The Application of Solid Waste in Thermal Insulation Materials: A Review

As socioeconomic development continues,the issue of building energy consumption has attracted significant attention,and improving the thermal insulation performance of buildings has become a crucial strategic measure.Simultaneously,the application of solid waste in insulation materials has also become a hot topic.This paper reviews the sources and classifications of solid waste,focusing on research progress in its application as insulation materials in the domains of daily life,agriculture,and industry.The research shows that incorporating household solid waste materials,such as waste glass,paper,and clothing scraps into cementitious thermal insulation can significantly reduce the thermal conductivity of the materials,leading to excellent thermal insulation properties.Insulation materials prepared from agricultural solid waste,such as barley straw,corn stalk,chicken feather,and date palm fibers,possess characteristics of lightweight and strong thermal insulation.Industrial solid waste,including waste tires,iron tailings,and coal bottom ash,can also be utilized in the preparation of insulation materials.These innovative applications not only have positive environmental significance by reducing waste emissions and resource consumption,but also provide efficient and sustainable insulation solutions for the construction industry.However,to further optimize the mix design and enhance the durability of insulation materials,continuous research is required to investigate the mechanisms through which solid waste impacts the performance of insulation materials.

Temporal and spatial analysis of vegetation fire activity in the circum-Arctic during 2001–2020

Vegetation fires become the concern worldwide due to their substantial impacts on climate and environment,and in particular in the circum-Arctic.Assessing vegetation fires and associated emissions and causes can improve understanding of fire regime and provide helpful information for vegetation fires solution.In this study,satellitebased vegetation fires and emissions during 2001–2020 were investigated and contributions of different types of fires were analyzed.Furthermore,climate anomalies related to extreme vegetation fires were explored.The main results showed that the region south of the Arctic circle(50°N-67°N)experienced a greater number of vegetation fires compared to the Arctic(north of 67°N).During 2001–2020,interannual variability of vegetation fires between 50°N and 67°N appeared to be decreasing while emissions(including carbon,dry matter,PM_(2.5),and BC)appeared to be increasing overall,which were contributed by the increasing summer boreal forest fires in this region largely.In the Arctic,vegetation fires and emissions increased in recent years distinctly,and those were dominated by the summer forest fires.Spatially,large increases of vegetation fires were located in the eastern Siberia and northern North America while large decreases were located in the northwestern Eurasia mainly.Additionally,in the Arctic,the unprecedented vegetation fires were observed in the eastern Siberia and Alaska in 2019 and in the eastern Siberia in 2020,which could be attributed to high pressure,high near-surface temperature,and low air moisture anomalies.Meanwhile,obvious anticyclonic anomalies in Alaska in 2019 and in the eastern Siberia in 2020 and cyclonic anomalies in the western Siberia in 2019,also played an important role on fire occurrences making drier conditions.

Influence of South Asian Biomass Burning on Ozone and Aerosol Concentrations Over the Tibetan Plateau

In this work,the influence of South Asian biomass burning emissions on O_(3) and PM_(2.5)concentrations over the Tibetan Plateau(TP)is investigated by using the regional climate chemistry transport model WRF-Chem.The simulation is validated by comparing meteorological fields and pollutant concentrations against in situ observations and gridded datasets,providing a clear perspective on the spatiotemporal variations of O_(3) and PM_(2.5)concentrations across the Indian subcontinent,including the Tibetan Plateau.Further sensitivity simulations and analyses show that emissions from South Asian biomass burning mainly affect local O_(3) concentrations.For example,contribution ratios were up to 20%in the Indo-Gangetic Plain during the pre-monsoon season but below 1%over the TP throughout the year 2016.In contrast,South Asian biomass burning emissions contributed more than 60%of PM_(2.5)concentration over the TP during the pre-monsoon season via significant contribution of primary PM_(2.5)components(black carbon and organic carbon)in western India that were lofted to the TP by westerly winds.Therefore,it is suggested that cutting emissions from South Asian biomass burning is necessary to alleviate aerosol pollution over the TP,especially during the pre-monsoon season.

Effect of High Temperature Curing on the Frost Resistance of Recycled Aggregate Concrete and the Physical Properties of Second-Generation Recycled Coarse Aggregate under Freeze-Thaw Cycles

With the emphasis on environmental issues,the recycling of waste concrete,even recycled concrete,has become a hot spot in the field of architecture.But the repeated recycling of waste concrete used in harsh environments is still a complex problem.This paper discusses the durability and recyclability of recycled aggregate concrete(RAC)as a prefabricated material in the harsh environment,the effect of high-temperature curing(60℃,80℃,and 100℃)on the frost resistance of RAC and physical properties of the second generation recycled coarse aggregate(RCA_(2))of RAC after 300 freeze-thaw cycles were studied.The frost resistance of RAC was characterized by compressive strength,relative dynamic elastic modulus,and mass loss.As the physical properties of RCA_(2),the apparent density,water absorption,and crushing value were measured.And the SEM images of RAC after 300 freeze-thaw cycles were shown.The results indicated that the frost resistance of RAC cured at 80℃ for 7 days was comparable to that cured in the standard condition(cured for 28 days at 20℃±2℃ and 95%humidity),and the RAC cured at 100℃ was slightly worse.However,the frost resistance of RAC cured at 60℃ deteriorated seriously.The RAC cured at 80℃ for 7 days is the best.Whether after the freeze-thaw cycle or not,the RCA that curd at 60℃,80℃,and 100℃ for 7 days can also meet the requirements of Grade III RCA and be used as the aggregate of non-bearing part of prefabricated concrete components.RCA_(2) which is cured at 80℃ for 7 days had the best physical properties.

