The rational design of the catalysts with easily-accessible surface and high intrinsic activity is desirable for electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Here,we reported the construction of two-dimensional(2D)Co-Mo nitrides based heterojunctional catalyst for efficient HER based on a“mediated molecular”assisted route.The 2D Co(OH)_(2)sheet reacted partially with the“mediated molecular”(2-methylimidazole(2-MIM))to form zeolitic imidazolate framework(ZIF)-67 at surface,giving ZIF-67/Co(OH)_(2)sheets.The ZIF-67 combines with[PMo_(12)O_(40)]^(3−)cluster(PMo_(12))due to the interaction of mediated molecular with PMo_(12),producing 2D Mo-Co-2MIM/Co(OH)_(2)bimetallic precursor.After controlled nitriding,the Mo_(2)N islands dispersed on 2D porous Co-based sheets were formed.A series of characterizations and density functional theory(DFT)calculation indicated the formation of a close contact interface,which promotes the electron transfer between Mo and Co components,enhances the electron migration/redistribution and redistribution and down-shift of d-band center and thus gives a high intrinsic activity.The 2D characteristics make the catalyst more accessible contact sites,which is favourable to promot the HER.The tests showed that the optimized catalyst exhibits an onset potential of 0 mV and an overpotential of 10 mA·cm^(−2)at 35.0 mV,which is quite close to that of Pt/C catalyst.It also exhibits an activity superior to Pt/C at high current density(>100 mA·cm^(−2)).A good stability of the catalyst was achieved with no significant decay for 100 h of continuous operation.The electrolytic cell composed of optimized catalyst and P-NiFe-layered double hydroxide(LDH)can be driven by low voltage(only 1.47 V)to reach a current density of 10 mA·cm^(−2).

According to the Seventh National Census of China,the population of adults aged 65 and above will be 190 million in 2020(13.5%of the total population).As the“post-60s”group born at the second childbirth peak reaches retirement age,the growth rate of the population of older adults will accelerate significantly.By 2030,the proportion of older population(aged 65 and above)will reach about 17%,and the growth rate of the population aged 80 and above will be even more pronounced.

The magnetic dynamics of a thin Co_(2)FeAl film epitaxially grown on GaAs substrate was investigated using the timeresolved magneto-optical Kerr measurement under an out-of-plane external field.The intrinsic magnetic damping constant,which should do not vary with the external magnetic field,exhibits an abnormal huge increase when the precession frequency is tuned to be resonant with that of the coherent longitudinal acoustic phonon in the Co_(2)FeAl/GaAs heterostructure.The experimental finding is suggested to result from the strong coherent energy transfer from spins to acoustic phonons via magnetoelastic effect under a resonant coupling condition,which leads to a huge energy dissipation of spins and a greatly enhanced magnetic damping in Co_(2)FeAl.Our experimental findings provide an experimental evidence of spin pumping-like effect driven by propagating acoustic phonons via magnetoelastic effect,suggesting an alternative approach to the possible long-range spin manipulation via coherent acoustic waves.

Nationwide distribution of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in soil of China and the association with bacterial community

Soil contamination by polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)has raised great environmental concerns.However,the information on national wide distribution of PAHs in soil as well as their effect on soil bacterial community are limited.In this study,16 PAHs weremeasured in 94 soil samples collected across China.The total concentration of 16 PAHs(PAHs)in soil ranged from 74.0 to 17,657 ng/g(dry weight basis),with a median value of 200 ng/g.Pyrene was themajor soil PAH,with amedian concentration of 71.3 ng/g.Soil samples from Northeast China had a higher median concentration ofPAHs(1,961 ng/g)than those from other regions.Petroleum emission and wood/grass/coal combustion were potential sources for soil PAHs based on diagnostic ratios and positive matrix factors analysis.A nonnegligible ecological risk(hazard quotients>1)was found in over 20%of soil samples analyzed and the highestmedian total HQs value(8.53)was found in soils from Northeast China.The effect of PAHs on bacterial abundance,α-diversity,andβ-diversity was limited in the soils surveyed.Nevertheless,the relative abundance of some members in genera Gaiella,Nocardioides,and Clostridium was significantly correlated with the concentrations of some PAHs.Especially,the bacterium Gaiella Occulta showed potential in indicating soil contamination by PAH,which is worth further exploration.

Monolayer transition-metal dichalcogenides possess rich excitonic physics and unique valley-contrasting optical selection rule,and offer a great platform for long spin/valley lifetime engineering and the associated spin/valleytronics exploration.Using two-color time-resolved Kerr rotation and time-resolved reflectivity spectroscopy,we investigate the spin/valley dynamics of different excitonic states in monolayer WSe_(2)grown by molecular beam epitaxy.With fine tuning of the photon energy of both pump and probe beams,the valley relaxation process for the neutral excitons and trions is found to be remarkably different-their characteristic spin/valley lifetimes vary from picoseconds to nanoseconds,respectively.The observed long trion spin lifetime of>2.0 ns is discussed to be associated with the dark trion states,which is evidenced by the photon-energy dependent valley polarization relaxation.Our results also reveal that valley depolarization for these different excitonic states is intimately connected with the strong Coulomb interaction when the optical excitation energy is above the exciton resonance.

Supply-driven chain＇s production is different from traditional demand-driven production because its supplies must guide the full production flow toward the markets and respond actively to customer demand. According to the control tlaeory, a novel multi-variable operation model of supply-driven chain is discussed here, integrating suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and market demands. Especially the coordination problem between suppliers and manufacturers is discussed where suppliers play more important role than manufacturers. Because defect is common in real production system, the production operation of supply-driven chain with imperfect quality is described on the basis of fuzzy set to model the ambiguity of quality and to provide appropriate supply coordination mechanism. In a designed numerical example, it is apparent that both response and robustness performances of supply-driven production system on demand with imperfect quality are improved by a fuzzy proportional-integral- differential regulator. The proposed model may apply to similar productions with imoerfect quality.

The advancement of supe rcapacitors largely relies on the innovation of electrode materials with high-rate performance and ultra-long cycling stability.In this work,unique N-doped nanofibers on carbon cloth(NCNFs/CC) are prepared by an electrodepositio n-annealing method for application in supercapacitors.The as-prepared N-doped nanofibers(N-CNFs) show diameters of 100-150 nm and cross-link with each other fo rming porous conductive network.Due to enhanced conductivity and reinforced structural stability,the N-CNFs/CC arrays are demonstrated with better electrochemical performance than CNFs/CC counterpart,including higher specific capacitance(195.2 F g^-1 at a current density of 2.5 A g^-1),excellent rate capability(80.5.% capacity retention as the rate increases from 2.5-20 A g^-1) and good cycling stability(99.5.%retention after 10,000 cycles).These reinforced electrochemical properties are attributed to N-doped conductive architecture with faster ion/electron transfer paths and more active sites.Our findings may offe r a new way for construction of advanced high-rate electrodes for energy storage.
