The broader application of lithium-ion batteries(lIBs)is constrained by safety concerns arising from thermal runaway(TR).Accurate prediction of TR is essential to comprehend its underlying mechanisms,expedite battery design,and enhance safety protocols,thereby significantly promoting the safer use of *** complex,nonlinear nature of lIB systems presents substantial challenges in TR modeling,stemming from the need to address multiscale simulations,multiphysics coupling,and computing efficiency *** paper provides an extensive review and outlook on TR modeling technologies,focusing on recent advances,current challenges,and potential future *** begin with an overview of the evolutionary processes and underlying mechanisms of TR from multiscale perspectives,laying the foundation for TR *** a comprehensive understanding of TR phenomena and mechanisms,we introduce a multiphysics coupling model framework to encapsulate these *** this framework,we detail four fundamental physics modeling approaches:thermal,electrical,mechanical,and fluid dynamic models,highlighting the primary challenges in developing and integrating these *** address the intrinsic trade-off between computational accuracy and efficiency,we discuss several promising modeling strategies to accelerate TR simulations and explore the role of AI in advancing next-generation TR ***,we discuss challenges related to data availability,model scalability,and safety standards and regulations.

We report on the magnetohydrodynamic impact on the axisymmetric flow of Al_(2)O_(3)/Cu nanoparticles suspended in H_(2)O past a stretched/shrinked *** the use of partial differential equations and the corresponding thermophysical characteristics of nanoparticles,the physical flow process is *** resultant nonlinear system of partial differential equations is converted into a system of ordinary differential equations using the suitable similarity *** transformed differential equations are solved *** of the magnetic parameter,solid volume fraction and stretching/shrinking parameter on momentum and temperature distribution have been analyzed and interpreted *** skin friction and Nusselt number were also *** addition,existence of dual solution was deduced for the shrinking sheet and unique solution for the stretching ***,Al_(2)O_(3)/H_(2)O nanofluid flow has better thermal conductivity on comparing with Cu/H_(2)O ***,it was found that the first solutions of the stream are stable and physically realizable,whereas those of the second ones are unstable.

Solid-state synthesis and ion transport characteristics of the β-KSbF_(4) for all-solid-state fluoride-ion batteries

All-solid-state fluoride ion batteries(FIBs)have been recently considered as a post-lithium-ion battery system due to their high safety and high energy *** like all solid-state lithium batteries,the key to the development of FIBs lies in room-temperature electrolytes with high ionic conductivity.β-KSbF_(4) is a kind of promising solid-state electrolyte for FIBs owing to its rational ionic conductivity and relatively wide electrochemical stability window at room ***,the previous synthesis routes ofβ-KSbF_(4) required the use of highly toxic hydrofluoric acid and the ionic conductivity of as-prepared product needs to be further ***,the β-KSbF_(4) sample with an ionic conductivity of 1.04×10^(-4)s cm^(-1)(30°C)is synthesized through the simple solid-state *** order to account for the high ionic conductivity of the as-synthesizedβ-KSbF_(4),X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS)are used to characterize the physic-ochemical *** results show that the as-synthesizedβ-KSbF_(4) exhibits higher carrier concentra-tion of 1.0×10^(-6)S cm-Hz^(-1)K and hopping frequency of 1.31×10^(6)Hz at 30°C due to the formation of the fluorine ***,the hopping frequency shows the same trend as the changes of ionic conductivity with the changes of temperature,while the carrier concentration is found to be almost *** two different trends indicate the hopping frequency is mainly responsible for the ionic conduc-tion behavior withinβ-KSbF_(4).Furthermore,the all-solid-state FIBs,in which Ag and Pb+PbF_(2) are adopted as cathode and anode,andβ-KSbF_(4) as fluoride ion conductor,are capable of reversible charge and *** assembled FIBs show a discharge capacity of 108.4 mA h g^(-1) at 1st cycle and 74.2 mA h g^(-1) at 50th *** on an examination of the capacity decay mechanism,it has been found that deterioration of the electrolyte/electrode int

Exploring biofilm-forming molecular determinants in listeria monocytogenes by comparative genome-wide and transcriptomic analyses