考虑“以旧换再”和租赁的再制造品实现方式,构建了单个垄断制造商回收再制造的两阶段博弈模型。引入消费者购买再制造品的心理成本和功能质量认可度,研究了二者对产品需求和制造商利润、生产决策的影响,得出制造商4种生产决策的边界条件。进一步探究存在固定成本时,政府“以旧换再”补贴对制造商生产决策的影响和不同生产决策下的环境效益。研究表明,利润与功能质量认可度正相关,与心理成本负相关;心理成本低于阈值时,“以旧换再”才有利可图;制造商可以通过租赁拓展再制造品的市场份额并获取更高的收益;心理成本高时,制造商采取再制造品租赁策略可以实现经济与环境效益最优;心理成本低时,政府需加大补贴激励制造商进行“以旧换再”,以达到经济与环境效益双赢。

Endogenous Security Formal Definition,Innovation Mechanisms,and Experiment Research in Industrial Internet

With the rapid development of information technologies,industrial Internet has become more open,and security issues have become more challenging.The endogenous security mechanism can achieve the autonomous immune mechanism without prior knowledge.However,endogenous security lacks a scientific and formal definition in industrial Internet.Therefore,firstly we give a formal definition of endogenous security in industrial Internet and propose a new industrial Internet endogenous security architecture with cost analysis.Secondly,the endogenous security innovation mechanism is clearly defined.Thirdly,an improved clone selection algorithm based on federated learning is proposed.Then,we analyze the threat model of the industrial Internet identity authentication scenario,and propose cross-domain authentication mechanism based on endogenous key and zero-knowledge proof.We conduct identity authentication experiments based on two types of blockchains and compare their experimental results.Based on the experimental analysis,Ethereum alliance blockchain can be used to provide the identity resolution services on the industrial *** of Things Application(IOTA)public blockchain can be used for data aggregation analysis of Internet of Things(IoT)edge nodes.Finally,we propose three core challenges and solutions of endogenous security in industrial Internet and give future development directions.

目的分析牙支持式数字化导板引导牙种植治疗的效果。方法此次研究选取的对象为2021年6月-2023年5月在中山市口腔医院开展牙种植治疗的患者,共70例。将病例以双色球法分成两组,每组各35例。对照组采取常规牙种植治疗,观察组采取牙支持式数字化导板进行牙种植,并进行治疗效果对比。结果观察组顶部、根尖部、深度、角度等种植体植入精确度差异低于对照组(P<0.05)。治疗后3个月、6个月,观察组PES评分、WES评分均高于对照组(P<0.05)。观察组治疗后6个月,各项0HIP-14评分均低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论牙种植治疗中,通过利用牙支持式数字化导板引导,有助于提升种植体植入精确度,可减少误差,提高种植效果及美学效果,利于患者口腔健康水平的恢复。

Optimization of Temperature Drop Formula for Annular Gathering Pipeline in High Water Cut Oil Region of Central Hebei Province

In order to respond to the national policy of energy saving and consumption reduction, the temperature drop formula of annular pipeline should be established to optimize the water mixing temperature and water mixing flow. The traditional temperature drop formula applies the high water cut actual situation to 13.7%. On the basis of the traditional Schulhof temperature drop formula, the influence of hydraulic friction on the oil flow temperature is calculated by the calculus idea. The heat transfer coefficient of the pipeline under the complex condition is obtained by the inverse algorithm, and the water mixing flow and water temperature are simulated with MATLAB. The function surface diagram of the degree and the back station temperature. The actual error can be reduced to 4.8%, and the return station temperature can be optimized by 7 degrees.

Accelerated thermal ageing on performance of polypropylene-based semiconducting screen for high voltage direct current cable applications-Effect of antioxidants

The potential of using eco-friendly thermoplastic polypropylene(PP)-based insulation for high voltage direct current(HVDC)cable has been widely investigated but much less work on the PP-based semiconducting screen(SC).Considering a long service life(>30 years)under high temperature and high electrical stress is required for typical HVDC cables,and investigations on the effect of antioxidant(AO)concentration and thermal oxidative sta-bility,mechanical,and electrical properties of PP-based SCs have been conducted.It has been demonstrated that an appropriate combination and amounts of AOs are critical for achieving high thermal stability and maintaining the mechanical properties of SC after ageing in a harsh environment(150°C,with Cu,in air,7 days).Although higher amounts of space charges have been observed in SC/PP/SC samples with higher AO concentrations,the impact on space charge behaviours is less after ageing,suggesting that ageing(or operating at high temperature)leads to microstructure evolution in SC and can potentially mitigate space accumulation in PP-based insulating materials.
