Non-precious metal-nitrogen-carbon(MNC)electrocatalysts have gained tremendous attention as promising electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER).However,the most applicable strategies for the synthesis of MNC materials heavily rely on pyrolysis treatment,which may easily lead to metal aggregation and subsequent degradation of catalytic ***,we developed a pyrolysis-free strategy for preparing MNC materials,which was demonstrated by achieving ultrathin cobalt-nitrogen-carbon(Co NC)layer with dense atomically dispersed cobalt sites depositing on graphene oxide(GO)via simple treatment of Co salt and GO in *** formamide-derived Co NC layer deposited on GO(termed as f-Co NC/GO)could be controlled in 1-2 nm ***,the f-CoNC/GO composite without pyrolysis exhibited excellent bifunctional performance toward ORR and OER,which was attributed to the dense atomically dispersed Co-Nxsites and improved conductivity by GO ***,the f-CoNC/GO-assembled rechargeable Zn-air battery showed highly efficient and stable performance,demonstrating our pyrolysis-free method to be straightforward,cost-effective,and feasible for the scalable production of MNC electrocatalysts.

The Wangjiazhuang porphyry copper(-molybdenum)deposit is located at Zouping volcanic basin in shandong Province,East China and hosted in the Wangjiazhuang intrusive complex emplaced along a late volcanic *** are two types of ores in this deposit:early disseminated and stockwork ores in the ore-bearing intrusion,and late massive sulfide-quartz veins above brecciated quartz *** ore minerals are mainly pyrite,chalcopyrite,and subordinately magnetite,tennantite,molybdenite with minor bornite,enargite,galena and sphalerite,etc.,and gangue minerals including K-feldspar,biotite,quartz,muscovite-sericite,chlorite and *** with fluid inclusion study,the scanning electron microscope-cathodoluminescence(SEM-CL)study of quartz in the deposit and wall rocks shows significant differences between the two types of quartz in the *** addition,four types of primary-pseudosecondary fluid inclusions in the quartz have been *** are one-or two-phase aqueous inclusions with vapor/liquid ratios less than 30%to 40%(type Ⅰ);gas-rich inclusions with vapor/liquid ratios more than 50%(type Ⅱ),some of which contain some small opaque minerals,probably chalcopyrite;multiphase fluid inclusions with daughter minerals of halite±anhydrite±opaque(chalcopyrite)±sylvite±hematite±unknown crystal(type Ⅲ);and mica-bearing fluid inclusions(type Ⅳ).Quartz containing abundant muscovite-bearing and halite-bearing fluid inclusions in the mineralized quartz monzonite with potassic-silicic alteration,have better oscillatory growth zoning with CL-colors from bright in the core to darker in the rim,indicating variations of element concentrations in the fluid media from which quartz grew during the later period of magmatic-hydrothermal *** contrast,the quartz in the sulfide-quartz veins contains mainly fluid inclusions of low-to-medium salinities and does not show oscillatory zoning,indicating that there was less fluctuation in composition and element concentratio

