Spatial heterogeneity or“patchiness”of plankton distributions in the ocean has always been an attractive and challenging scientific issue to *** focused on the accumulation and dynamic mechanism of the Acetes chinensis in the Lianyungang nearshore licensed fishing *** Lagrangian frame approaches including the Lagrangian coherent structures theory,Lagrangian residual current,and Lagrangian particle-tracking model were applied to find the transport pathways and aggregation characteristics of Acetes *** exist some material transport pathways for Acetes chinensis passing through the licensed fishing area,and Acetes chinensis is easy to accumulate in the licensed fishing *** main mechanism forming this distribution pattern is the local circulation induced by the nonlinear interaction of topography and tidal *** the Lagrangian coherent structure analysis and the particle trajectory tracking indicate that Acetes chinensis in the licensed fishing area come from the nearshore *** work contributed to the adjustment of licensed fishing area and the efficient utilization of fishery resources.

Selenium(Se),a well-known essential element in human health,plays a vital role in regulating metabolism owing to its antioxidative ***,organic Se compounds are toxic and cannot be used for biomedical *** nanoparticles(SeNPs)exhibit low biological toxicity and high bioavailability;however,they are prone to ag-gregation and are extremely unstable,thereby diminishing their bioactivity and *** overcome these limitations,ultra-small,highly stable,and bioactive SeNPs were synthesised based on an in-situ hybridisation strategy by using polyphenol-grafted-chitosan(GA-CS)to control and restrict crystal growth of Se *** resul-tant GA-CS@nSe exhibited an average particle size of~30 nm and was highly stable in aqueous *** addition,GA-CS@nSe displayed improved biocompatibility and enhanced antioxidative *** together,the authors provide a basis for polyphenol-mediated construction of Se-based particles with increased bioactivity.

The clinical requirements for wound care are increasing daily, and the global wound dressing market is expanding;however, the research and development of new wound dressings are imminent. Natural biomolecules such as polyphenols, have been widely used in this field of vision. Owing to their unique anti-oxidative, adhesive, antibacterial and other bioactive functions, researchers have developed a series of wound dressings with excellent performance and applied them to a variety of biomaterials, such as hydrogels, nanofibers, films and scaffolds. They can effectively promote angiogenesis and fibroblast migration and proliferation, scavenge active oxygen free radicals, inhibit excessive in-flammatory reactions at wound sites and ultimately accelerate wound healing. The authors summarise the latest progress in polyphenol-derived biomaterials in skin wound repair to provide inspiration for future wound dressing research.

基于线激光三角测距法的鱼体测距研究

针对水下单目非接触测量鱼体大小问题,通常需要测量水下鱼体距离获取其表面的三维信息,提出了一种基于线激光三角测距法的鱼体测距方案,并对水下激光测距技术展开研究。根据光路原理测距需要测量多个参数,过程复杂且误差大,计算速度慢。本研究测距方案首先通过张正友标定法实现了图像的畸变矫正还原了图像的真实性。使用OpenCv开源库识别鱼体表面的激光轮廓,自定算法提升了轮廓识别的准确率,对激光轮廓进行重心分析法并得出激光亮度重心坐标。通过分析激光图像点坐标与空间坐标的位移关系,拟合一元五阶多项式回归模型预测距离,简化了参数。结果显示:激光重心识别并不连续,但在鱼体身上都能准确识别。测距模型平均误差5.6 mm,测试的样本中80%预测结果的误差都在7.0 mm内,最大误差也在标定的2 cm内,能够满足鱼体测距的误差大小。研究表明,本方法可为进一步研究鱼体尺寸大小的表面三维信息获取提供参考。

Osteoarthritis is associated with the significantly increased friction of the joint,which results in progressive and irreversible damage to the articular cartilage.A synergistic therapy integrating lubrication enhancement and drug delivery is recently proposed for the treatment of early-stage *** the present study,bioinspired by the self-adhesion performance of mussels and super-lubrication property of articular cartilages,a biomimetic self-adhesive dopamine methacrylamide-poly(2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine)(DMA-MPC)copolymer was designed and synthesized via free radical *** copolymer was successfully modified onto the surface of biodegradable mesoporous silica nanoparticles(bMSNs)by the dip-coating method to prepare the dual-functional nanoparticles(bMSNs@DMA-MPC),which were evaluated using a series of surface characterizations including the transmission electron microscope(TEM),Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectrum,thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),*** tribological test and in vitro drug release test demonstrated that the developed nanoparticles were endowed with improved lubrication performance and achieved the sustained release of an anti-inflammatory drug,i.e.,diclofenac sodium(DS).In addition,the in vitro biodegradation test showed that the nanoparticles were almost completely biodegraded within 10 ***,the dual-functional nanoparticles were biocompatible and effectively reduced the expression levels of two inflammation factors such as interleukin-1β(IL-1β)and interleukin-6(IL-6).In summary,the surface functionalized nanoparticles with improved lubrication and local drug release can be applied as a potential intra-articularly injected biolubricant for synergistic treatment of early-stage osteoarthritis.

Cold spray(CS) is considered as a new type of repairing technique for restoration or remanufacturing of a wide range of unserviceable engineering components due to its unique ‘cold’ characteristic. In this work, a viable repairing approach i.e. "cold spraying followed by hot rolling post-treatment" was successfully applied to restore defective neutron shielding B_(4)C/6061 Al composite plates. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD) results revealed that the coating-substrate interface is in a good bonding state without micro-cracks. Hot rolling post-treatment resulted in improved microstructure of the as-sprayed deposit with more uniform distribution of B_(4)C particles in the ***, well bonded splat boundaries and strain free Al grains were evolved in the matrix due to enhanced splat deformation and continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX). Three-point bending test results revealed that the strength of the repaired material is at par with the in-service plates. The findings of this work could be considered as a great stride to further extend possible applications of CS for repairing engineering structural components.

Study on the Transport of COD in the Sea Area Around Maidao off qingdao Coast Using Data Assimilation

A two-layer pollutant advection-diffusion model is built to investigate the pollutant transport in the sea area around Maidao off qingdao coast. An adjoint data assimilation technique is applied to estimate the optimal values of the model parameters. The experimental results on the initial field of pollutant indicate that the distribution of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) concentra- tion is sensitive to the horizontal eddy diffusivity. An appropriate value of horizontal eddy diffusivity is necessary in order to depict the influence of the initial field precisely, and it is also essential to the simulation of the advection-diffusion process of the pollutant. By inversion of the model parameters and optimization of the initial COD concentrations, the simulation results are improved sig- nificantly. The cost function is reduced to 40% of its first step value. The average misfit between the model outputs and the observa- tions in the upper layer decreases from 0.46 to 0.25 mg L-1, and that in the lower layer decreases from 0.22 to 0.14 mg L-1.
