High-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation promotes neural stem cell proliferation after ischemic stroke

Prolife ration of neural stem cells is crucial for promoting neuronal regeneration and repairing cerebral infarction *** magnetic stimulation(TMS)has recently emerged as a tool for inducing endogenous neural stem cell regeneration,but its underlying mechanisms remain unclea r In this study,we found that repetitive TMS effectively promotes the proliferation of oxygen-glucose deprived neural stem ***,repetitive TMS reduced the volume of cerebral infa rction in a rat model of ischemic stro ke caused by middle cerebral artery occlusion,im p roved rat cognitive function,and promoted the proliferation of neural stem cells in the ischemic ***-sequencing found that repetitive TMS activated the Wnt signaling pathway in the ischemic penumbra of rats with cerebral ***,PCR analysis revealed that repetitive TMS promoted AKT phosphorylation,leading to an increase in mRNA levels of cell cycle-related proteins such as Cdk2 and *** effect was also associated with activation of the glycogen synthase kinase 3β/β-catenin signaling pathway,which ultimately promotes the prolife ration of neural stem ***,we validated the effect of repetitive TMS on AKT *** found that repetitive TMS promoted Ca2+influx into neural stem cells by activating the P2 calcium channel/calmodulin pathway,thereby promoting AKT phosphorylation and activating the glycogen synthase kinase 3β/β-catenin *** findings indicate that repetitive TMS can promote the proliferation of endogenous neural stem cells through a Ca2+influx-dependent phosphorylated AKT/glycogen synthase kinase 3β/β-catenin signaling *** study has produced pioneering res ults on the intrinsic mechanism of repetitive TMS to promote neural function recove ry after ischemic stro *** results provide a stro ng scientific foundation for the clinical application of repetitive ***,repetitive TMS treatment may not only be an efficient an

木屑-硫磺填充床反硝化滤柱脱氮性能研究

以木屑与硫磺颗粒为填料,设计了混合营养体系的反硝化滤柱,探讨装置在处理低C/N废水时,不同HRT和进水NO_(3)^(-)-N浓度对脱氮效果的影响。结果表明:木屑的稳定释碳速率为0.377 mg/(g·d),浸出液主体成分为酰胺类有机物和有机酸。在进水NO_(3)^(-)-N为中浓度水平(20 mg/L左右),HRT分别为8,4,2,1,0.5 h时,TN去除率分别为50.4%、33.71%、21.63%、12.93%和8.03%,NO_(3)^(-)-N去除率分别为66.9%、56.27%、0.5%、22.2%和18.1%。过程中出现了明显的NO_(2)^(-)-N积累,最大累积量为7.184mg/L。木屑-硫磺填充床生物滤柱在低浓度水平(10 mg/L左右)下表现出良好的脱氮效果,HRT=2 h时,NO_(3)^(-)-N去除率最高可达到85.62%,TN去除率稳定在40%左右。木屑和硫磺作为混合填料,可以为异养和自养反硝化细菌提供能源,同时平衡系统的pH值,有效地通过反硝化作用实现对NO_(3)^(-)-N的去除。

Investigation of mechanical and electrical characteristics of selfsensing pneumatic torsional actuators

Soft pneumatic actuators are one of the most promising actuation for soft robots,and great achievements have been *** it remains challenging to endow sensing capabilities to pneumatic actuators,especially for the sensing ability originating directly from the actuator ***,a self-sensing pneumatic torsional actuator(SPTA)is designed based on the electromagnetic induction effect and magnetically responsive *** SPTA can generate feedback voltage and current with the deformation,in which the sensing function comes from its inherent *** investigate the mechanical and electrical characteristics,an experimental platform and a finite element model are established,*** find that the torsion angle and output torque increase in nonlinear with the actuating *** maximum torsion angle is 66.35°,which is 84.34%of that for the actuator fabricated by pure *** maximum output torque(24.9 N mm)improves by 23.19%compared with the actuator made by pure *** regards the electrical characteristics,the maximum feedback voltage and current are 2.90μV and 29.50 nA when the SPTA is actuated by a pressure of−40 *** also demonstrate that the relationship between the torsion angle and the magnetic flux change is approximately ***,the number of turns of wires,magnetic powders contents,and magnetic direction on the feedback voltage and current are *** show that the feedback voltage and current can be enhanced by increasing the number of turns and magnetic powders *** envision that the SPTA would be promising for soft robots to realize their accuracy control and intelligentization.

Effect of CO_(2) Opposing Multiple Jets on Thermoacoustic Instability and NO_(x) Emissions in a Lean-Premixed Model Combustor

This paper experimentally studied the effect of CO_(2) opposing multiple jets on the thermoacoustic instability and NO_(x) emissions in a lean-premixed model *** feasibility was verified from three variables:the CO_(2) jet flow rate,hole numbers,and hole diameters of the *** indicate that the control effect of thermoacoustic instability and NO_x emissions show a reverse trend with the increase of open area ratio on the whole,and the optimal jet flow rate range is 1-4 L/min with CO_(2) opposing multiple *** this flow rate range,the amplitude and frequency of the dynamic pressure and heat release signals CH~* basically decrease as the CO_(2) flow rate increases,which avoids high-frequency and high-amplitude thermoacoustic *** amplitude-damped ratio of dynamic pressure and CH*can reach as high as 98.75% and 93.64% with an optimal open area ratio of 3.72%.NO_(x) emissions also decrease as the jet flow rate increases,and the maximum suppression ratio can reach 68.14%.Besides,the flame shape changes from a steep inverted "V" to a more flat "M",and the flame length will become shorter with CO_(2) opposing multiple *** research achieved the synchronous control of thermoacoustic instability and NO_(x) emissions,which could be a design reference for constructing a safer and cleaner combustor.

A vertical track nonlinear energy sink

Eliminating the effects of gravity and designing nonlinear energy sinks(NESs)that suppress vibration in the vertical direction is a challenging task with numerous damping *** this paper,the dynamic design of a vertical track nonlinear energy sink(VTNES)with zero linear stiffness in the vertical direction is proposed and realized for the first *** motion differential equations of the VTNES coupled with a linear oscillator(LO)are *** the strong nonlinearity considered of the VTNES,the steady-state response of the system is analyzed with the harmonic balance method(HBM),and the accuracy of the HBM is verified *** this basis,the VTNES prototype is manufactured,and its nonlinear stiffness is *** damping effect and dynamic characteristics of the VTNES are studied theoretically and *** results show that the VTNES has better damping effects when strong modulation responses(SMRs)***,even for small-amplitude vibration,the VTNES also has a good vibration suppression *** sum up,in order to suppress the vertical vibration,an NES is designed and developed,which can suppress the vertical vibration within certain ranges of the resonance frequency and the vibration intensity.

Distributed Fault-Tolerant Control of Uncertain Multi-Agent Systems with Connectivity Maintenance

In this paper,a distributed cooperative control protocol is presented to deal with actuator failures of multi-agent systems in the presence of connectivity *** the developed strategy,each agent can track the reference trajectory of the leader in the presence of actuator failures,disturbances and *** connectivity of the multi-agent system can always be ensured during the control *** achieve the aforementioned control objectives,a potential function is introduced to the distributed adaptive fault-tolerant control algorithm to preserve the initial connected network among the *** uncertainty of the multi-agent system,which is allowed to be described by discontinuous functions,is approximated and compensated using the fuzzy logic *** asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system is demonstrated through the use of Cellina’s approximate selection theorem of nonsmooth *** to the developed adaptive laws,the upper bound of the disturbance is allowed to be uncertain,which facilitates the implementation of the control ***,simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.