In the food industry， bacterial cells usually adhere to equipment surfaces， forming biofilms that may cause persistent contamination. This study aimed to identify the key genes responsible for the stronger biofilm-forming capability of the lMB 33426 strain compared to that of the CICC 21662 strain through comparative genomics. Additionally， the expression of genes and related metabolic pathways of lMB 33426 and CICC 21662 strains were analyzed at the transcriptional level by high-throughput sequencing technology to uncover key differentially expressed genes between planktonic and biofilm cells of those two strains. Subsequently， the key genes found to present differences that were uncovered by those genome-wide and transcriptomic analyses were used to construct gene deletion strains. The crystalline violet assay and motility assay showed that Gl002291， Gl002712 and lmo1438 genes were involved in the regulation of biofilm formation as well as motility. The hydrophobicity and auto-aggregation ability assay results demonstrated an association between the clpB， lmo1438， and lmo0294 genes and bacterial adhesion. However， no significant differences were found regarding this association in the Gl002291 and Gl002712 genes. This study elucidates some potential regulatory genes associated with biofilm formation in l. monocytogenes， and laying a theoretical foundation for future research.

The p53 tumor suppressor is the guardian of the rrr- o human genome. Since ,ts discovery in pS3 has been the most studied molecule in the field of cancer. Recently, its role has also been extended to other biological and pathological processes, p53 functions primarily as a transcription factor to regulate target genes that encode proteins crucial for promot- ing apoptotic cell death, cell cycle arrest, senescence, and so on in response to diverse upstream stressors. Interestingly, some of the p53 targets are noncoding RNAs. Noncoding RNAs can be functional without being translated into proteins and are often independent RNA molecules or noncoding parts of messenger RNAs. The past decade has witnessed bur- geoning intensive investigation on the interplay of noncoding RNAs with p53, its regulators, and effectors during the development of cancer and/or other dis- eases. This issue of Journal of Molecular Cell Biology presents five essays to review the rapid progress in this area from five different angles and to offer new insight into the role of noncoding RNAs in the p53 signaling web with updated information.

Transition Metal/lanthanide-Nitrogen Double Bonds Co-stabilized in a Carbon Cage

Metal−nitrogen double bonds have been commonly reported for conventional metal complexes,but the coexistence of both transition metal−nitrogen and lanthanide−nitrogen double bonds bridged by nitrogen within one compound has never been ***,by encapsulating a ternary transition metallanthanide heteronuclear dimetallic nitride into a C_(84) fullerene cage,transition metal−nitrogen and lanthanide-nitrogen double bonds are costabilized simultaneously within the as-formed clusterfullerene TiCeN@C_(1)(12)-C_(84),which is a representative heteronuclear dimetallic nitride *** molecular structure was unambiguously determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction,revealing a slightly bentμ2-bridged nitride cluster with short Ti−N(1.761Å)and Ce−N(2.109Å)bond lengths,which are comparable to the corresponding Ti=N and Ce=N double bonds of reported metal complexes and consistent with the theoretically predicted values,confirming their coexistence within TiCeN@C_(1)(12)-C_(84).Density functional theory(DFT)cal.ulations unveil three-center two-electron(3c-2e)bonds delocalized over the entire TiCeN cluster,which are responsible for costabilization of Ti�N and Ce�N double *** electronic configuration of Ti4+Ce^(3+)N^(3−)@C_(84)^(4−)is proposed featuring an intramolecular four-electron transfer,drastically different from the analogous actinide dimetallic nitride clusterfullerene(u_(2))^(9+)N^(3−)@C_(80)^(6−)and trimetallic nitride clusterfullerene(Sc_(2))^(6+)Ti^(3+)^(N3−)@C_(80)^(6−),indicating the peculiarity of 4-fold negatively charged fullerene cage in stabilizing the heteronuclear dimetallic nitride cluster.

Kl Divergence Based ISAC Constellation and Beam forming Design in the Presence of Clutter

Integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) is regarded as a pivotal technology for 6G communication. In this paper， we employ Kullback-leibler divergence (KlD) as the unified performance metric for ISAC systems， and investigate constellation and beamforming design in the presence of clutters. In particular， the constellation design problem is solved via the successive convex approximation (SCA) technique， while the optimal beamforming in terms of sensing KlD is proven to be equivalent to maximizing the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) of echo signals. Numerical results demonstrate the tradeoff between sensing and communication performance under different parameter setups. Additionally， the beampattern generated by the proposed algorithm achieves significant clutter suppression and higher SINR of echo signals compared with the conventional scheme.
