The residential energy scheduling of solar energy is an important research area of smart grid. On the demand side, factors such as household loads, storage batteries, the outside public utility grid and renewable energy resources, are combined together as a nonlinear, time-varying, indefinite and complex system, which is difficult to manage or optimize. Many nations have already applied the residential real-time pricing to balance the burden on their grid. In order to enhance electricity efficiency of the residential micro grid, this paper presents an action dependent heuristic dynamic programming(ADHDP) method to solve the residential energy scheduling problem. The highlights of this paper are listed below. First,the weather-type classification is adopted to establish three types of programming models based on the features of the solar energy. In addition, the priorities of different energy resources are set to reduce the loss of electrical energy ***, three ADHDP-based neural networks, which can update themselves during applications, are designed to manage the flows of electricity. Third, simulation results show that the proposed scheduling method has effectively reduced the total electricity cost and improved load balancing process. The comparison with the particle swarm optimization algorithm further proves that the present method has a promising effect on energy management to save cost.

Geographic Hypermedia(GH)is a rich and interactive map document with geo-tagged graphics,sound and video ele-ments.A Geographic Hypermedia System(GHS)is designed to manage,query,display and explore GH *** emerging geo-tagged videos and measurable images as valuable geographic data resources,this paper aims to design a web-based GHS using web mapping,geoprocessing,video streaming and XMLHTTP *** concept,data model,system design and implementation of this GHS are discussed in ***-tagged videos are modeled as temporal,spatial and metadata entities such as video clip,video path and frame-based ***,geo-tagged stereo video and derived data are modeled as interre-lated entities:original video,rectified video,stereo video,video path,frame-based description and measurable image(rectified and disparity image with baseline,interior and exterior parameters).The entity data are organized into video files,GIS layers with linear referencing and XML documents for web *** data can be integrated in HTML pages or used as Rich Internet Appli-cations(RIA)using standard web technologies such as the AJAX,*** and RIA *** SOA-based GHS is designed using four types of web services:ArcGIS Server 9.3 web mapping and geoprocessing services,Flash FMS 3.0 video streaming ser-vices and GeoRSS XMLHTTP *** applications in road facility management and campus hypermapping indicate that the GH data models and technical solutions introduced in this paper are useful and flexible enough for wider deployment as a GHS.

This paper concerns the convex optimal control problem governed by multiscale elliptic equations with arbitrarily rough L∞coefficients,which has not only complex coupling between nonseparable scales and nonlinearity,but also important applications in composite materials and *** use one of the recently developed numerical homogenization techniques,the so-called Rough Polyharmonic Splines(RPS)and its generalization(GRPS)for the efficient resolution of the elliptic operator on the coarse *** methods have optimal convergence rate which do not rely on the regularity of the coefficients nor the concepts of scale-separation or *** the iterative solution of the nonlinearly coupled OCP-OPT formulation for the optimal control problem requires solving the corresponding(state and co-state)multiscale elliptic equations many times with different right hand sides,numerical homogenization approach only requires one-time pre-computation on the fine scale and the following iterations can be done with computational cost proportional to coarse degrees of *** experiments are presented to validate the theoretical analysis.

Composite materials(AZ-x) were prepared by mixing the nanosized HY zeolite and γ-Al_2 O_3 using the sol-gel mixing method and were employed as the support for NiMo catalysts(NiMo/AZ-x). These composites and catalysts were characterized by XRD, BET, TPD, TPR, HRTEM and FT-IR spectroscopy. Compared with the NiMo catalyst supported onγ-Al_2 O_3(NiMo/γ-Al_2 O_3), these NiMo/AZ-x catalysts show higher activity in the hydrodesulfurization(HDS) of FCC diesel,and the HDS activity increases with an increasing HY mass content in the composites, provided that the HY mass fraction does not exceed 20%. Compared with γ-Al_2 O_3, the introduction of nanosized HY zeolite can improve the porous structure of the composites,which can benefit the mass transfer of the reactant molecules. Furthermore,the nanosized HY zeolite in the composites can modify their surface properties which would increase the ratio of metal species to be transformed into reducible phase in low temperature region and modify the morphology of the MoS2 phases to form more multi-stacked MoS_2 active phases with increased dispersion of edges and corners of Mo atoms.

Triboelectric nanogenerators(TENGs)are among the most promising available energy harvesting ***-based TENGs are flexible,renewable,and ***,the flammability of cellulose prevents it from being used in open-flame *** this study,the lattice of cellulose was adjusted by the hydroxyl ionization of cellulose molecules,and Na+was introduced to enhance the flame retardancy of cellulose nanofibers(CNFs).The experimental results showed that the amount of hydrogen bonding between cellulose molecules increased with the introduction of Na+and that the limiting oxygen index reached 36.4%.The lattice spacing of cellulose increased from 0.276 to 0.286 nm,and the change in lattice structure exposed more hydroxyl groups,which changed the polarity of *** surface potential of the fibers increased from 239 to 323 mV,the maximum open-circuit voltage was 25 V·cm–2,the short-circuit current was 2.10μA,and the output power density was 4.56μW·cm–*** with those of CNFs,the output voltage,current,and transferred charge increased by 96.8%,517%,and 23%,respectively,and showed good stability and reliability during cyclic *** study provides a valuable strategy for improving the performance of cellulose-based TENGs.

A phosphine oxide-containing bio-based curing agent was synthesized by addition reaction between furan derivatives and diphenylphosphine *** molecular structure of the as-prepared bio-based curing agent was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance *** mechanical analysis results indicated that with the increase of bio-based curing agent content,the glass transition temperature of epoxy/bio-based curing agent composites decreased,which was related to the steric effect of diphenylphosphine oxide species that possibly hinder the curing reaction as well as the reduction in the cross-linking density by mono-functional *** the addition of 7.5 wt-%bio-based curing agent,the resulting epoxy composite achieved UL-94 V-0 rating,in addition to limiting oxygen index of 32.0 vol-%.With the increase of content for the bio-based curing agent,the peak of heat release rate and total heat release of the composites gradually *** bio-based curing agent promoted the carbonization of the epoxy matrix,leading to higher char yield with good thermal *** high-quality char layer served as an effective barrier to retard the diffusion of decomposition volatiles and oxygen between molten polymers and the *** study provides a renewable strategy for fabricating flame retardant and transparent epoxy thermoset.

Vaccines have been the primary remedy in the global fight against coronavirus disease 2019（COVID-19）.The receptor-binding domain（RBD） of the spike protein, a critical viral immunogen, is affected by the heterogeneity of its glycan structures and relatively low immunogenicity. Here, we describe a scalable synthetic platform that enables the precise synthesis of homogeneously glycosylated RBD, facilitating the elucidation of carbohydrate structure–function relationships. Five homogeneously glycosylated RBDs bearing biantennary glycans were prepared, three of which were conjugated to T-helper epitope(Tpep) from tetanus toxoid to improve their weak immune response. Relative to natural HEK293-derived RBD, synthetic RBDs with biantennary N-glycan elicited a higher level of neutralising antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 in mice. Furthermore, RBDs containing Tpepelicited significant immune responses in transgenic mice expressing human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2. Our collective data suggest that trimming the N-glycans and Tpepconjugation of RBD could potentially serve as an effective strategy for developing subunit vaccines providing efficient protection.