Osteoarthritis is associated with the significantly increased friction of the joint,which results in progressive and irreversible damage to the articular cartilage.A synergistic therapy integrating lubrication enhancement and drug delivery is recently proposed for the treatment of early-stage *** the present study,bioinspired by the self-adhesion performance of mussels and super-lubrication property of articular cartilages,a biomimetic self-adhesive dopamine methacrylamide-poly(2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine)(DMA-MPC)copolymer was designed and synthesized via free radical *** copolymer was successfully modified onto the surface of biodegradable mesoporous silica nanoparticles(bMSNs)by the dip-coating method to prepare the dual-functional nanoparticles(bMSNs@DMA-MPC),which were evaluated using a series of surface characterizations including the transmission electron microscope(TEM),Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectrum,thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),*** tribological test and in vitro drug release test demonstrated that the developed nanoparticles were endowed with improved lubrication performance and achieved the sustained release of an anti-inflammatory drug,i.e.,diclofenac sodium(DS).In addition,the in vitro biodegradation test showed that the nanoparticles were almost completely biodegraded within 10 ***,the dual-functional nanoparticles were biocompatible and effectively reduced the expression levels of two inflammation factors such as interleukin-1β(IL-1β)and interleukin-6(IL-6).In summary,the surface functionalized nanoparticles with improved lubrication and local drug release can be applied as a potential intra-articularly injected biolubricant for synergistic treatment of early-stage osteoarthritis.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the protective effect of Shouzhangshen(Rhizoma Gymnadeniae Crassinervidis)extract against acute high altitude hypoxia-induced brain injury in ***:Sixty C57BL/6J mice were selected and assigned to six groups(n=10):normal control group,low-pressure hypoxia group,positive control group(dexamethasone 500 mg/kg),and three groups treated with Shouzhangshen extract(250,500,and 750 mg/kg,respectively).The Morris water maze test was performed to evaluate alterations in spatial learning and memory *** staining was performed to detect Nissl bodies and neuron ***-inducible factor(HIF)-1α,interleukin(IL)-1β,tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α,vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),and malondialdehyde(MDA)expression in brain tissue and serum,as well as superoxide dismutase(SOD)and glutathione(GSH)activity in brain tissues were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays,quantitative real-time-polymerase chain reaction and western ***:The Morris water maze test results showed that Shouzhangshen extract can significantly reduce the latency and swimming distance to escape onto a visible platform,increase neuron density and hierarchy and the number of pyramidal neurons,and decrease the expression of HIF-1α,IL-1β,TNF-α,and VEGF mRNAs and proteins in both brain tissue and serum(P0.05).CONCLUSION:Our findings suggest that Shouzhangshen extract may have a significant effect on acute high altitude hypoxia-induced brain injury in mice.

The South China Sea （SCS）, in particular the northern SCS, is one of ocean areas where energetic internal solitary waves （ISWs）occur most frequently （Cai et al., 2012; Zheng, 2017）. Based on the re-appearance period （RP） at an observation station, Ramp et al.（2004） divided the ISWs into two types：Type-a and Type-b. Type-a ISWs arrive regularly at the same time every day, i.e., the RP is about 24 h, and Type-b ISWs arrive about one hour late every day, i.e., the RP is about 25 h.

The elements of Green function matrix are the nonlinear functions of fault parameters estimation, the randomness of fault parameters estimation causes that the slip distribution inversion turns to be the parameter estimation problem of total least squares. Second-order approaching function method, scaled unscented transformation(SUT) method and adaptive Monte Carlo method are designed for biases of displacements in rectangular dislocation model. They are used to analyze effects of the length, width,depth and dip of fault with different variances on the corresponding displacements of unit strike slip dislocation fault, unit dip slip dislocation fault and unit tensile dislocation fault. Results of the simulated fault show that compared with second-order approaching function method and adaptive Monte Carlo method, SUT method has better computational efficiency. The second-order term has dominant effects on nonlinear relationship between displacements and the fault parameter in the rectangular dislocation model. The main biases of displacements are near to fault. The corresponding displacements of unit tensile dislocation are mostly susceptible to fault parameters estimation, followed by the unit dip slip dislocation and unit strike slip dislocation. In addition, the vertical displacement is more sensitive to fault parameters estimation than horizontal displacements.

Cold spray(CS) is considered as a new type of repairing technique for restoration or remanufacturing of a wide range of unserviceable engineering components due to its unique ‘cold’ characteristic. In this work, a viable repairing approach i.e. "cold spraying followed by hot rolling post-treatment" was successfully applied to restore defective neutron shielding B_(4)C/6061 Al composite plates. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD) results revealed that the coating-substrate interface is in a good bonding state without micro-cracks. Hot rolling post-treatment resulted in improved microstructure of the as-sprayed deposit with more uniform distribution of B_(4)C particles in the ***, well bonded splat boundaries and strain free Al grains were evolved in the matrix due to enhanced splat deformation and continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX). Three-point bending test results revealed that the strength of the repaired material is at par with the in-service plates. The findings of this work could be considered as a great stride to further extend possible applications of CS for repairing engineering structural components.
