma was subsequently performed for pain control,and asymptomatic psoas myxomas were monitored without *** testing confirmed a GNAS gene mutation in this *** second patient,aged 24,underwent right vastus intermedius muscle myxoma resection,and conservative treatment for fibrous dysplasia of the *** patients were followed-up for 17 months and 3 years,respectively,and are now in a stable *** Various treatments have been selected for MS patients who suffer different *** main treatment for myxomas is surgical resection,while fibrous dysplasia is selectively treated if the patient experiences pathological fracture or severe ***,given the documented instances of malignant transformation of fibrous dysplasia in individuals with MS,close follow-up is necessary.

The Lamb shift of a quantum emitter in close proximity to a plasmonic nanostructure can be three or more orders of magnitude larger than that in the free space and is ultra-sensitive to the emitter position and *** demonstrate that this large Lamb shift can be sensitively observed from the scattering or absorption spectrum dip shift of the coupled system when the plasmonic nanoparticle or tip scans the *** these observations,we propose a scanning optical scattering imaging method based on the plasmonic-enhanced Lamb shift with achieves sub-nanometer *** method is based on the scattering or absorption spectrum of the plasmon-emitter coupling system,which is free of the fluorescence quenching problem and easier to implement in a plasmon-emitter coupling *** addition,our scheme works even if the quantum emitter is slightly below the dielectric surface,which can bring about broader applications,such as detecting atoms and molecules or quantum dots above or under a surface.
