MnWO_(4)/WO_(3) p-n heterojunction films were fab.icated using a one-step method consisting of the plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO)of titanium in homogeneous electrolytes containing paratungstate ions a.d stab.e watersolub.e EdTA-chelated *** influences of the formation current density a.d W:Mn molar ratio of the electrolyte,which was v.ried from 1:2 to 2:1,on the composition,morphology,a.d optical a.d photocatalytic properties of the resulting coatings were studied.X-ray diffraction analysis,scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersiv. X-ray analysis,Raman spectroscopy,a.d ultrav.olet diffuse reflectance spectroscopy were used to characterize the formed *** of the W:Mn ratio of the electrolyte,the coatings contained crystalline t-WO_(3) a.d m-MnWO_(4).depending on the formation conditions,the optical b.0} gap energies of the composites v.ried from 2.63 to 3.01 *** largest ab.orption red shift a.d lowest b.0} gap energy were ob.erv.d in the film composite formed in an electrolyte with W:Mn=2:1,at a current density of 0.2 A cm^(−2).composites ob.ained in electrolytes with W:Mn ratios of 2:1 a.d 1:1 exhib.ted photocatalytic activ.ty in the degradation of rhodamine C a.d methyl orange dyes in the presence of 10 mmol L^(–1) H2O_(2) under ultrav.olet a.d v.sib.e light *** role of hydrogen peroxide in this dye degradation on PEO-coated composites under light irradiation is discussed.

Ion heat transport in electron cyclotron resonance heated L-mode plasma on the T-10 tokamak

Anomalous ion heat transport is analyzed in the T-10 tokamak plasma heated with electron cyclotron resonance heating(ECRH) in second-harmonic extra-ordinary mode. Predictiv. modeling with empirical scaling for Ohmical heat conductiv.ty shows that in ECRH plasmas the calculated ion temperature could b. ov.restimated, so an increase of anomalous ion heat transport is required. To study this effect two scans are presented: ov.r the EC resonance position a.d ov.r the ECRH power. The EC resonance position v.ries from the high-field side to the low-field side b. v.riation of the toroidal magnetic field. The scan ov.r the heating power is presented with on-axis a.d mixed ECRH regimes. discharges with high anomalous ion heat transport are ob.ained in all considered regimes. In these discharges the power b.lance ion heat conductiv.ty exceeds the neoclassical lev.l b. up to 10 times. The high ion heat transport regimes are distinguished b. three parameters: the ratio Te/Ti, the normalized electron density gradient R/■, a.d the ion–ion collisionality νii~*. The comb.nation of high Te/Ti, high νii~*, a.d R/■=6-10 results in v.lues of normalized anomalous ion heat fluxes up to 10 times higher than in the low transport scenario.

The study focused on the modification with platinum of dark defectiv. titania ob.ained v.a pulsed laser ab.ation. b.th the method of Pt introduction a.d the nature of the Pt precursor were v.ried. All samples exhib.ted similar phase compositions, specific surface areas, a.d Pt contents. High-resolution transmission electron microscopy coupled with pulsed co adsorption rev.aled increased dispersity when photoreduction a.d the hydroxonitrate complex (Me _(4) N) _(2) [Pt _(2) (OH) _(2) (NO _(3) ) _(8) ] were used. The sample featured a high content of single-atom species a.d sub.ano-sized Pt clusters. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results showed that the photoreduction method facilitated the appearance of a larger numb.r of Pt ^(2+) states, which appeared owing to the strong metal-support interaction (SMSI) eff ect of the transfer of electron density from the electron-saturated defects on the TiO _(2) surface to Pt ^(4+) . In the hydrogen ev.lution reaction, samples with a significant fraction of the Pt ^(2+) ionic component, capab.e of generating short-liv.d Pt^(0) single-atom sites under irradiation due to the SMSI eff ect, exhib.ted the highest photocatalytic activ.ty. The 0.5Pt(C)/TiO_(2) -Ph sample exhib.ted the highest hydrogen yield with a quantum efficiency of 0.53, retaining its activ.ty ev.n after 8 h of operation.
